Based upon this started using bitcoin as an earning source and in a short realized the true potential and bought a small portion to get a profit when price increases. Also started to trade with small amount.

I heard from Dark Net. Exactly from dark markets. I have curiosity about illegal stuffs. Dont use them but have curiosity. The accept only bitcoin so i heard first this way. Then research what is bitcoin and i found myself in a deep world.

Still browsing in dark net but lookin for how can i buy electronic products with bitcoin in safe. I dont trust them so still cant shopping.

Lots of people in my country know bitcoin like that ''Dark net currency''. In my perspective bitcoin can not fit in to a frame. More than this. Im so grateful to Satoshi Smiley

Now i understand why people say ''In Bitcoin We Trust''

I am domain name re seller and while I was exploring some domains regarding latest trades, I read about bitcoin and in that period, I also bought some domains. I sold one domain here on Bitcointalk and received payment in bitcoin. This is where I first time heard about bitcoin and fortunately I was able to cover a deal in my first month of bitcoin.

The funny part about how I was first introduced to bitcoin is that my girlfriend told me about it, not those computer geeks that I know Cheesy There was a coffee shop accepting bitcoin opened near her house and it had a bitcoin sign on its front door, and after a long time of noticing that strange symbol, she decided to make a research and I was so impressed by it that I couldn't resist the idea of being a part of this bitcoin network.

Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

My friend told me about bitcoin. If I remember right, he was just starting then but very persevere in reading to know more about bitcoin. He told me what he knows and encourage me to also do it. I just said "Yeah, I'll try." I admit that I did not take it seriously because I have doubts in my skills. But as days and months passed I can still see him pushing himself in the bitcoin business. He is also my classmate too, there are days that he would go to school looking so pale and tired caused by lack of sleep. But he did not give up Smiley . And now he is still into bitcoin, his mouth shut about his income but willing to share all his knowledge and help us to understand what bitcoin is for. Smiley

First time heard about Bitcoin was .... Huh I can't remember. I do remember seeing the Bitcoin stickers in a few places before I ever knew how to Bitcoin. I keep thinking suprnova.org but no way, that was toast in like 2004. 4 years and a month or so before the white paper. Maybe it was when someone mentioned something about BitTorrent's mining?

The first time I know of bitcoin, when I saw the news on TV about a group of young people in london who gamble using bitcoin as a payment.
Because I am happy with betting and gambling, then very quickly I know and use bitcoin via Internet. And without realizing it, I know how to earn a lot of bitcoin, and it was very enjoyable.
If you know about bitcoin for a long time why your rank here is just newbie? Or maybe you don't count commenting as good way to make bitcoins for gambling? I do like that. Almost everything that I make here I use in gambling.

i hear it from exchange site
many of them showing ads tho
How do you manage to go an exchange without knowing about bitcoin ? i heard about bitcoin in an article and became interested in knowing more and found it is easy to gamble with it and so i fell in love with it.

It's actually possible that he read an article about an altcoin first or a promotion or advertisement of it. And so he invested in that altcoin, bought some, and then went to check the price of it in USD. You need to go to exchange for that. But the exchange doesn't exchange altcoin into USD directly. You have to convert it into bitcoins first. Just a wild guess since a lot of people are being into crypto-currency without knowing bitcoin first. Altcoins are getting advertised a lot of Facebook.
it is indeed possible to know from the bitcoin exchanger. Well, today bitcoin has spread to all corners of the world. people are trying to spread bitcoin through advertising, social media, news, and much more. I also know of a bertia bitcoin on facebook. at that time, the news said that bitcoin is a land of gold. so, I am interested to find.
i think bitcoin still need some more advertisement as the bitcoin users are still very low, only a limited number of people still using bitcoin, if we want bitcoin to provide more facilities to us i think we need to promote bitcoin in our local areas so that people start using bitcoin.
