BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
I believe that everyone wants to earn immediately but crypto doesn't have that "easy" features, you still have to work hard.
As a starter, investing in Bitcoin is the easiest and the best thing to do. In fact, this is the most common way of earning but must be sure that you can also manage to hold, or else, earning a profit is impossible. Why? It is because we have to understand that prices won't just pump after you buy them, you will be lucky of does but to tell you that it usually takes several times to increase especially if you are buying like this time.
It is true that many people wants to earn immediately they join the crypto space. No matter how long we preach, there is joy in earning and it is one of the factors that motivate newbies to keep learning, investing and improving. But then if a newbie wants to earn before learning, I am afraid they will fail and if they earn, their earnings will be for a short period of time.
Investing in Bitcoin is easy, but the aftermath (which is patience, risk management etc). If a newbie understands this, their winnings will be greater than their loses.

You can consider trading also but this is too risky and not suitable for your position as a newbie. You can learn this somehow but never expect the results will be good, losses are very possible.
Learning trading is good. It is advisable that after a newbie invests in bitcoin, they should spare some bucks to learn trading. It may help in the future.

As a newbie, it's wise to start with a small investment that you can afford to lose. Cryptocurrency markets can be highly volatile, and prices can change rapidly. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. To buy and sell, or trade cryptocurrencies, you'll need to use a cryptocurrency exchange. Choose a well-known and reputable exchange with a user-friendly interface. Some popular exchanges include Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, and Bitfinex.
Moreover, Some cryptocurrencies offer staking, where you hold and lock up your tokens in a wallet to support the network's operations. In return, you earn rewards in the form of more cryptocurrency. Yield farming involves providing liquidity to decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols in exchange for interest or rewards.
Moreover, Participate in Airdrops and Giveaways: Occasionally, new projects distribute free tokens to holders of a specific cryptocurrency. Keep an eye out for legitimate airdrops and giveaways, but be cautious of scams.! So be careful!

As you've said, trading is hard and you'll have hard time dealing with it being unstable. You still have some other choice and one and the best way is to get employed and be part of a company that will pay you in crypto. There are too many of them and you can check each opening from websites like these;

For sure that the listed companies there and if fortunate enough that you'll be hired, they'll pay crypto of your choice or they prefer for sure. It's just a matter of what foundation you've got already or just apply on those job openings that are great for starters.

So from there when you're employed and getting paid with crypto, that's when you continue and go back to your trading thoughts for which it will help you sustain and gain more experience from it.

Hello Mates, I wish to venture into trading but I'm just being mindful of the current market situation. Looking at the market, I see instability.

I wish to get the needed guide on how and when to start trading Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies inorder to make some profits to settle some of my needs. I appreciate you all for your kind response in advance.

Learn how to trade, start small, and gradually increase your funds once you feel you have figured out how to be profitable and consistent. The market remains volatile, whether we are in a bullish or bearish trend, so you can still trade as long as you have a working method to follow.

No one achieves overnight success as a trader; we all start from the very beginning, and as newcomers, we make mistakes most of the time. However, what's important is that we learn from those mistakes, and that will help us improve as traders. Actually, it's not hard to start if you understand the risks and know how to manage them. Your mindset should be focused on long-term success, not short-term.

To begin cryptocurrency I would advice you begin investing in Bitcoin,XRP, Ethereum . Endeavor to gather sufficient knowledge about crypto . You can follow top crypto traders with good experience on their social media platform where you can ask questions about what you're investing in . Also make sure you have a good strategy before starting. Wish you all the best 🙌

If you have some spare money you can just buy Bitcoin and wait for a bull run, easiest thing to do. Or if you know how to trade, reading chart and signal, analyzing some news and fundamental you can daily trade some altcoins. If you really don't have any money to buy crypto you can search for airdrop, but it will be a lot time and energy consuming, and finding a good altcoin airdrop is like looking for a single needle when the whole world is covered in haystack. In this forum you can join some bounty campaign, but you need to rank up first.

Good thing you mentioned Bitcoin as your focus so I want to tell you that you will not be making a wrong decision buying Bitcoin even as a beginner.
It is actually not as simple as you think. Even it is quite safe to invest in Bitcoin, a beginner must understand how to invest in Bitcoin properly. They must know when the right time to buy (entry), when to sell (exit), and how to keep their motivation for holding it a long time (strong mentality).  Without these crucial things, a beginner may quit soon when they hear huge FUDs spreading constantly. He/she also won't be patient enough to see the dumps on the price.

Bitcoin is very cheap now compared to where it will be in few months time.
The price is a bit higher now although it is still below $30k. The cheapest price was in 2022, it is the best time to buy (entry).

If you have been paying attention, you would have heard that Bitcoin halving is happening next year. Anytime that happens, Bitcoin always achieve a new all time high. So, if you have some money to invest, consider Bitcoin.
Always remember that crypto price is unpredictable, that's why investing in crypto is high risk.
Although there will be Bitcoin halving, it doesn't guarantee that Bitcoin will achieve a new ATH. It may be very potential if we learn the price history, but no one can guarantee it. The demand on the market is always unpredictable, so anyone who want to invest must understand the risks first. And don't forget do it with own risk (DWYOR)!! No guarantee for profits!!

Beginners are not supposed to trade and earn from crypto, since they should focus more on maximizing their learning and honing their skills as well. Maybe if they become more exposed to the market and have learned a lot from other’s experiences in trading and investing, they can start trading on their own with a little amount at first. But they should remember that trading will eventually make them lose, so they should not fear losing from it but instead make them as a motivation to learn and improve their abilities and skills with trading.

This is one of the mistake people make in this forum and even in crypto. They join crypto and this forum because they want to earn instantly. I was not an exception when I joined too because a friend introduced me to the forum to come and partake in bounty so as to make money. Thank God after sometimes I discovered the forum isn't for bounty alone but contain some content that can help you grow in the crypto space. I decided to learn and I'm still learning till date. OP, to earn from crypto especially using this forum, you have to learn first. It a gradual process. After learning you can easily write good post to rank up and with this you can easily earn through signature campaign.
I appreciate your boldness to quit the bounty business in order to gain knowledge of the bitcoin. One  thing I have noticed about so many bounty hunters is, once they are into bounty the money they generate from there tends to trap them in the bounty business for so long. It takes decision and discipline to withdraw from bounty when you are deeply into it.

Meanwhile, many newbies like succes but they chase it in the shortest way. A few of them who are smart and lucky scale through whie the majority likely get tired and quit.

I can advise you to start trading when you're ready and have the best satisfactory knowledge required to begin, i will also discourage you from making additional cryptocurrencies to your trading experience being a newbie, start with bitcoin only.

As a newbie interested in trading Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, understanding the financial aspects involved is critical. While there is no set amount required to begin trading, numerous aspects must be considered to develop an appropriate budget.Trading cryptocurrencies entails risk,  as with any other form of investing you will experience losses as well as successes, and reversals of fortune can occur at lightning-speed on the volatile crypto markets. The amount you earn will obviously depend on the amount you invest, the coins you invest in and the strategy you use.

Looking for gigs
There are some ways that you can earn your very first cryptocurrency as a starter if you don’t have any funds to invest yet.

I would like to share some ways that you can start aside from just buy and hold and trading:

1) Apply for remote work in a crypto-related company (especially paying you in crypto)

The easiest you can apply as a starter with or without experience are brand ambassadors, community moderators, community managers, customer support, etc.

2) Offer your services and accepting crypto as payment option

If you have certain skills like article writing, video editing, graphic designing, developing Dapps, etc., you can make a portfolio about it and present it to your clients who are looking for such services and prefers crypto payment.

3) Affiliate, reseller and referral programs

As an affiliate, you mainly promote their product or service to the customers in exchange of getting paid in commissions by means of crypto payment. Referral programs is where you can get commissions from the ones you referred who either completed certain tasks, converting sales, trading volume, etc.

Let’s say you have referred someone to sign up under you in Binance. You will get commissions from that person for every trade regardless of the coin or token.

4) Joining AMAs and giveaways

There are many AMA and giveaway events in crypto nowadays until now. You can find them mostly in Twitter (X.com), Taskon.xyz, Galxe, etc.

5) Apply as scholar or rent NFTs in Web3 games

If you can’t afford to buy a single NFT in-game, you can always apply for scholarship or rent NFTs from the owners in exchange of earning a portion of their profits in crypto. Games like Axie Infinity, Spider Tanks, Gods Unchained, Splinterlands, etc., are some of the examples.

6) Incentivized testnets

So far this is the “trend” of earning cryptos by just simply an early adopter by interacting in their testnet before the mainnet will launch. Basically you will be receiving crypto airdrops from them for just participating in their incentivized testnet campaigns.

Some of the testnets that are having ongoing campaigns now are Venom Wallet, Fuel Wallet, Scroll Alpha, Shardeum, Taiko, etc. You can hunt them mostly on Twitter (X.com), Galxe, Zealy, Taskon.xyz, etc.

Hope this helps you a bit to kickstart your crypto journey from scratch. Good luck!

Buy bitcoin and hold it, it's good enough for beginners. However beginners should also consider that holding long term will not give instant income. If you want instant income, you need skills in several fields that you can promote on the Marketplace Service. You will be needed if your skills meet the criteria. or develop an account and become an active contributor in the forum, then it will be quite easy to earn from signature campaigns.

Trading is hard and is not advisable for newbies in the forum. Instead, acquire knowledge and variety of skills at first so you will know if trading will perfectly fit for you or you will try first the less risk activity which is investing. However, make sure that before you invest, know your coins first and understand what you are investing in the first place. Having such investments even if you hold them for long term may not always be in profits. You have to understand the market first before you decide if you will still pursue in trading or investing. At least be prepared for losses in either way.

I have seen many people who are not very good at something but earn a lot and can't do anything permanent, after a few days they find that they have lost their way of income and many are depressed afterward, so I think First is to master any skill very well and then start working on it. The most pressing problem is to find the right guidelines now and continue to work within them, which will provide us with long-lasting performance in the future.
How can people earn a lot if they're not quite good on it? Do they gamble?
As far as I know, someone needs to have good capability to do something if he/she wants to earn proper money. The money to get should depend on how good our capability. If we have lack of skills, we must get smaller money. But if we are skillful, we have a chance to earn bigger money. That's why we need to improve our skills continuously, to create a chance for bigger earning. People often stated to the starters or beginners that : to earn a lot we must learn a lot as well.
