I usually understand and look for good projects on Icobench and Yahoo Finance.
Why on Icobench? because there you can easily find team information and the project rating.
and for Yahoo Finance I usually use it to convince myself that the project is really serious and not a scam.

Icobench is a site that can't be trusted by anyone. There are so many threads in this forum that has already discussed the reputation of icobench and some people have even confirmed that icobench was doing a very shady thing just like create fake review and rating for the scam project.
It's clear that if icobench was getting paid by the scam project to create fake review.

I think that you must think again for a twice before try to take it as a choice to get the information regarding the new ico.

I'm an investor but not with new projects, is it that really needed to have them discord so that you can chat with their community? Because when you invest, you are particular with that project and you know that it's a good one.
Coinmarketcap has a chat feature, maybe they have their community there.

no, you can contact the community team of the project directly either from social media or via the given email.
investing in new projects will be difficult in the long term because few will survive.
So the goal for the average person to invest in a new project is to make quick profits.

he knows the risk of investin in newer projects thats why he chose to pick older projects  , i like an investor with that kind of initiative because they are a great example for other investors and they encourage creators that create quality project to work for more and not get discourage of the growing competition because most of them are just an illusion and not really legit . the goal of investing on new projects to make a quick profit may sound easy but this isnt always the case that happen because mostly new projects are just skem .

I usually get most favors from the forums. You can get bounty information from any forum like BitcoinTalk, altcoinTalk. You can also find out about new projects through your web or their social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and even their telegram group.
For information, we can indeed get it from various social media channels, especially telegram groups created by managers specifically, the rest we ourselves have to find out through social media pages such as Twitter and other crypto forums, but we also have to filter it yourself because not all bounty projects can be good to follow.

Maybe there are some informational subreddits?
Hmm, the best subreddits I can recommend to you are r/CryptoCurrency and r/CryptoMarkets. They have the most number of subscribers so I guess those would be a great option. Honestly, it was very seldom to find posts there discussing/promoting a particular project so try to join their daily discussion. You can see a lot of suggestions there. But I'll give you a warning, reading on such megathreads is a little bit confusing so bring a lot of patience Grin. Good luck!

Hi everyone, I mostly participate in public token sales, so I need to know about the start of sales as early as possible to prepare. I wonder how you learn about new projects? I am particularly interested in how people learn about projects that only have a discord channel. Or do you follow the investment of any funds? Maybe there are some informational subreddits? Let's share useful sources!
Mostly out of telegram chats/public channels or manually with coingecko/cmc freshly released coins.
I guess you can try to find useful information on subreddits, but lets be honest 90% of content there is memes.

It looks like there are still so many people who are using the analytic site as their base to get the information about the ico. I personally just used the cryptorank and try to know ROI analytic that has already made by anysite. I rarely participated in the ICO that outside of exchange site.

Cryptorank was also publishing the legit icos too. I like icoanalytics but i rarely used this one as the site to get any data regarding the potential of ICO or IEO. It's very interesting.

ICO Analytics is a channel about new project news that will emerge, I sometimes use this to select the project I want to invest in as well as be a part of it as well. on the other hand I use this forum and other social media channels such as Twitter and YouTube. this makes it easier for me to know every project that will come up.
Nice procedure. In my experience I missed several new coins, just visited this forum. Some different rating sites help me to find a new project name. To research by ANN thread or white paper, I'm following the Bitcoin forum. But we shouldn't follow or promise from ICO Analytics. These sites or channels help with different scam projects.

I guess this might be a bit useful for me when there ain't no new projects popping up here in the forum.
I ain't in the mood yet to throw my money at new projects these days after the ICOs days back in 2017 although that would be a really long time, I lost a lot during that time.
This forum is quite enough for me to search for projects that could potentially be profitable.

Here is my list which makes it easier for me to find:

1) CryptoDiffer - The list is not very relevant, some projects have already undergone public sale of tokens.
https://t.me/cryptodiffer
https://twitter.com/CryptoDiffer

2) ICO Analytics - News and analysis channel.
https://t.me/ico_analytic
https://twitter.com/ICO_Analytics

3) Generation Crypto - News and analysis channel.
https://t.me/Generation_Crypto

4)  Site Polka Project - Allows you to track new projects projects related to Polkadot system.
https://polkaproject.com/

I have joined the groups above but there are a lot of bad projects, even scams.  they just list the project arbitrarily so that their channel has a lot of followers, I don't appreciate this action.
Anyway, thank you for your contribution to the community.  I still wish we would have a notification channel about new projects, but all of which has been analyzed before ^^

There are a lot of channels that provide information about new projects in the crypto space. For me, most of the crypto and project that I knew and have gained a lot were from youtube channels. So far their review of the many new project have influenced me to invest and fortunately I have gained a lot from them. I also follow reddit crypto channels and they have been my source for projects that moon.

I think that Telegram groups, trustworthy news websites, and this forum are adequate sources to find information about new projects. Google trends can be used as an extra resource. Wink

I gave up the habit of tracking ICO projects from ICO review websites, most of which just gave general evaluation of one ICO. Besides, the ICOs on the web are often described as very good and potential, but the majority will turn into a pile of rubbish. Such websites also do not have mixed comments so that investors can evaluate a project comprehensively.
If you want to invest in the best ICO make your own reviews, don't trust the web.
I didn't ask how I could analyze a project or with the help of someone. I understand perfectly well that ratings are bought, paid reviews are written, and so on. The final decision will still be mine. I want to be one of the first to learn about projects. That's what I need.

Twitter and YouTube as well as 4chan you'll really find most new and promising projects in there but be careful as most of them are just paid shills but as advice as always it's best to DYOR. This forum isn't new to the one asked in the OP since most of the new launched projects do prefer to be announced here, mostly for SEO purposes and it's on the Announcement (Altcoins) board or maybe it's discussed also in this board (Altcoins Discussion).
What channels do you subscribe to on YouTube?

Be informed that you cant follow the coins provided by the about crypto analysis group. Meanwhile, if you put the performance of all new cryptocurrency since the year 2018 that offer initial offering after exchange listing you'll see that 80% of them dump below the price of it initial offering which make invest in crypto during initial offering not to be profitable and I will advise you to invest once they are listed on exchange which will also give you the chance to earn coins when they start the coin trading competition.
For exchange listing alert use cryptocurrency alerting

I know about these sad statistics. Great site, I'll start using it. Thanks!

I find thing mostly in the bounty hunting forums. Im not onle to invest with real money in coins and i should probably reevaluate that choice, but i learn about new coins in bounty hunting forums, and then i search them and if they look promising i take a gig and it goes on from that.

I am not investing in new projects, but I am looking for new projects to join the bounty program. Usually, I search for this forum in the Announcements (Altcoins) section. In that part, tons of new projects will create ICOs and IEOs, but some become scams.

From my experiences, you can get the information from any forum, like altcoin discussion, or bitcoin forum. But I want to tell you too, that you should see their web or their social media. Especially like Twitter, Facebook, and even their Telegram Group. You can get more information about their project too.
