I heard bitcoin for the first time last 2013 when i join a group in a social networking site where the members of that group are earning bitcoin. At first i was curious about it, on how they earn from bitcoin but i was not interested that time. Last year 2015 i joined that group again because i was starting to think on how to earn my own money. And there I start earning bitcoin for myself.

Yes im a avid fan of bitcoin and ive been using bitcoins for over a year now.Yes i spent almost 8-12 hours on computer or on pc just doing things that is connected to bitcoin.I've just read it from an article and got influenced by an old friend who use to work with bitcoin and earn money at home.
First time i heard about bitcoin from my friend so that is the reason i am at this place.
The bitcoin price went up to 200$ back in 2013 in may , thats when there was a news on a turkish newspaper and I checked it out. Have been here ever since.
One of my client in the Upwork asked me to write some articles for him. The topic was about bitcoin and I was completely sure it was something like a gaming chip or something like that. Then I googled it straight away. And the rest is history along the bitcoin network.
I first heard bitcoin on a local investment forum.
A very wealthy client advised me to invest in bitcoin, I ignored it for a while but he kept trying to convince me about what bitcoin will become. I did a bit of research & then decided to bite the bullet & buy in. I haven't stopped investing since then. Buy & HODL is the way forward, hope for a great future.

the first time i have heard about bitcoin was on a forum that i have read about it but later on one of my friends explained it to me in details
I don't clearly remember but I think it was after browsing some webs, an interesting new appeared concerning bitcoins. After reading it I just had to investigate more and more 
I heard it from my friend, he introduced me to bitcoins and then I am totally into it, and then started to search and get as many possible information related to bitcoins and now I suggest my friends to invest their money in bitcoins;

Using a now extinct search engine how to make money online when I was a broke college student. I found a few places that I could make 20+ bitcoins a day solving captchas.

I saw an article in some magazine(I can't remember which) in late 2012 talking about the silk road. I installed TOR(for research purposes of course) so I could access the site. I remember looking at the prices and think how cheap everything was(this is because I thought the prices were in USD). After a little more research I found out what Bitcoin was, but decided it was way too difficult to get a hold of some just to buy some herb online...I sure do wish I had went through the hassle and bought some at 2012 prices, but you know hindsight is 20/20 and all.
A buddy told me that he creates magical money with his computer at home. I checked it out and would have stayed when not mtgox went down.

When I first heard of it, it was described like an in-game currency which can be converted to cash, and someone have bought a house by selling 1000 BTC. The article was just in the funny news section of a newspaper.
Then I start finding more articles describing it more preciously months later, then I finally decided to join the bitcoin community. By joining here, I've learnt much more about bitcoin and just found out many local articles were misleading...

I came to know about Bitcoin from a guy who was buying drugs from silk road and I wondered that this can also happen.
