Personally I would much prefer the restrictions currently in place on new posts.
Otherwise the forums here would turn into a mass of spam from advertisers trying to sell everything from shaving cram to viagra.
A quick look at other less well policed forums makes the minor restrictions here well worth the short wait.

Newbie Restrictions
You can only post in the Newbie and Local sub-forums till you have made one post and waited 4 hours. This post must be substantial: at least several sentences. The other two restrictions are you need 1 post to be able to send a PM and 10 posts to put a link in your sig. You can only post once every 360 seconds to start and there are a few other things that trigger this timer such as logging in and searching.
Seems pretty straightforward and I agree with the reasoning.

Rather here then on the rest of the site. A lot of spam fagz will give up due to the effort. Can you imagine what it would be like if it was open season like on youtube comments or tpb?

I guess if you post in noobie-jail it wount display until the 4h are up?
Do rare coins like frozen coin which have max coin of about 7mill tend to have high values or is it just random?

Quite some hassle only to contribute to some users on the forums. Hopefully ill get promoted soon too
