Yes it can be and specially in such countries where bitcoin is already consider as legal currency, like japan. I am sure that in japan there must be hotels who will be accepting bitcoin. I think in future we can expect that even we will also be using bitcoin in hotels for dinner and luck etc. Because we can expect that very soon our government will also announce bitcoin as legal currency.

This is a very good idea for me since bitcoin's name is rising now. Accepting bitcoin is a good mode of payment especially when you are out of fiat money out of your wallet. I know this will be implemented in other countries too in the future.

This is because we generally go to hotels when we are traveling and if we are traveling abroad then currency exchange is always an issue. As bitcoin is a global currency this currency exchange problem can be ruled out and it will be easy for travelers staying in hotels to pay without the currency exchange hassle.
I do agree with you it would be great if Hotels accepts bitcoin as payment so that it wont be a hassle anymore to bring cash whenever you are in a vacation or staycation in a hotel. I hope this method of payment will be acceptable world wide soon.

It is no suprise with the bitcoin becoming more and more popular for its high price taht people are startting to consider investing in it, and for those who can't just spend time to earn of the internet or mine it, or buy it because of the fees that come of it, using bitcoin as an option of transactions in their bussnies modeles is the way to go, even though it seems that they will rarely get a 1 out of 100 people to pay them via bitcoin it is still a good way to get it. now everywhere, every place accept bitcoin. in big town many place accept bitcoin, but not at all.
