Holding is bullshit or not depend on you choose the coins. When you choose the coins that is not potential and good future, the result is like you feel now exactly.

You can choose the coin that has a potential if you did not do your own search. It needs a lot of effort just to find a perfect coin of your choice that's why you have to do your best so you will not end panic selling.

In my opinion, holding is not shit, but it becomes shit when you are holding shitcoins that is why you are very mad right now because you are holding coins that don't have any potential in the market that is why you are having a hard time making them enormous, think very wisely dude! Smiley

It is not that easy to say and depends what spcific coins you are talking about and how big your losses are. If you are down 90% I would not sell regardless and take a 6 months break...if they are still down, take a 6 year break

It depends about what you are holding seriously, some project are really insane and so cheap. Imagine you hold a project like Wanchain, in 2 years time, it may reached x100. So do your due diligence and invest wisely

sell your coins and buy really good coins. you wrongly hold the coins guys. I think not all coins should be held, especially coins that have no future like your coins. and there are no enthusiasts to trade the coins. you better hold Eth, xrp, str, ltc, doge, neo, dgb, etc., this coin has a good future.

Absolutely no...Just your portfolio should be more diverse I think; for me it's no surprise about these coins...I even never ever heard about them.

The last few months we see how the market is constantly declining. In these conditions, I see the only reasonable way out is to hodl your coins. I believe that selling coins is now inexpedient, the prices are too low. But this all will work only if you have strong and promising coins. I do not really believe in the future of your coins.

Holding itself is not nonsense. What is nonsense is a coin and how you handle it. Let's see you are investing in junk coins. Keep exploring new coins, there are plenty of good coins out there. No matter how good and promising coins, you should also observe and listen to your instincts.

You just need to determine true profitable projects and profitable coins and you need to be patient .. make research and listen other people.. and make your investment . this is the best way i guess.

I need to know on what basis did you choose those 3 coins to invest in ?? the only thing that is bullshit here is your choice of coins. for me they need to have an active online presence and need to have good road maps and objectives and plans for the future. and also I don't hold some random coin for that long it's only BTC or other TOP 20 coin that has a huge team and huge community.

i am thinking about it, but u never know what happens, some things i sold raised x10, some things lost its value, but in the current state almost all coins go down, only really strong are keeping their price or raise up even their value!

I realized that also. Holding too much isn't that worthy. Because I noticed that after a certain coin reaches its highest price, it will dump and it will be hard for it to recover and reach again the peak. So my technique now is I won't hold too much. Because there are many coins out there that could give me good profit. So once my coin reaches my desired profit, I won't hesitate to sell them all.

To obtain statistically reliable results it is necessary to conduct a study on a larger number of coins. If you take any sample of 100 coins and see how the price of this "index" has changed in three years, then I assume we will see significant growth. So the holding strategy works great.

Lol, so you sample pool is only three coins and you use that to assume that the entire trading philosophy of hodling is bullshit?

and the coins you are holding...I'm not familiar with espers, but I know about insane and html coin.
Don't know how to say this but, aren't your choices pretty terrible?
There doesn't seem to be much use for them and development is pretty much non existent...why would they rise in value?

I would highly recommend you reassess how you view potential value in coins.
Maybe there is something about them that I don't see that you see and your point is valid.
however, why would you continue to do something that doesn't bring you benefit?
Generally, isn't it good to adapt to the real circumstances you are in?

Of course, there is the rare chance that those coins get targeted for a pump and dump scheme and you see their price spike 1000% for a day or two, but might as well wait for dollars to start raining from the sky, I think you would have a better chance with that.

Or you can sell those coins for btc and try your hand at day trading, that's be a hoot.

You have to get what you want your own way.

stop generalizing just because you suck at it, there are lots of people who profit a lot and some even became millionaire by holding and trusting their coins, I suggest next time you hold a coin, make sure its a good one.

Holding a  coin is not bad, depending on what coins you are holding. But if you are holding coins with good project like for  example ETH,BTC. and others  your assurance to earn more is great.

Just curious. How did you gain control of this account? You are not the original owner of this account, Mr. Ethan Mckibben?

I think, holding maybe bullshit but it's important, depending on which coin to hold. if you hold 100 coins with great project ,btc eth xmr dcr others . there are 1 or 2 pump to moon ,you earn more then sell in low price..
