Well for one they need them to be crypto users. And what would be the easiest way to garner people who use crypto? In countries that don't have crypto banned. Pair that up with countries that have the gambling industry well established and you can have a simple metric of where they should concentrate their marketing tactics. For specifics it can vary from casino to casino since it depends on the level of the company. For example, is how Stake was able to provide adverts for big tournaments and stuff like that. For smaller companies though, it may vary from streamer sponsorships, facebook groups/advertisements, and similar level stuff.

As for efficiency, only they can know really. But I think you can make an educated guess based on how successful they are from the time they launched the casino up to now.

Based on how booming right now.

IMO, (CASINO) especially online right now are trying to get as much sector they can. Remember, most of streamer who are doing gambler-streaming before that is a gamers. That's mean, their target is not really limited.

They even chase people who are streaming game, and do the deal to stream gambling.

I have seen websites spamming google with strong links and all. Is spamming the only way? any example of successfully running crypto gambling site to do research on?
Not sure what you're referring to here, to be honest. Are you talking about Google ads, or websites putting as many interesting keywords so their SEO result is much higher on Google search results even though they don't really talk about it? If it is the latter, I've never seen a crypto service do that recently. Marketing by nature is just giving as much presence as possible on many media, I wouldn't call it spam if they just blast you with ads unless it is very intrusive or violates our privacy. Buying an ad slot for the Google ads search result is not the same as sending multiple ad e-mails about one topic within a short time frame, for example. CMIIW.

The casino targets everyone who sees and is interested in its promotions and attracts them all by providing promotions to get them to come to the casino. Crypto casinos are no different. Crypto casinos want to get new customers by creating attractive promotions. Crypto casinos have managed to attract people's interest.

If you ask about how efficient it is, only the crypto casino knows. They can see how efficient it is because they have the data. But so far, many crypto casinos are still operating, which shows the promotions they carry out are still efficient. They can run their marketing well.

And with the growing popularity of crypto casinos, people are trying to gamble at crypto casinos. They want to experience gambling using crypto because maybe they are used to gambling with fiat. The important thing is that the casino can promote its casino in countries that allow gambling even though there are people from countries that prohibit gambling who also want to gamble.

With social media it's possible to market anything this days, the most effective is having your audience watch you through streaming and see you make some money, while accessing and gambling on the website, there is no doubt that this market strategy will effectively caught the attention of many people, as seeing is believing.

Many influencers are also getting paid a lot to advertise a casino, I heard they are paid a lot to shill casinos, this is a bit different from streamers.

Today casinos still run ads too, there are websites that if you open them the casino banners will display, and also members on this forum do promote casinos too, I am one of the and as you can see I am currently promoting JustCasino.

With social media being powerful right now, casino games or casino websites' main way to advertise their website or app is through social media and websites. As you can notice, most of the videos or advertisements on social media are from casinos, and now a days even those below legal age have their own social media accounts, so they can see these ads and be a player or customer on a casino app or website.

Not just through advertising, many influencers are promoting casino websites and casino apps in their videos, as some of their videos are sponsored by a specific casino platform. You see, the internet and social media are very powerful these days; everything can be spread rapidly through that platform, so it's easy for any establishment, website, or app to flag their products and services. The sad part is that even a young person can be influenced by or have an idea about gambling as early as their age.

Most of the forum members here are gamblers, not marketing experts. Grin Maybe you should ask someone, who is running the marketing campaigns of the casinos, that have sig campaigns on the forum.
I can assume that their target audience is men, age 20-65, the target country must be somewhere in North America, Europe or Asia.
I don't think that most of the nerds are active gamblers. Maybe there are some nerdy/geeky gamblers here and there. Grin
The safest bet, when promoting a crypto casino is probably creating a signature campaign on Bitcointalk.org. Maybe some crypto casinos are being promoted on Telegram and Discord, but I'm not an active user of these platforms.

The main marketing strategy I see is attractive promotions. They make many attractive promotions and promote it all over the internet. Through these attractive promotions all age category people join the sites in the hope of making good money. I don’t think they categorise people and target them. Yes they might be targeting people who do online investments. That’s basically the golden rule to get targeted audience.

This is very simple if you ask me, cryptocurrency casinos target crypto holders, and it's mostly those from the age of 18 and above, since that is the normal and acceptable age range for gamblers.

Crypto casinos target both crypto holders and non crypto holders since some of them still allow fiat deposits and withdrawals alongside crypto, this is why we find many of them advertising on cryptocurrency forums like here(bitcointalk) and even on other platforms and social medias that is outside cryptocurrency, though casino advertisements are banned in some places or platforms, but there are still alot of places where casinos advertise their services like on cable TV, both crypto and non crypto websites and so on.

So, in conclusion, crypto casinos target both crypto and non crypto users, since a non crypto user who is a gambler can still decide to buy crypto for the sole purpose of gambling if he or she finds it very fascinating and wants to find out how it all works.

They target "gamblers" from all countries and of "legal" age. (Different for each individual country)

Some people think that they only target highrollers, but that is not true.... they target anyone who shows interrest in gambling, because they want their money.

They will obviously also target countries where online gambling are legal. Some unregulated (unlisenced) Crypto casinos will target anyone, because there are no cosequences for their actions.

How they do target? It would really be depending on what market they are based into.. Look at into this forum on which you do see that there are tons of signature campaigns that launched into this space on which
they would really be definitely be focusing their marketing on something which connects on what market they are really that belong into. If they would really be making out some marketing into those places on which its not really that relevant or connected on what they are offering then it would really be that useless and pointless or such a waste of budget. This is why they would really be planning it well and would really be
focusing into those mediums on which they would really be able to see that they could benefit out.

In every business whether online or offline  then it would really be just that in default that there would really be a marketing budget allocation on which it would really be
just that normal that you would really be that having that kind of consideration and they cant just shell out money for nothing which it isnt effective.

Why should they target nerds and dumbs? They are targeting gamblers of course. And there are many ways for crypto casinos and betting sites to promote their platforms. Just like fiat casinos, crypto casinos are also present on social media. They are also paying ads in different websites or forums like this one. They are also paying influencers, celebrities, and athletes for promotion. They are also sponsoring events. You can also see their brands on uniforms of teams in different sports and leagues. There are so many ways to promote a crypto casino.

And just so you know, crypto gamblers aren't nerds and dumbs.

The target is everyone , ages? who really care as long is they can deposit and play lol. while there
are written in Terms about the age but this is because they are being mandate by government but if they are
the one to decide?(gambling site) they care nothing as they are after the earning and not the players.

and about their marketing , it is depend in their budget and capacity to spend but the normal way
is to have advertising , from social media and other forms of internet but most crypto casino is trying to lure
their players here in Bitcointalk.org.

The target audience of the crypto casinos is the people from the Geos that are not restricted from the platform and the age group is mostly at least from 18years and above.

It is not the case with crypto casinos, some casinos restrict Thailand from their platform, and from experience, they are not focused on nerds or dumb people. The restriction is based on judicial regulations rule of the casino game provider and master license holder.

Casinos have their audience and those are reached on sites that are crypto friendly. Age is not just the target because we all know that majority of people who visit the internet are young people and they alongside potential fund raiser. So it is natural that casinos will throw their weight on crypto friendly sites especially bitcoin community and that is why this platform is the biggest of the bitcoin community. We have few social media that they also advertise their website like X but majorly they rely on crypto friendly sites.
Despite the fact that the gambling market is filled with young people and the age limit have not been really been fully implemented in some cases and the act of numerous under age gambling Which have lead to all t of crisis in the gambling space with high rate of negative outcomes which have been the most afflicted set of people in the gambling market, because most of the recent cases of addictions have been under age gamblers who have not attained the proper age to gamble or being able to manage what comes along with gambling at some point.

So if casinos will continue to target the young people, it will still results into alot of negative outcome in the future, unlike if they target on the older forks who have already retired age, because of the effects of gambling on younger people.

I am not expert on this but what I think you mean is about SEO and that's pretty normal for most of the businesses. Well, as for a casino that markets out and trying to fetch all the gamblers in the world, they have to do the necessary marketing to filter everyone that will see their ads or links.

any example of successfully running crypto gambling site to do research on?
You're already on the right section to see most of them and you can check each of the announcement thread here as many of the casinos here can be said successful or have a lot of gamblers.

It is no rocket science, I think.
Casinos which focu in offering crypto currency services are more inclined to target people who are obviously into Bitcoin and alternative currencies, so if I had to guess, I would say they focus on people between 21-35 year old, male and in countries where there are more likely to have enough spare time to wager money.
If in the country they are advertising in, that group of people, within that same range are mostly unmarried and still able to make money off a regular job, then it would be even better for the casinos.

In general, Bitcoin casinos do not seem to care much on focusing their advertisement outside of the internet, because they are aware the competence with brick and mortar casinos can be big, and also because anyone who is into Bitcoin and alternative coins are usually quite savvy with the management of internet and social media as a whole.

The world of advertisement is more complex than we all believe, though, but I believe those are part of a sample of the basic things the casinos keep in mind.

it doesn't have to be a special marketing strategy - people love to try out new things and they'll definitely wanna try to wager on crypto games, no matter what it takes...

it gives a different platform for improvisation and prunes crypto enthusiasts into finding comfort in wagering on such platforms... I've seen cases that peeps get registered for just being allowed to fund Thier crypto wallets on casinos - that could also be a money laundering route.

How does any company market themselves? Gambling companies are usually allowed to market towards anyone that is known to be over the age of 18 in many countries, or 21 in places like the United States. Besides that, they don't have all that many restrictions, you can even see them as a main sponsor of many football clubs in the biggest league in the world. They have more freedom to advertise than say tobacco or alcohol companies. In practice, they'll be searching for any sort of advertising locations and try to track conversions, but will even advertise subtly with online streamers or influencers. Anywhere advertisers flock towards and find conversions will be popular locations - they can even advertise them on Google and will be paying quite steep prices for ad spots.
