Spending money to get pure fun - as in your case -is something many have been doing even without being told. Isn't it just the same as paying to play on video games too?? only that you stand a chance to gain some tip if it cuts on the later.
Considering your bank roll will always make you feel you've spent alot already - but sometimes, you'll be left to stake with peanut cash and that - at the end of the day - doesn't even correlate,...Assuming you you wanna compare your wins to your losses. I'm not really used to that since peeps really don't stake on casinos online - say, only a few percentage of peeps do.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
you are right because I believe that gambling is a determination and whatever you choose to spend in your stake in gambling is what you think that you can afford to lose, but some people don't understand gambling in that way, you can't compare your losing and wining in a gambling because I believe that gambling have to with luck, and it is possible that your first gambling it may favor you or not, so gambling have to with favour

Anyone here is successful doing a long shot bet? A point were you can be satisfied without considering your bankroll status and just pure fun on gambling experience?
Well, Yes, it is for me, at the very beginning of my life as a gambler, I have been in the same shoes are you, I've always gambled until my bankroll is zero, before I will quit, and even, there are still countless times when I made some nice profits, which I could have chosen to walk away with, but greed will tell me to keep playing, that there is an ample opportunity to make more profit, that is double what ever the amount i have at the bankroll at that moment, and of several of such occasions, I later ended up losing everything back to the casino..

After several disappointing and frustrating encounters like the above, I had to teach myself to stop trying to make money through gambling, most especially, in playing slot games, so I began to avoid playing slot games any time making money is my reason for gambling, I do sports betting instead, but still go ahead to play wit a few dollars on  slot when ever I don't mind losing the money to having fun.

......My gambling time only ended up if I’m on profit big time or 100% loss my bankroll. I don’t know but it’s very hard for to quit gambling when my bankroll is at loss or on a little bit profit.

Anyone here is successful doing a long shot bet? A point were you can be satisfied without considering your bankroll status and just pure fun on gambling experience?

It's hard to do that your bankroll and your losing and winning streak will always have an impact on your mindset, there's always a shift of mindset where you want to have fun to trying to recover your losses because the dopamine is very high when you have this shit and this what makes gambling excited.

Always experienced this,  I start just to have fun then I realize I can recover my losses because I'm getting lucky so make it a go to try to extend my winning streak, and most of the time I got myself busted because chasing your losses is such a bad idea.
There's no way that you could totally make yourself get contented on which you would really be doing these stuffs along the way;

1. Winning? = Play more and anticipate for more winnings and missing out on stopping and calling it a day
2. Losing? = You would play for more and hoping that you would be able to break even on what you had lost but eventually majority of gamblers do end up on losing more.

Its actually a matter of self control on which lots of people do really missed out this basic stuff on something which a certain gambler must have.
Its a matter of emotion and really that mindset on how you do treat up gambling which it is really just that really for fun and not something that could really make your rich.

I have this kind of problem ever since I started online gambling. I’m always bored playing same bet amount while my bankroll just keep coming back and fort to my initial bank roll.

The real problem starts when I’m on a long losing streak with same bet amount let's say 5 win streak. My mind set change from relax gambling to chasing loss. Even after I recover my loss, I bet already in abnormal pattern so that I can earn profit in a fast way. I always conclude my mistake after gambling. I keep repeating this cycle. My gambling time only ended up if I’m on profit big time or 100% loss my bankroll. I don’t know but it’s very hard for to quit gambling when my bankroll is at loss or on a little bit profit.

I'd be a hypocrite if I say those kinds of losses didn't get to me back then. Way back then, I'm betting religiously so to speak. I only bet 1% of my bankroll to make sure that I have more games to play. The stress of losing a lot and winning a little will get to you really. So I tried doing the Martingale strat (you double your bet after every subsequent loss to make sure that your wins cover your losses). Until I realize that I don't have that hefty of a bankroll to carry on the strat after a few plays. It might work for you especially if you have a bigger pot, but for regular players this will never be the long shot solution they are looking for.

This was until I found out about just moving on. Sometimes losses can't really be recovered no matter how much games you play, and no matter how big your bag is to support your Martingale strategy. The best thing to do sometimes is to just quit while you still have something to keep, and then carry on the next day. It has saved me tons of money, and altogether allowed me to stay sane and safe from gambling addiction. I know this is not the conventional tip you're really looking for but it's better than belligerently wasting all your bankroll on one go.

I don't think I am understanding it well as with long shot bets or long hauls we gamblers call a parlay in sport betting for example which includes well over 5-10 games but that are played in different days of the week, for example 2 games on Monday, one on Tuesday, one on Wednesday,2 on Thursday and the rest through Friday to weekend. This is what we call a long shot bet meaning we wait a lot for the final outcome if we keep winning most of our choices and if we don't fail early on with our chosen games.

If you mean to keep chasing lost amounts after a certain pattern from slot sessions or other games which is more likely than what I wrote above it does not do me any damage,I have set apart that bankroll and will continue this long shot bet until I lose all balance or until I win big as you say and quit and withdraw my money, there is no real midway except these two choices.

Try to have fun gambling. It's not about making money doing it because most gamblers lose money in the long run. You gamble to have some fun and feel the thrill of the game, the risk of betting and the satisfaction of winning, even if you end the session with a loss, winning those few games or hands makes it fun.

It's like in sports. You don't always win, but you keep playing because one in a few games ends with you winning.

What you're trying to do is make money each time and it's mathematically impossible, otherwise casinos would go bankrupt.

I feel you. You get fired up knowing that you have spent some time and your money isn't going anywhere then you decided to go and do a high bet with high odds thinking that you got all the bases covered. it happens to the best of us, and it's something that is quite common to a lot of gamblers even though they have developed a solid mindset about this thing.

Personally, I just leave for a while and try to do something else to divert my attention from gambling. That way, I don't stress out that much in making money and help me do decisions that aren't as sketchy as opposed to when I'm trying to chase some wins. It's more on your mindset and how strong you are mentally, and it's not easy to develop and maintain it specially if you became too used to doing that for a long time.

what the OP experienced is no difference with most gamblers here. we are all guilty of the same approach at one point in our gambling life. when you are on the losing streak, you will tend to chase such losses up until your bankroll is depleted. nothing new. most gamblers are like that though.
in my case, to avoid zero bankroll at the end of the game, i usually set a limit of myself. the max amount that i can spend in one sitting. if i spend more than that, i need to think of stopping my game no matter what. i always set my mindset not to follow my desire to chase losses, because high likely that i will end up screwed.

I feel you and there's no other way to change the mood but to increase our bet and expect that winning will come next.

However, in most cases, the other way around happened which is losing most of the time and the result, will come back again on the initial bet and the cycle will just repeat, coming back and forth to your initial bankroll or worst, now playing lowered than your starting bankroll.

Honestly, there's no other way to handle it but to force ourselves to just keep and maintain the starting bet amount no matter how many times it keeps coming back and forth to our original bankroll. We will only consider changing our bet if somehow, the bankroll increases while in the process.

Patience is really the key.

Satisfaction levels would really be entirely be depending on a certain individual because there are ones who are really just that securing their profits even with having that 10% increase with their capital but these are for those gamblers or people who are really doing gambling for making money but there are ones who are really that mindful on whatever winning or losing situation they would be having as long they would really be able to enjoy the game and this what matter the most, but we know that majority of people who are involved on gambling is into those people who are really that minding about making money. We know that it is really just that a common reaction on having that chasing losses because we've been thinking about on how to break even or getting it back which is really that a very bad behavior to have as a gambler.
Instead of recovery, you would rather experience the worst since things would really be even more severe if you arent really that lucky on that time or on that particular gambling session.

It sounds like you're experiencing some challenges with online gambling and finding it difficult to maintain control over your betting habits. It's important to recognize when gambling starts to have a negative impact on your emotions and finances!!! If you find yourself caught up in a long losing streak or feeling the urge to chase losses, take a break from gambling. Stepping away from the activity can help clear your mind and refocus your perspective. Engage in other activities you enjoy and give yourself time to relax and recharge.
And instead of focusing solely on the outcome and the potential to make large profits, try to approach gambling as a form of entertainment. Enjoy the experience of playing the games, the thrill of anticipation, and the social aspects, rather than being solely driven by financial gains. By shifting your mindset, you can reduce the pressure and stress associated with gambling!!!

The same problem is with most gamblers and there is no solution for that problem other than self-discipline. As you know that gambling is an addiction just like drugs and if someone becomes addicted then the desire to earn more comes automatically in the mind of such gamblers. In order to save ourselves from such losses we must have to be disciplined enough that losing of some trades won't have any affect on your mindset.

I have also gone through such losses and I must say that it's really hard to stop oneself from betting in such situations. Our mind is made in a way that we want all our losses to cover up and we win even more than the losses, and that's why many people for Martin gale strategy, and they  multiply their bet amount with each loss. I won't recommend that strategy because sometimes we lose more than 10 times consequently, and if the strategy is followed then we will have nothing left in our account.

A gambler should stop the bets if he/she losses many times consequently. In such days it's better to stop further betting because if we continue betting more then we will empty up the whole account in a single day. It's always advisable to stop betting in losing days and start betting the next day to avoid such losses.

You're making common mistakes here.

For starters, you're impatient, which isn't a mistake, but rather a personality trait.
The main mistake is gambling to get money. I know it's nice to win and earn from gambling but don't ever think of winning money as a goal that you have to achieve.
If you want to gamble, put some money aside and consider it lost the moment you make the first bet. If you win, great, but don't worry if you lose, the money was lost when you deposited it.
Understand that it's not your money anymore. You're not taking a risk by betting. You take the risk by moving money from your wallet to the wallet of the casino.

I hope this will help you calm down when you play.

The real problem here is thinking you can profit long term against casinos or sportbooks without any strategy. They use their considerable advantage to either fix the odds in casino games to their benefit or add a buffet to sports bets along with in-depth long term analysis to determine the right price to offer. Unless you have a strong advantage over them, you will always suffer defeat in the long run and only analysis over thousands of bets can tell if you're a winner. Talking about profits when gambling is dangerous territory because you naturally go into every bet with a disadvantage, so it should just be for fun.

Caught in a loop in the online betting realm, huh? Feels like déjà vu, right? Two culprits usually have their fingerprints all over this one: ducking a loss and the gambler's tall tale. Ducking a loss is all about hating to lose more than loving to win. Might be why you struggle to throw in the towel when you're on the ropes, and why you find yourself making some dodgy bets to claw back what you lost.

Now, the gambler's tall tale is the wonky idea that if something's been happening a lot recently, it's going to start happening less, or the opposite. This could be why you're hanging tough with the same bet size, even when Lady Luck's giving you the cold shoulder. If you're feeling in over your head with your gambling habits, how about chatting with a pro? Remember to draw the line and bet responsibly. The end game is to keep gambling a fun pastime, without it taking a bite out of your wallet or messing with your headspace.

Anyone here is successful doing a long shot bet? A point were you can be satisfied without considering your bankroll status and just pure fun on gambling experience?

It is a well-known fact that many people initially engage in gambling for entertainment purposes, placing small bets to pass the time when feeling bored or something. However, it often doesn't feel like a significant amount of money has been lost at first. To make up for the losses, some gamblers may feel compelled to increase their bets, hoping that a single win will recover their previous losses. Unfortunately, this approach can lead to even larger losses.

That's why, in my opinion, having a gambling budget and setting realistic goals is super important. You gotta set aside a specific amount of money that you're okay with putting at risk. Whether it's for a day of gambling or just one session, you gotta stick to that amount like it's your lifeline. That way, you can still enjoy the excitement of gambling without going crazy and risking more than you can afford.

I think you should change the type of game you play because you will only get bored and become inconsistent if you didn't want playing the game itself for long exposure.

For example, Live game show like crazy time and funky time offers a full of entertainment games due to its unique games. You will enjoy watching the game aside from betting because you will have a chance of interaction with host during bonus compared to regular games that just offer you a regular bet pattern.

OP,this shows that you have become a gamble addict from your comment. Your gambling habit is too much and you need to limit it or else you will end up losing and draining your bank roll all the time. It is better than we see gambling as fun and also have a time frame,in which we us for gambling,so that no .matter the case maybe either winning or losing, once the time duration elapse we should just quit the game. I have never played long shot before because am not that kind of person that is so much down with gambling. I gamble during the weekends and I do that with my friends sometimes or alone. I enjoy short time pattern because it helps me to control my gambling activities
