i'm not interested in taking a bet, together with my friend, because i think that if i take the same bet as he took, then we will most likely lose/win together. but if i take a bet myself, there is a possibility that the outcome of my bet will be different from that of my friends, and when i win maybe i will treat them to a drink or have fun.

moreover, my relationship with my friends is quite normal, so whatever bet i take, they will definitely respect it and there is no pressure in our circle, so everyone is free to bet.

I think so, yes. Although the result in one's funds is basically the same, there is a social stigma too attached to being a loser, which seems to be smaller if you share the loss with others. At least, you are not worse than them.

Although it can be positive to gamble with friends, choosing the right ones is key.

Yes I have had such feeling severally. I must confess playing thesame games can be exciting and also confusing sometimes. It is good when there is a collective ideas or effort and suggestion between friends. If the game has won, you all will jubilate over the wining with several agument of who suggestion is more real than the others. But bad when there is lost, because there will be also several aguements of who caused or suggested the match that made them loose.

I think most people who gamble with their friends will definitely feel the same way as you said OP, meaning that at least there will definitely be an exchange of opinions before making a decision which makes you confused about whether to follow your own decision or follow the advice of your friends, but In my opinion this depends on what type of gambling you do, if for example you gamble on a type of sports betting where you can make decisions based on a team's track record then I think your friends will also agree with your decision because there is a track record basis that can is used as a fairly reliable reference, whereas if for example you gamble on a type of gambling that purely depends on luck, then in my opinion this is where the exchange of opinions, which sometimes involves selfish feelings, will play a role between you and your friends, where differences in feelings will become the basis for the exchange of opinions.

But I think overall, if for example you gamble using your own money without involving money from other people, including your friends, then in my opinion everything depends on you or what I mean is up to you, if for example there is a difference of opinion then you should choose to bet according to your feelings and opinions. You are on your own because still the results at the end of the session will never be known and the point is that you might be luckier than following the opinion suggested by your friend.

There are people who prefer to be solo gamblers,  they do better gambling alone and they can take care of themselves no matter the outcome of their gamble. There are still people who enjoy  gambling in the company of friends. They do not just enjoy it, they also feel safer gambling with friends as friends are always there to protect and lift their mood in case of losses. Everyone knows what works best for them and where they can strive better, it is best everyone sticks to what they are comfortable with.

I belong to the class of people who enjoy gambling in the company of friends, especially when it involves sports. I enjoy analysing games and arguing about the possible outcome of the games. Such outings are fun and there are never moments to feel moody about losses if they arise. I gamble alone too but gambling with friends around is more fun.

Yes, winning something together with friends will certainly be more fun and when we lose with the same bet it can also ease a bit of our disappointment, because we are not alone on that.
But when the bet is lost or when we bet on a different team in one match, there is a chance that we can blame each other and this can cause quarrels with friends.
Its okay to bet together with friends, but its not wise if you do it continuously.

the reduction in pressure may be due to the situation you get from a place where you play with your friends which is quite comfortable. it must be because the situation is quite entertaining for you when you experience defeat and it reduces the pressure of defeat that you receive.
In other cases, if a gambler plays alone and loses the game, he may do something negative, such as destroying the device or damaging something around him. I have a friend who is a gambler like that. So the role of friends around us can lighten the atmosphere so that it doesn't put too much pressure on you.

But I personally prefer to play alone, even though I sometimes join in with friends who gamble. but I always avoid playing with friends around.

I feel more confident and less stress betting with friends on the same pick. However, I will not just follow blindly, betting with friends is fun as you'll think that the pick was carefully analyze, more heads are better than one as they say, so it's expected that the winning chance is highter.

I also bet against friends, but it was just a friendly bet so it doesn't need to be a serious amount of money, when I feel serious with betting, I just make sure I bet it online, at least no feelings involve and if I win I won't hurt anyone's feelings.

I guess every gamblers always feel bad whenever they experienced lost from their gambling at the moment and, whenever I experience lost from a particular bet I played privately and, it use to change my mood through out the day which nobody at home will know because I don't use to gamble im public.

I hard such story from one of my friends in those days in school and whenever she lost huge amount of money in gambling, she will be comfortable to say it to people in a week later based on she use to gamble where her friends will give her some words of encouragement that will make her not to worry too much about the lost.

I have experienced shared betting with my friends and the feeling was a bit weird; we happened to win 2/5 games and obviously, we suffered from loss. But since it is a shared bet, the amount wasn't that big individually. Also, the idea of we all lost, ease the negative emotion after losing our wagers. I still managed to enjoy things that time simply because we shared laughter on that betting session as we often call it. It just didn't happen again becaause of our conflict with schedule.

However, it would be normal to have feelings of regrets and such in both winning and loaing bet. There will always be that thought of 'I should have bet alone' especially if your personal bet guess happened to be the winning one but majority's decision should be followed. However, that's the idea already; if it happened to be a winning bet then you'd celebrate with them. Losing will always be a part of our gambling journey and we should accept any outcome. This depends on what kind of an individual you are and how you percieve gambling as an activity.

I never gamble with my friends even though they are a lot of gamblers. I never bet on the same bets because just us being friends doesn't mean we have to share the same losses. I prefer to gamble at home alone rather than with my friends because my friends often borrow money. money to me so I never gambled with my friends since then even though we were friends but when gambling we had different views when gambling was never the same and I also never followed them.

That doesn't mean I ignore my friends but on the one hand sometimes we need to bet normally as usual instead of having to gamble feeling the same defeat and making the atmosphere worse even though in other people's eyes losing with friends is fun but for me no, I'm not that person. who are happy like that because our experiences are definitely different when gambling, there are those who gamble for money and there are those who gamble for entertainment like me, so when I lose I never try to gamble again while my friends will definitely force me to gamble again with my money, The point is that gambling alone is better than gambling with my friends. lol  

Totally strengthens specially if you are someone whose been with you for long or simply with your bestfriend and betting in together will really be something enjoyable and giving up that kind of boost up.
Things turns out to be sour on the time that both of you would really be experiencing loses on which it would be depending whether the mood of both of you would changed up or would really be just that simply moving on since you are already wary on the thing that could really happen. We do know that when it comes to gambling then this something that could bring us some fun on which it would be that understandable.

It would really be just that depending on someone on which one would really be something that would be entertaining for them whether they do go solo or with friends.
There are people who do wants or likes to have with friends and there are ones who do go solo.

I tried it only twice, and I found it enjoyable, it strengthens your friendships but I cannot do it many times and a long time when you're playing with your friends you are limited on what you can show, you cannot bet more than what all your friends are doing.
If you are a big bettor and your friends can't keep up, there will be disagreement it's like you want to brag that you can bet higher than your friends, or if you win a huge amount of money you are obligated to share a portion of your earnings.
There are times that it is enjoyable to play with your friends but most of the time you want to play alone and go at your own pace and think of your strategy to enjoy and win.

I have experienced placing bets with my friends and everything is fun and there's no pressure involved as long as you think it's all about having fun but when you're with your friends you should not indulge too much, you should not show them that you are a big bettor or try to show off that you can big bettor.

The only difference between betting alone and betting with friends is there is no pressure to win and you can accept your losses more because you are not the only one who loses.

But I don't want to bet with my friends all the time, there are some habits that you don't want to show when you are betting that you alone should know one of these is how you hate yourself when you are losing, you don't want your friends to hear cursing yourself.

Gambling in order to get rich is already a big mistake here, regardless you gamble alone, with friends, with parents or with pastor, the result is same.

People gamble with friends are either like your second reason or they're want to build relationships. Probably they will able to make new friends, get a better job, get a new knowledge, learn communication skill etc. Relation is really important nowadays.

I have a gambling buddy back in college and we are dominating the local gambling that called Heads and Tails , we are playing together joining our money and yes we are winning and losing together .
so what you are asking is common feeling from my end and that is until now that I am not playing with friends instead i play with my wife.

Gambling with friend is more entertaining and funky than when I gamble alone. This reason is that I don't just enjoy the game but I also enjoy the company and social life during that period. I love chilling in the eveni g with my friends on weekends drink g and watching the match which we placed our bets on.

Sometimes, we don't bet on the same club, and whenever the club I bet on score, I will laugh at them and we would conclude by saying it is not yet over until it is over. While sometimes we do the analysis of that match together, and bet on the same club. It makes me feel more lively, and I would not mind if I lose. This also helps us from encouraging one another to only gamble with little amount of money.

If you think that gambling is a cash cow and you cannot address or accept losing then gambling is not for you and you should look for other platforms that will let you win and make money which I doubt if you can find one.
If losing becomes depressing for you then you are not playing money that you can't and you expect to make money from your bets.

Whether you are with or without your friends when betting you should always accept the outcome winning and losing is natural and expected on gambling if your losses and winnings do not have big different in gaps then you are lucky, so many gamblers winnings are rare to come.

I have a few friends and they hardly gamble. They don't know that I gamble always because I gamble when I am on my cell phone and if I don't tell you, they won't even know whether I gamble or not. And the kind of guy I am, I even prefer to gamble alone, when I lose, I know it is on me. A lot of people are bad when it comes to prediction and they will want to give you a code. I am not usually interested in stuff like that. The reason I don't want to expose my gambling habit is that they will want to discourage me from gambling. and I don't need bad energy when I am gambling. I always try as much as possible to be positive, and even when I don't win, I will be there next time.

Gambling alone is peaceful, gambling with friends should be peaceful too but unfortunately, we are all different, there are many types of friends in the world, and you can only know if they are true friends or not when money is involved, true color are mostly revealed when its all about the money.

Some friends will turn enemy when they gamble, because one loses money that he isn't ready to lose, I am a living witness to this, and they hate for a while but later they get along again, but why the fight if all they seek for was fun?

Definitely, they wanted to make money among themselves, and anyone who losses will surely not be in a good mood, imagine robbing your friends of their good mood because of gambling? This is why I don't encourage it, unless you are certain about the company you keep.
