I would suggest that you should keep your coin and just have faith in your coin because later on, probably it will increase and if it doesn't, well you should be wise in choosing the coin that you will purchase. If you sell and the price will increase, it will break your heart more than before so just take the risk and you'll harvest the fruit of your patience.
This is a very hard decision to take whether to hold your Altcoins or to sell when the price soar or dip. Most times once you sell the price will continue soar higher and you will regret your decision. To me most times you have to sell to move forward maybe by buying other altcoins that have great potential. However sometimes you have to hold forward and watch for greater profits.
If you want to maximize your profits,and if you dont want to lose a lot of money,in the time like this you need to be strong and hold it until the market recovers.
Correction is a good time to buy some more altcoins. Don't sell at least without 10% profit, if you want to buy another coin. Just hodl.
I am a holder during correction times. Or buyer, but almost never seller. I choose my coins careful and most of them I are long time investments. I try to sell when the price is good and buy more when is correction time.
Of course it's better to catch points when the price is below to buy and sell every time it's on top. But this is if you do it this way, otherwise you will lose money in trying to catch the bottom and top. Therefore it is safer to hold.
I think 2018 will not differ from 2017, therefore - hold

Hold, sell when you reach your goal, don't be too greedy with your investments and set a realistic goal where when your holding reach that value then you can trade your coins. make a time frame and if you have multiple investment from different coin then try to organize the data in each of your investments.

As a trader, we should be able to make decisions,, how much percentage of target minus, then if u choose to cut lost then you could buy back at low price. but if too deep, maybe you could hold or backup.
for me the way on how you are able to be more having the patient that you may think that this is the best thing to do then take that opportunity for cause we dont eve know how does it may happen for that hold and sell are always may depends on you as a person.
I think it is always good to hodl now, especially in the recent dips. Never panic sell your alt coins because your loss have not materialized until you have sold your coins
Just hold because if you sell your coins for now you will able loss your money and your investment because the price of some coins is going down. It is better hold you coins for now or if you have more money buy because this is the best time to buy coin when coins are in low value, don't miss the chance to have more profits in the future. Selling your coins is a bad idea for now, you can lose money. I'm already into holding because holding is just a enjoying part here in trading, waiting for the coins go pump and sell.
Remember this its better to hold the coin for a while than sell in a loosing trade.
Hold with certainty. These last days were nefarious and several currencies included btc itself bled, so hold now for sure and the best option not to lose money.
If you get a token from a successful project bounty, the token can you hold first with price speculation through your observations and targets. If you want to sell make sure first price on the market by looking at the price graph on the market.
For me, I will still HODL. Who knows the price might increase in the next several days

That would be the difficult decision to be made whether to hold or cutloss to lessen your loss. actually I have also bought XRP and currently holding. I bought at around 1.9$ per coins and it drops as low as 1.3$ but I do believe XRP can recover soon so I just let my coin there even for long Term I know XRP has a solid project and it surge as high as 4$ there is no doubt it can recover soon.

The best way to go about for price drops would be to hold it. Never sell them when you're losing. I learned that the hard way. I used to have str and xrp when their price was like 3,000 and 7,000 respectively. The market for these coins dropped and i was just so disappoinged cause i bought them too high that i decided to sell all of them and convert them to bitcoins. So a few months passed after that sell, tge price doubled and then i look at my losses and swear i'll never sell my coins when i'm losing. It will eventually climb back up, may not be today or tomorrow but it will. So hold them till you gain or break even.
I don't think panicking will do anything well right now. If the value drops, it is better if you buy more altcoins and proceed to hold it. Don't worry because the value will still go up sooner or later.
Hold it when price is dropping. Wait until it goes up back again. You just need a little patience.
