something i wish their was to do is something etoro has and some other trade platforms... trailing stoploss, i'd love to be able to set a trailing stop loss on BTC/USDT for instance and be able to take profit if it reverses

Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?
I always doing day trading! I always buying a coin when the price is low and I always selling my coins if the price is increased by 10%-20%. You must also try this strategy for you to earn money in trading.
As you said, so, if the price of which coins you had bought dumped and you have loss, you will never sell your coins, is right Cheesy? You have to remember 10-20% for the cryptocurrency market is easy to earn, but for other market, this is very high profits.

You want to sell when you feel profitable. I think is 10% -30%. You put many sell orders do not put all one sell so if the coin is increased more you will sell at more price your profit will increase more.

My strategy when will decide to sell, when I think the profit has been obtained, then I will sell. If I am busy and can not monitor the price to sell, I will set a target sale price with a decent profit, but not set a very high target. So in accordance with the selling price.

I just set sell as long as I'm in profit I don't care anymore if price climbs too high because no matter what I do I'm really not good in predicting coins price in future and I only depends on my gut feel when buying and selling alts.

First factor that makes me decide to sell is when i badly need the money and no other source of funds for that urgent needs, 2nd is when the price reaches high to the moon and you are already satisfied of the increase of the money you invested, that’s the time i may decide to sell and wait again for right time of buying for another holding...
Me too . I only sell when I need money and sell only the right amount. I think everyone wants to keep the cryto and limit the deposit to the bank because the bank never helps me make a good profit.

it depends on me what time to sell because i sell it when the price is high and i think it would be  risky if i didnt sell in high price because its tired to wait then the price would go low again.
According to my plan of trading with bitcoin I will still busy in buying because the rate is not too high now and will be waiting for future when the rate of bitcoin will increased up to 25k $ then I will start selling bitcoin and can make a huge profit at that time by selling my coins.

My strategy when to decide when its time to sell when its values drops a little but if you will sell it make it sure that the value you will sell is much higher when you bought it.

That's the main point trading, buy low sell high. We should not sell with lower rate than the time we bought it, indeed sometime we need to do cut loss but actually it is not recommended. We should see what is happening, looking around to find the reasons why the price is up or down. This will help us to decide to sell it fast or wait a little bit to get higher value.

when it's in 10-20% profit for short and midterm trading.
and about 50% for long trading.
It's my own trading plan.
You should have your own trading strategy and follow exactly it. Fix it when need.

For me, I will check first there news about the plan of the coins or token. Then i will see on exchange site if there any movement of there token, if have i will bid my token in the highest point that can reach. But sometimes when i see that i will have much profit i will sell it directly but not all i will half half sell.

Based on a plan that I had decided, and at what percentage we will take a profit, etc. Actually charting is really helpful when it comes to trading if you do it well it gives us an insight where the price is going to. And putting a stop-loss order is gave many benefits when things don't go well.

Deciding on the time of selling is an easy decision to all is of us. Well, sometimes if we decide with emotions well there is always doubt but suddenly it's easy for us to sell it when we decide with weak decisions.

My husband strategy in selling bitcoin is he sell bitcoin when the price is high.  Unlike others, he kept on monitoring the price of bitcoin.  And every time the price is high, it is the best opportunity for him to sell his bitcoins.  But when the bitcoin price is low, he start buying bitcoin.  It is just proper timing. So, this is also my strategy.
Most times, you will still always need to analyze the charts to be sure you are making good decisions and also understand that good decisions do not just come true every time.

I am sure your husband must be a good trader and there must have just been sometimes when he will have to buy back at loss while trying to sell for profit and then the value increasing further. It is just one of those things we have to always expect in trading.
