Not your Keys, Not your Bitcoins

What I would do if I were new to crypto trading:
- Read a few books on the subject (good quality books)
- Read and not ask questions first (the forum is full of various topics)
- Ask myself questions: like why is Bitcoin so popular? why most of the money is going into it? Why institutions prefer Bitcoin, etc.
- I would not put any significant capital in something I don't understand.

Hope this will give you a bit of inspiration. Smiley

Hello everyone, I just got introduced into crypto by a friend and would like to know how do I go about doing it. Have went through lots of tutorials from different places but did not quite understand how to use them and what to see. That's when I thought a forum would be the next best place to place such a question.

First off, you need to sign up to a trading exchange in order to start making profit. Try my signature. It is the hottest exchange used by many crypto traders.

I would recommend that you go back to the tutorials, a forum can be a great place to ask for specific questions about topics that you do not understand as we can give a very specific advice about what you're doing wrong and what you are doing right, but you need to have some foundation in terms of knowledge about what entails to become a successful trader.

There is no way to skip that step and it seems to me that is what you are trying to do, it seems that you want for us to solve all of your questions and your doubts when that is not possible, also unlike most of us you have a friend from which you can ask questions and that is invaluable so take advantage of it and only come here once you have specific doubts about a specific topic.

If you really want to start trading , then first start learning, first learn then earn, start a study and learning and when you sure that now you can start trading then start from a demo account, apply your learning and knowledge on demo account for atleast one month after a month calculate tour whole result what you done in the whole month on demo account and what is the result if the result is good and you sure then start on real account, and also i will suggest to start from a less amount, syart from those amount which you can afford to loss.
In my opinion, if you must recommend for OP start with Demo account it is advisable for him or her to begin the with smaller amount since you recommend that s/he should start the life trading with smaller amount. Here is my reason if you used big amount to learn as at the time you are using Demo account. it will be difficult for you to maintain that same strategies you master during Demo when you begin with life account that your money is involved. In summary, which ever amount and strategies you used during your Demo trading use that same amount and strategies during you life account.

Before start trading determine whether or not this is the best plan for you. If you're thinking of trading stocks, then first obtain a formal education about that coin. Choose an online broker. Start looking into stocks. Create a strategy and stick to it. By applying these strategies a person can start a successful trading.

for a newbie like you mate. Probably the good idea before anything else is to educate self first, and don't ever stop because of some reason that you can't understand, must put efforts instead!.
Indeed all the answer of our question about trading is in the internet already.. Just don't rush your situation wherein be patient if you really want to obtain knowledge in order to start trading. because if you don't have such manner, you cannot enter in trading field immediately, perhaps you can but accept the fact that you can't succeed in it. Remember that mate.

Hello everyone, I just got introduced into crypto by a friend and would like to know how do I go about doing it.
Why you didn't ask your friend about trading then?
I'm pretty sure they should know the basic or at least direct you to the tutorial or guide for beginners. That's kinda weird.

Have went through lots of tutorials from different places but did not quite understand how to use them and what to see. That's when I thought a forum would be the next best place to place such a question.
You need to try it for yourself, sure you have read lot of tutorials but you need to do it in real case so you are not confused because every user has their own trading and step to do trading.
Try to join on some trading groups on telegram. I think I have seen lots of it on this forum, at least you will be focus on what to do next.

I would suggest you to learn  "how to r read Technical charts and use Technical Indicators" before you jump into trading. Risk and Money managment is another is another toll which you have to learn to save your capital from total Loss. Once you get good understanding of technical Indicators and Money managment then start trading in only Top 20 coins of coinmarketcap. I have give below important links which might be useful for you.

it simply you can't just learn about trading and those tutorials because you haven't try to use it in actual trading. Because trading wasn't just only learning the tutorials online, it must be done in an actual scenario as well to know how it really works. You can start for a few bucks like $50 or $100, it wasn't big enough and hurting to lose if we fail.

If you have a lot of questions before it starts, that is probably more questions to ask once you are already in trading. Honestly, you need to have a companion to work with you but to tell you that never get close to signal groups as these people will not helping you to grow.

Dear friend, welcome to the crypto world and to the Bitcoin forum.

(1) The first thing that will help you to understand the basics of crypto is patience! You need patience because it will take your time to understand crypto in-depth, without patience it will be hard to understand and you may hate crypto.

(2) The second thing is practice. You need to practice what you have learned so that you can have it on your mind FOREVER. There are many crypto software that will help you with this. You can search on google but I also recommend Trading view.

(3) The last thing is plans! Before start trading, you must know why you trade, what amount of capital you want to start with (I recommend small at the beginning), which coins/tokens do you want to trade, and etc.

There are many basic things you must understand before starting to trade, but for now, you can start with those 3 and later you will become a PRO automatically. Goodluck!

Start with a capital, you should first have a capital even if it is just small in order to have some experience in the market and test things and probably explore the market. That's the way I learned how to trade, I first explore the market and after that learning different technical analysis and apply it.
Indeed. Knowing your capital first is very important in trading. Trade only with your prepared money and always set aside funds. Start with a small capital in order for you to have some experiences in the market and for you to test things and gain knowledge. Starting with a small capital will help you explore the market and learn something about it. Make sure you have techniques and strategies before you start on trading, you will surely earn a good profit but risk is always been there, so much better to be careful to avoid losing your fund.

In my opinion, the only option for starting trading is a demo account. This is the only way a trader has a chance to make a profit. At least, when I started working with a broker from Amarkets, I used just this option.

Hello friends , it would be great if there is a beginner who is not shy about asking . Everyone is learning the same here. As a beginner, I used to trade or invest from small things, with as much capital as I could. Because I don't want to be greedy here. When my profit and money increase automatically the capital increases and from small beginnings I learn from my experience. So my advice is not without capital, just as much as you can and don't go into debt. Because we are in a high risk trade.

If you are new to crypto, I don't think it is better for you to trade directly.
First, ensure yourself that you are really okay and also ready in the crypto world, not only think about the profits, but also you may lose your money or get some risks.
Second, learn about crypto basically, at least you really know what is cryptocurrencies, what is Bitcoin and altcoins.
Third, learn about trading, exchanges, and everything related to trading.
Fourth, if you want to start trading, I think it is better to start with a small number of funds in order to learn by doing to get some experience.
These are basically what I did at the first time, hopefully it can help

If you are new to trading, maybe you can try out auto copy trading services at this crypto exchange called Bitget, https://www.bitget.com/en/copytrading. And u can copy the trades of expert traders etc

They claimed to be the world's largest crypto copy trading platform and have many copy traders, not sure if anybody here have tried trading on Bitget before? If yes how is the experience like and does their copy trading rlly works?

You can watch tons videos on Youtube to know how to start crypto trading. Here is the sample:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bwTktYPllw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFpveDVZvXA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-zlcIplWU0
https://cryptotips.eu/en/blog/how-to-start-with-cryptocurrency-trading/

You can find more videos or article from the internet. I am sure that can help you to understand how to trade and how to analyze the market.

Thanks for this appreciate it. I was also wondering why do some platforms have copy trading and what is that as they have copy traders to follow and help me with my trading? I earn based on what they choose to trade in? Like if they were to lose or gain then would it be the same for me?
Before you know how to trade, it is better not to try copy trading because it needs more information on how to copy trading. Selecting the traders to be copied is not easy because you need to know who the traders are and how good their performance is so far.

for me IMO when it comes trading the most important things you need to know is how to use indicators, and how to determine a good coin to trade in the market, which is you can actually find or get some information easily if you used to make research using related keywords, for example "useful indicators, best indicators 2021 and etc" , as the matter of fact there are some step by step tutorial in youtube from some expert influencer. And it's so easy which you can actually adopt all the important things when it comes trading if you always watching those tutorials.. Maybe within weeks you can start trading  especially if you're a fast learner, so must try bro..
