Sometimes we need to decide if we will continue to hold or change the coin that we are holding it is happen so many times to me, if the coin is slowly moving coin but a high potential to rise in the near future I think the best decision is to hold and wait for it, because we can still find another coin to buy there are a lot of potential coin this time and holding for a long term or mid term is depend on our own decision.

In a case like yours I think it is necessary to do some analysis before making a decision,
it is not easy to analyze and we need to study it more deeply,
holding on is also not easy because it requires patience

hard to tell if when this coin will experience another good pump, the momentum shifted to Shiba
the scheme seems to be using the same pattern; we don't know if those who pumped these two coins
will continue to use these two assets or we will see another new one that will undergo with the same

If you are willing to wait maybe yes it can be pump or again maybe another project will rise with
the same way with how both Doge and Shiba.

To have faith in a coin, you must go for solid coins like top 20 in CMC. If you invest in shitcoins and they fell from there ATH then you have to other option left but to sell them at loss. Also buying price is very important, most of us buy when coins are at there ATH ( BTC right now) and thats the biggest mistake. Wait for the market to take correction and buy when prices are down.

If we can avoid meme coins from the start, i think it will be better so we will not be in trouble holding it continuously but with no definite time to make profits. Maybe as long as there is hype that pumps them, it will be a good time to sell. Because once the hype will be over, i don't think we can see them rising again, not unless there are big whales who will make their prices pump again.

However, seeing the present price of dogecoin right now, its more on a correction so once the price pumps again, better sell it immediately or change them into some other coins that at least have real utility case so you will be at peace thinking that their value will keep on rising once there is still a good demand for that coins.

It's really risky to buy Doge in large quantities, that's the risk of playing Doge, oddly enough after you sell the price will definitely go up, so for now it's better to just wait because now Doge is entering a period of correction.

It's the domino.

When bitcoin dumps, the alts do dump too.

And when you are in that situation, there's nothing else you have to do about it but to adapt, hold and buy if you can and you have the capacity in doing so.

I've never been wrong in holding but this is for the best coins in the market.

Who bought Doge coin at the highest price like 0.70$ he shouldn’t hold till now. Because There is no guarantee that Dogecoin will ever go up to that price again. So at least Dogecoin should not be hold but other gold coins should be bought and held long time like MATIC, BNB, ADA The future of these tokens is great

Because he was eaten by FOMO so he bought Doge at a high price and didn't know how to risk buying at a very high price while Doge couldn't go back to high prices unless Elon Musk acted again on his twitter tweet.
However, the decision is in his hands if he dares to change to another altcoin then he can possibly have a potential coin with trend-following increases and if he sticks with doge then it can last at a very long low price.
All decisions are in his hands.

This is only personal opinion, but if me i will change to a new coin, or it is all depends on economic condition of the trader. Because if i still have spare money to trade, or maybe to regain my capital back and i still can hold my doge while doing it, then i will hold. If don't have other choices then i will sell, because waiting will only waste time and maybe chance to gain profit in other coins.

This is not realistic thing about Dogecoin because I have feeling this is not possible for him to touch this figure in near future even Elon Musk is giving some good shorts about this but still it is just a meme coin and have nothing use case even devs never done any development, but community is having use for fewer fees on few casinos or transfer of funds from one exchange to second nothing other specialty with this joke coin which give strong indicator for touching $1 in near future recently it is having some correction and again just can to on previous rate or some above if Elon going to tweet again or someone going to hype for his own sack.

Shiba is also having some better trading volume in recent time, but nothing use case is appearing for this also.
