To protect yourself in bitcoin, I suggest you don't easily click at links, because there are a lot of phishing sites. Do not post your private address or password in your social media sites. Do not trust anyone with your password and to add more security you should install anti malware, anti virus softwares. You also have a choice to use hardware wallets because it is much safer.
Bitcoin users need to stop being so clueless, some have fortunes stored in their computers and yet they do not take a single measure to protect their bitcoin they keep clicking in everything they see, and they do not encrypt their wallets some even download pirated stuff which is known to contain malware, so if you are going to hold bitcoin in your computer your habits need to change.

First thing to remember to avoid being a victim of hackers is, don't trust people easily, maybe you gave them some infos about your account or something, and regarding the victims wallet, I think Exodus is a secured wallet, he maybe a victim of phishing sites, to avoid that always check the URL of the page you are visiting, example, if you go in to a certain site and the name is spelled wrong, or the URL is like an IP address ex. 192.168.23.0 or something like that dont continue loging in, and dont give any information specially your user name and password or just your email. You can always check the beginners guide for more information about security. And also lastly if you are going to pay btc it's more secured to use escrow.

Bitcoin is actually secure for me unless you are careless. Try to set your passcode into a good and difficult one. It is harder for hackers to access your account with that way. Also, If you could keep your passcode in a safe place in your phone or pc, do it. I hide my passcode without giving anyone a hint that it is my passcode. Also, getting a hardware wallet will give you assurance that no one can hack your account. It is always safe in hard wallet because they requires you to enter private key.

First like people say here, never trust anyone
Keep your private key safe
Always backup
Use an offline wallet
Never leave your btc/coins on an exchange site
Avoid browsing shady website
Always have anti virus and the likes in your computer

Just yesterday I come across one youtuber where he says
he just wake up and saw his 50 btc was vanish from his exodus wallet  and also before that another 20 btc was vanish
he says he dont even know how this happen.

pls how can I escape this.
The simplest way to achieve this is to get a hardware wallet, hardware wallets are safe and will be offline so there is not a chance for hackers stealing your bitcoin and if for some reason someone steals your hardware wallet you can recreate it and then send your coins to another address.

Does anyone here use streaming sites or watch porn on their computer that have their wallets?

Would that mean if you do any of that, make sure you get a different computer?  Thus the computer that you have your wallets, just make sure you don't visit dangerous sites on it etc?

The revolution will be monetized!
I think i can protect myself from being hack just to dont sen my private key just keep it secret and private from anyone

That is the most important thing. As long as you are the sole owner of a private key, then you are the only one who can move the associated bitcoin.

For you to protect yourself or your wallet rather from hackers then make sure to check the reviews of the wallet you are using. If cold storage is what you are using, always check and protect your pc, if its safe from being hacked. There are many ways for that, do a search, with this hopefully you wont experience hack.  Smiley Wink

You can take all protection like using physical wallets but there is no 1005 guarantee still. You cannot control everything.

You can protect yourself from being hack of your bitcoin by securing it and just don't trust other and don't easily get confused on what others suggest to you. Just like on your private key you need to protect it or hide it on others. Your wallets you just need also to secure it because hackers can easily hack it.

Don't trust any sites that is asking for your accounts password,  specially passwords for accounts containing cash.  Often change your password, if not always check your account for anomallies. Make sure no one knows your account except you. And beware of phising sites.

I can give you a few tips to avoid hackers bitcoin I think you should keep your password secret and do not tell anyone even the ones. Avoid logging in to non-originating websites that may be virtual sites to trick your money. Hacker may ask you to login password if you login, you will lose wallet.

All you have to do is create a very good passwords for your accounts. Make sure your accounts are protected and the device you are using is exclusive for you only so that no one can see through your accounts.

My suggestions to protection of our bitcoin from the hand of hackers are don't trust to others especially for those who are the untrusted people, don't tell and share your account and password to unknown people, make your own password with your gadget to the protection of your account and wallet, change your private key once a week and don't share any links and website in social media.
