Where I live bitcoin still has a lot of work to do.
Just recently I talked to a few people who have never even heard about bitcoin or crypto currency in general.
Ok, those guys usually earn their money with plants, but all have computer, tv and smartphone.
There are still so many people out there who could become a fan of bitcoin if they just would be reached.

Honestly i am not sure if how bitcoin is popular in my country but the promotion about bitcoin here is fast and growing almost any local forum here in my country are talking about bitcoin.. so i think we are many using bitcoin and its popular here in my country but we are just few users here..
the most important is the promotion process and introduces bitcoin quickly. it can attract new users so that they are interested in using bitcoin.If bitcoin gets support from media then it can be reached to the people very easily and it can become popular in quick time but I don't see it happening soon.

media or if we can see a advertise in television internet in social media and blogs then i know that the population of bitcoin will getting higher and higher if we say that someone saw a bitcoin advetise in TV then we could say that they will try it because they are curious about it. 
There was a little bit of interest starting to take hold here last year but things have been very quite for 2016.
Hoping bitcoin makes a big comeback here in 2017, i will be spreading the word as much as i can to those that will listen.

People constanly say my country this, and my country that, but it would be nice to hear what country they are from. That would give a good impression of where you people are coming from and how the situation is there according to you guys.
Bitcoin is not at all popular in my county as no one is aware about it yet and I think it will take long time for people to know it and start using it as a currency and also as an investment.
Surprisingly it has some base in my country, I already know there are at least few thousands from facebook groups which is a pretty decent number for a third-world country with not much interest in the technical aspect, nothing physical or the like though.

It aint popular. I dont see it everyday. That is how I rank popularity by things. Malls, the bus or trains I dont see a lot of people busy with trading or something else. Sometimes I spy with their phones and nothing. Just facebook everyday.
Sad but soon bitcoin will be popular in your country like in my country it ain't that popular too then one day we also had almost 24k members who are using bitcoin so far and starting trading few of them and few of them are investing bitcoins into ico

They think that it is just another scam invesment or a pyramid scam just like the old ones. We cant blame them if it is already marked in their minds.

In my country, has not been widely used in daily activity. And many of them who know and have btc spend for invest in hyip or ponzi scam.
it's bad some people still trust hyip and the problem they are invest using bitcoin so when they get scam will tell to anyone "bitcoin is scam".yeah, problem from the people using, not from bitcoin.
Yes, some people use this terms against bitcoin if they are lost on gambling or any investment or being scammed by someone then they hate bitcoin and call it a scam which somehow give negative reputation on bitcoin thats why some people would hear about that would definitely refuse bitcoin. Here in my country bitcoins adoption is increasing.

yeah there are not a lot of people with bitcoins in my country, to be honest bitcoins are not that popular in my country 
bitcoin is very popular in my country. today many merchants who accept bitcoin as a medium of payment. even some large companies already recognize bitcoin.

The people in my country are already using their local currency and do not use US for their use but only for international use and when they will know about bitcoin the definitely they will replace USD with bitcoin.
in my country people have always used the official currency and nothing else, though it would be better if they used bitcoinsThey have used official currency or govt. based currency because they are threatened about new currencies that open doors of new excitement and earning opportunity, the problem is that people have to themselves change their stubborn thoughts and start using something new that is bringing a revolution.
