New projects are risky, I do not like to get into something before it is even released, I understand that there were people who made 100x of their profit recently thanks to defi projects and all, there was also a lot of people, actually even more people, who lost their money to that as well and there is even a bigger, a huuuuge number of people whose money is locked and they are waiting to see if they will profit or if their money is gone.

It is the main reason why I think it is quite important to not get in very early. If I get into something very early and I do not know that very well (as in they haven't been around for years) that means I will be in constant fear if my money is gone totally or if I am profiting, that uncertainty is not something I can live with.

There are various ways to find a new project that will be successful in the future, as you mentioned above, but I personally prefer projects that are listed on the market because the prospects for success are clear.

Actually I'm not the typical investor who chases new projects for a very long time because in my opinion there are more projects that are no longer very interesting in any way. Talking of great source from the list you mentioned, I just followed CryptoDiffer. But thanks for the list it might also be useful for me later

there are some good channels you can follow to get updates on new projects. in most cases I use the announcement section of this forum to get new projects
I trust a channel that is professional and experienced, more detailed and objective in reviewing a potential project. The telegram channels I like to check out new projects for are https://t.me/ico_analytic and https://t.me/cryptofenrir.
Well, we also have to be careful and don't rush to agree with other people's opinions, we must have our own basis for judgment, adjusting to the risks and abilities of each. Crypto world is full of surprises, predictions from experts can be missed, however, don't just rely on luck, the point is effort and prayer must be balanced.

I am not very detailed in finding out about new projects that have emerged, when I see a new project then I will just do a search on google so I can decide whether to join or not.

I only use bitcointalk on the altcoins. There is nowhere else to find new projects because I find it unbelievable when the news comes from somewhere. The users in the forum just share information and that is where I will have to find truth to it by research. If I find it on facebook I will search for it still but many of them will just be scam if they are not shared here.

If you found a new project being announced, you will still need to research about it. You just can't treat it like it is because thats the way you get scammed.

I use https://icobench.com/ web site to find out about new legit projects. In ICObench you can easily find out new or upcoming project very easily .
You can also check https://icodrops.com/
Don't you think that these opinions are biased just like the users claim that they take money from the project marketing teams to boost up the ICO ratings which makes pretty easy to scam the people and thus these sites aren't that reliable anymore and I think there is a need for decentralized ICO rating websites that can work on proof of person mechanism just like IDENA can be implemented in the voting system, with the use of which the ratings can't be manipulated by a single identity and would also be reliable because it will reflect what the community thinks about the project.

Most ICO ratings are biased as they are paid by respective projects. So if you want unbiased area where you can find new blockchain projects, why go too far? In this forum - the ANN ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 ) and the Tokens ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=240.0 ) boards will provide you all new and old projects that you can check out with. You can check their thread and read what's going on in each and every project. Honestly, this is my first place to check new crypto projects. Very rare that I will go to ICO or other website ratings as a lot of them are rigged.

Damn, am I old or what?  Grin
I never followed those written on your list. Not even one.

The thing is, I am not that keen on using twitter. I mostly just read there.
Then telegram, ah that application sucks when you join the wrong groups and so many pm's coming in with an offer of help which in the end is a scam.
I am not even opening that application anymore.

I simply use this forum for updates. Then, Google the ICO project and directly go to the webpage to read everything about them.

Here? Why would I need anywhere else, the moment there is a new thing in the market they just simply make it know and they publish it here as well hell most of them start their own topic on bitcointalk as well, just go take a look at other parts of altcoin board like announcement and you will see that there are tons of coins that started their own topics.

For the ones that do not start their own ones, there are ones here in discussion board for people who would like to talk about it but they are rare and usually unsuccessful projects anyway because good ones at least start a topic here even if not be active in it. So long story short I do not need anywhere else, sure I could use them and it could help me but that doesn't mean that I have to use them, they are just good to haves and not musts.
