Gambling with friends is a different experience than gambling solo because it makes the sports betting experience a social and competitive game at the same time. I usually share a bet with friends on a match at the same time as another group of friends bet on the opposing team, and the enthusiasm increases. In my country, young people gather in cafes and share bets for fun, and some often place large bets.

It is one of the forms of positive use of the concept of gambling, as it increases the closeness of individuals and strengthens the bonds of friendship between them. I would prefer if all types of gambling games, including slot games, were played in this group way. This reduces the cost of bets distributed among participants and does not lead to addiction or excessive play.

It is not unusual for this situation to happen if you have some gambler friends. Because friends like to hang out in a common place. And if you have a gambler friend, there will be a chat about gambling. I had a few betting friends with whom I didn't bet together much at the same place. Because I have seen that where the number of people is high, there are conflicts arise about the rules and there is no positive environment for betting. I usually try to do my own research and betting. However, I observe the predictions or researches of others with my own criteria. If there is no such situation then gambling according to my own decision. I prefer gambling in noise free places which allow me to understand the betting info. But my experience in any such betting with friends is very less.

Actually it would really be just that depending on what kind of friend you do really have because not all friends would really be taking up seriously or would be making some arguments in the time that they would be losing up their bet against you. Although i do have that kind of experience with my friends that there would be some sort of argument but not on the time or moment that it would be ending up on a conflict.
Most of them are really that having that sportmanship or do really that easily accept their defeat. This is why we cant really be able to generalize up things basing up on what we do able to observe
in other situations.

If you do find out that your friend is something like this then it would be wise on trying out to avoid things. Just like you've said that if you dont like for those relationship to be not shattered
then it would be wise that you should really be avoid it at all cost.

One thing I don't do is playing bet against my friends and I would advice everyone not to engage in such, it's a silly thing to do by engaging in it, it can shatter your relationship relationship with your friends and if it doesn't then you would be sentimental about the bet.

Although I engaging in playing same bet as my friends, I have a friend who is great in sport betting and I do get games from him which I stake on

If you choose to place different bets with your friends, of course the results you will get will be different, you may win or lose and it would be better for us to have different bets with friends when placing bets because if we lose, of course there is still hope. our friend wins the bet, but if we have friends who force us to bet while they don't have the money to bet, of course this will be very detrimental to us and it would be better when we want to bet to avoid them so that we can place a bet according to our wishes. not with suggestions from our friends who just want to place a bet but don't have the capital to bet.

We all can agree that gambling is all about betting with the money you can afford to lose, if you don't have the mind to let' go of the money, why gamble it in the first place? You will definitely be emotional when you lose amount that you need and depression is unavoidable if you don't have the means to make another one, this is why you should never even try gambling if you can't let go of that money.



Whether you involved your friends or you are just a solo gambler, if you used the money you cannot afford to lose, you will cry alone when your friends are not with you. You can't bet your school fees with your rich friends and you think you will have a rest of mind? You can't because the risk is high. I rarely placed bets with friends. Symbolic amounts just to follow and support a certain event/player/team.

When we Play games with friends without any elements of gambling such betting on the games or Staking whatever on the games outcome is when the game becomes fun, since there will be absence of greed at some point and also the need to play with casual mindsets.


But once we stake any amount on the games results, such as what we normally do with the cards games where some people put money down on the games outcome, that point it becomes full blown gambling with greed which takes away fun from that activities and at that point I don't encourage friends to involve in such.

The experience of participating in the same bet with friends will definitely be good. Everyone's experience in betting is not the same if you have a few friends and everyone knows the rules then there will be no stress while betting. If we friends participate in the same bet then our relationship will be good and we will gain some experience. If three or four friends bet together, everyone will not lose one will definitely win. Betting in this way will not create any pressure in the person and everyone will enjoy but for this the money limit should be small.

Yes, I have the same experience as you when I playing gambling with my friends. We have a good times together playing gambling in the same table and enjoy our cola. That makes us relaxed and enjoy the moment without thinks about other things that makes us busy. We don't feels pressure each other because we knows that we used our spare time together playing gambling, although we play different gambling games. But sometimes we place a bet in the same teams because in my friends circle, we have three friends that knows about many teams better than the other friends. We can win many times but we always place the bet with the money we can afford. We never try to breaks our rules and always remind each other because we don't wants to see addiction comes to us.

In this situation, if one person loses, everyone loses, so there is nothing to gain. But what I have tried to focus when I lose a bet myself, I feel like maybe I didn't do good research or decision making that I regret. When at the same time we lost the bet after consulting friends, there were other friends like me who had wrong idea or our research was wrong due to which we lost that bet. At that moment  we can become more aware of our mistakes. Also, when I place a bet I fell i don't get it back so that I don't have to regret later. But when I bet with friends I feel quite comfortable to bet in a festive atmosphere which gives me great pleasure at times.

i'm not interested in taking a bet, together with my friend, because i think that if i take the same bet as he took, then we will most likely lose/win together. but if i take a bet myself, there is a possibility that the outcome of my bet will be different from that of my friends, and when i win maybe i will treat them to a drink or have fun.

I think so, yes. Although the result in one's funds is basically the same, there is a social stigma too attached to being a loser, which seems to be smaller if you share the loss with others. At least, you are not worse than them.

Yes I have had such feeling severally. I must confess playing thesame games can be exciting and also confusing sometimes. It is good when there is a collective ideas or effort and suggestion between friends. If the game has won, you all will jubilate over the wining with several agument of who suggestion is more real than the others. But bad when there is lost, because there will be also several aguements of who caused or suggested the match that made them loose.

I think most people who gamble with their friends will definitely feel the same way as you said OP, meaning that at least there will definitely be an exchange of opinions before making a decision which makes you confused about whether to follow your own decision or follow the advice of your friends, but In my opinion this depends on what type of gambling you do, if for example you gamble on a type of sports betting where you can make decisions based on a team's track record then I think your friends will also agree with your decision because there is a track record basis that can is used as a fairly reliable reference, whereas if for example you gamble on a type of gambling that purely depends on luck, then in my opinion this is where the exchange of opinions, which sometimes involves selfish feelings, will play a role between you and your friends, where differences in feelings will become the basis for the exchange of opinions.

But I think overall, if for example you gamble using your own money without involving money from other people, including your friends, then in my opinion everything depends on you or what I mean is up to you, if for example there is a difference of opinion then you should choose to bet according to your feelings and opinions. You are on your own because still the results at the end of the session will never be known and the point is that you might be luckier than following the opinion suggested by your friend.

There are people who prefer to be solo gamblers,  they do better gambling alone and they can take care of themselves no matter the outcome of their gamble. There are still people who enjoy  gambling in the company of friends. They do not just enjoy it, they also feel safer gambling with friends as friends are always there to protect and lift their mood in case of losses. Everyone knows what works best for them and where they can strive better, it is best everyone sticks to what they are comfortable with.

I belong to the class of people who enjoy gambling in the company of friends, especially when it involves sports. I enjoy analysing games and arguing about the possible outcome of the games. Such outings are fun and there are never moments to feel moody about losses if they arise. I gamble alone too but gambling with friends around is more fun.

Yes, winning something together with friends will certainly be more fun and when we lose with the same bet it can also ease a bit of our disappointment, because we are not alone on that.
But when the bet is lost or when we bet on a different team in one match, there is a chance that we can blame each other and this can cause quarrels with friends.
