No! Your holding your coins because you see potential on it. It will became bad when your coin that your holding after several months is not moving maybe because there’s no potential on it. Before holding coins you should monitor, study, reasearch if your coins that your holding have potential in near future. It’s a risk specially if your coin is ico. You will never know when it will increase the value.
because you are holding shitcoins.. those coins that has a very low volume and low products abd services will just barely move. you should have invested in bitcoin or etherium or ripple. you've just wasted a few years of your life investments.

I don’t think that holding is a wrong way of doing in addition to cryptocurrencies. Maybe I am too conservative but trading with cryptocurrencies in modern world is impermissibly risky. It is possible to make a lot of mistakes.
Yes, I agree on you. Holding is not bad, It is not a bullshit. I guess it can help really do help for us to learn on how to become indepent and for us on how to become great. Your coin isnt popular enough to make money. You should try to hold popular coins for the reason that many audience are watching or supporting it. Holding a trash coin will lead you a trash future. Because your coins is bullshit too,that is why there are no improvements,HOLDING good altcoins and tokens will give you a lot of profits but holding these shitcoins which doesnt have good working product/services wont give you anything even you waited hundreds of years.Do a lot of research find new potential coins or projects only invest to good projects,read whitepaper check the team,the current developments and im sure your holdings will give you much better outcome.
I totally agree with this. We need to do that work of checking the whole project and making sure that a lucrative product or service is being issued, maintained and developed/grown.

If you want to invest in the long term, choose only the most promising coins. And if you do not know what to choose - buy bitcoin, it is always a good choice.
Holding is not BS. If you want to have a long term hold/investment you have to be careful in choosing which is which. Wise decision, do a research so that you can have the most out of it. And if that decision will not work, sell that coin and switch to another. You need to strategize to ensure a lot of profit. Go with altcoins that has a good roadmap and unique to other if they have the same project/concept and lastly do a backround check to the devs (achievements or previous work).

I have several coins that we plan to hold (HODL) long term like ADA, XRP, BTC, LTC, BCC (BCH), DASH, NEM, NEO and XLM. Other coins we buy and sell back into BTC trying to grow our BTC amount. My advice - don't sell too quickly. Wait for a week or two for the coin to swing up, as the market goes in swings
