i read about it on a forum , i think there was a post advertising a faucet if i am not mistaken. then i started earning bitcoin from claiming faucets for a while and read more about bitcoin on the side .

I think everyone started like this.. from faucets. It was the easiest way to get some BTC.
If I can ask, when did you first hear about BTC, 2009, 2010 etc... ?

yeah i think many people have started with faucets , just look at the beginners and help section and you'll see a lot of new users are using bitcoin faucets as a way to earn bitcoin.
and it was early 2014 when i started with bitcoin seriously and i think the faucet was freebitco.in which is still active until now.

yea I started with freebitco.in too, it's actually one of the best faucets from 2013 till now.. I see that now it has a really nice design and it looks so modern, it's definitely better than the previous one.. if you want to check it fast: https://freebitco.in

I've read about it an article. Don't remember where, but it was about 2 and a half years ago Smiley
Started to search how and where to earn, used several faucets, then investments, and many other ways. Like everyone here, i guess.

I read an article too, but at that stage I thought that its a scam so I just ignored it, but after few months my friend recommended me about the bitcoin and explained me in detail what bitcoin is all about, And since then I haven't looked back, a big thanks to my friend  Smiley

So, this is the most obtuse way ever, but from a browser game with around 200-300 players at the time, called Minethings.
They accepted Bitcoin, and had a link with "What is Bitcoin" and all that.

It's strange how a community of 200-300 people (probably lesser active) introduced me to a community of millions.
If anyone is looking to check it out: minethings.com

EDIT: And they even have a subforum called Bitcoin!

I heard about Bitcoin on one forum about making money online ( no longer interested in this, trolls Tongue ) and one new user posted something about bitcoin faucets ( they were giving freakin' big amounts compared to today's rates, but rate for USD was lower. I got high amount of BTC just from faucets and later from referrals, but then I gambled it all away Sad

2013, i was having fun  of mining but the whole mining thing, unfortunately it has vanished...now i follow how bitcoin is doing every fucking day i watch its price because the price is its health

reading about good news only don't interest me anymore, i want to see the impact of their investment on the price otherwise what they said it's pointless, like i said the price is important

Discovered it sometime back in 2013 luckily just before it went UPP. However after it crashed down most of my craze was dead by then .

First time I have heard about bitcoin it was when I joined a promising site about three years ago. It was difficulties at the beginning with the wallet to create and to understand what was but reading some things in internet and wikipedia I was fascinated by him. Since that days I am a good fan of bitcoin and always try to find ways to have some more than I have.

The first time, the news. Some article from some website. It used to be impossible for me to talk about with people, but it's becoming an ever increasing easier conversation to have with people, with friends, with family, with coworkers...it's a beautiful thing.
