I have this kind of problem ever since I started online gambling. I’m always bored playing same bet amount while my bankroll just keep coming back and fort to my initial bank roll.

The real problem starts when I’m on a long losing streak with same bet amount let's say 5 win streak. My mind set change from relax gambling to chasing loss. Even after I recover my loss, I bet already in abnormal pattern so that I can earn profit in a fast way. I always conclude my mistake after gambling. I keep repeating this cycle. My gambling time only ended up if I’m on profit big time or 100% loss my bankroll. I don’t know but it’s very hard for to quit gambling when my bankroll is at loss or on a little bit profit.

Anyone here is successful doing a long shot bet? A point were you can be satisfied without considering your bankroll status and just pure fun on gambling experience?
That is a difficult scenario to deal with, those which seek for some sort of thrill when they gamble are very susceptible to this, after all if you make a bet with the same size each time eventually you will get bored, however if you change the size of your bet now you are taking a higher risk, which is why you begin to lose money and then it causes you to chase your losses, and quite honestly there is not an easy fix for this as your only option will be to limit even more the size of your bets, but this could lower the fun you get out of gambling even further.

in this case (long winning streak) there are two solutions to adopt in the same time. withdraw all or at most only the net profit.
stop playing and resume later in the day or another day.
it's a fundamental mistake to play matches just to play them, I would avoid it in any case, It would lead for sure in losing bets and its a waste of previous profit...

You're right, there should be a proper rethink before taking every necessary steps in gambling, it's not all about shooting out to make sure you're gambling at all times but a on repeated looses, there are times we need to calm down and reset the approach we use in gambling, fine and good the moat common goal of every gambler is to create time in having fun while gambling but we are still expected to take break or pause whenever it's necessary.

You pinpointed all your gambling problems yourself OP, what are you doing to solve this problem? You know what you did wrong and I don't think it's right looking for someone to tell you where you are wrong, you chase losses, you overbet when you can't afford it.  These are general problems that many gamblers have, they can't control their greed and emotions,  maybe you should try setting some gambling rules for yourself. Create a timetable for your gambling days and risk-taking, you will see a big difference.

Get a book or calendar and draw out your favorite gambling days in a week, and also the amount you can afford either twice or thrice a week, then stick to this plan, and when you lose money don't ever try chasing your losses, if you can do this you will see big difference and you will be able to maintain yourself.

Chasing your losses without setting a limit is a sign of being an undisciplined gambler. I believe you should start focusing on solving this problem, as being undisciplined in gambling often leads to regret in the end. We all know the saying that we learn from our mistakes, so there is no need to repeat the same mistakes over and over; we just need to learn from them.

To enjoy gambling and minimize the risk, it is important to set goals and limits. Having a clear target and limit will help ensure satisfaction and responsible gambling.

Well, you are probably playing dice or any other game that gives you a 50% chance of winning with a 2x multiplier, such games can actually become boring after a while if as you said you are playing with the same base bet which is very low and doesn't provide a lot of profit even if you are not losing much, so you should probably change the game and try.

Playing slots might bring in some excitement every now and then, but it also comes with the possibility of getting a big multiplier if you get lucky, you can lose in slots too but it is at least more fun than dice or other games with 50 or 49% winning chances.

Something I do is limit my weekly bets by the amount I bet and not the amount I win or lose.
It doesn't matter if it's a good or bad day, when I reach the pre-established betting amount (yes... I write it down Cheesy ) and stop the moves.
Obviously I always deviate a little from this goal believing that "it's okay" but I've always managed to maintain control.

If you don't see a problem with losing your entire bankroll at once, I don't think it's a big problem to play until you have zero bankroll, as long as you know that this is your limit and don't try to contribute and lose even more money.

Greed and frustration I guess. However, it is a normal drive for a gambling to seek for profit, problem is discipline of doing so such that randomly betting without any plan. It would be easy to say set a limit but it would be hard to follow, although it is the right thing to do. If you have a limit of the amount you can afford losing on a single sitting, then you'd be fine for sure same thing with the amount you win. Without having any plan, you'd end up losing no matter what. The drive to earn more is what makes gambling risky. We should all instill to our minds that losing is more certain and winning would only happen one in a hundred. Try to do this little by little such that everytime you win take a pause.

There's no how you can be satisfied in gambling and still continue for the day, for me as long as you have some sats on your casino wallet you will ever remain unsatisfied until you are done exhausting the bankroll, gambling addiction is part of what constitute to this kind of experience even though it may not have worsen as others have been found with gambling addiction, it also depends atimes on the particular game or sport you're betting on, some can always take much of your time because of the fun while other may be a kind of boring type.
Haha, you are very funny my friend, not every gambler are that addicted to gambling to the extent they can't rest until every single penny on their bankroll is lost, even if I don't know about other gamblers, I know myself that I am not such a gambler who gambles until the bankroll is entirely empty before deciding to take rest..

There have been several occasions where I quit gambling half way simply because I was losing too much, and withdraw the funds left back to my private wallet, though this is not to say that there haven't been other occasions where I do gamble until my bankroll is empty, but I this mostly on purpose, not out of addiction or anything related.
Each person is really different when it comes on how they do approach or on how they do treat up gambling on which there are really that people who are really not that good on assessing situations on which they do really led up into those bad decisions or things ahead until when things turns out to be bitter and salty then this is where self realization would kick in. Its a very common behavior for most gamblers on having this kind of
approach on which they would really be chasing up losses because they cant really just that accept that they have lost. Once on your mind would really be thinking about recovery of those losses then this would really be triggering out your emotions and would really be making such act on doing gambling as long you do have the funds on your balance or pocket just to make things to be followed on whats up into your mind.
If you are lucky then you might be able to do so but in most cases on which chasing losses does really end up miserable.

I think its because you are playing just to get major profit and this is have been doing before now and it consume a whole lot of time and at the end of everything you just end up either losing everything or back to same amount you started with especially when its virtual sport games because those are the game I normally play because the decision time is very fast and if am making profits it doesn't take much time but the problem is that my greed always get ahead of my gambling and when am experiencing this winning streak I always think to go further to gather more and this always turns out to be my downfall.

Actually, it's happening to everyone especially slot players and can be considered a usual thing that can happen in gambling. It's like destiny is playing with us and testing our patience without realizing that it's the purpose of gambling, to piss us off and let our rage explode by betting more and that results in losing in the end.

It really sucks to see that we ended up playing long but our starting bankroll doesn't even move up a bit or have significant changes.

Because of that scenario, we will be triggered to increase our bet more as it's like we are wasting our time already but with no good profits in return. It's now the start of chasing profits that eventually will lead to chasing losses because of being aggressive.

I'm sure most do have a good experience with that, also in my case. I

It's like how we will react properly during that situation and will remain in a calm state of mind.

But admit it and I'm sure everyone else does. When we already hitting big wins with big amounts then suddenly we will return to our original bankroll and will again start at a low bet amount, it's really a big frustration so instead of being calm, we will just allow ourselves to just rely on luck and continue with that big bet amount regardless of the current status of our bankroll on that game session.

For me, winning and losing is something commonplace. after all, we are well aware that what we are betting on has a risk. if we don't win, we lose. yes, it's that simple. maybe, in the past few years what you experienced was part of our experience. more precisely, the last 10 or 5 years.
now, I gamble only as entertainment even though sometimes emotions lead us to destruction. I think it is very natural, because it is psychologically natural for us humans. occasionally out of control it is commonplace, even if someone has high discipline. anyway, they must have slipped too.

Well, I have a question for you. what do you do with your gambling, and what is the essence of the enjoyment of the gambling session from your personal version. for me, gambling at this time enjoys the moment more. but not for all types of gambling, I mean sports gambling, especially football.
Regarding bankrolls, everyone has their own nominal value. So, I think it's something relative. here I will say, that I enjoy more moments from gambling sessions regardless of the small amount of bets we make. I like the essence more when it comes to sports betting, analyzing it is part of the art in my personal version. whether it's winning or losing, once again I say that it is part of the risk.
So, to prevent me on things like you said in this post. My mindset is reversed, I'm not after money. I mean, not too focused on the victory that I will get. but more on predictions, and adrenaline while enjoying watching a match. that's it, that's enough. the rest let luck decide. if I win I'm happy, if I lose it doesn't matter, it's that simple.

You should have put up a poll for this because this is an interesting topic that deserves a poll, honestly, I keep betraying myself when there's a point that I am on winning, the mindset change from having fun to keeping on going until I recover my previous losses because it's not every day that you have the opportunity to have a winning run it's not fun anymore and it has become a challenge and you want to increase your bankroll so you can withdraw big amount.

Hi OP;  what are you talking about, five losing streaks are nothing if you measure them in the number of bets, losing streaks are measured usually in time for weeks, and perhaps in some case, the extreme, hours, but winning or losing five bets... is random.

On the other hand, what games, if you want to vary the bets in traditional games, use the bots that allow you to program the bets in percentage growth. (e.g.)

Or, play tournament poker, where your bets vary as you progress.  Anyway, I think you have a wrong approach to the situation or you don't explain it well.

This is very common among gamblers but you have to fight it because if you want to be very successful at gambling, you have to be doing it right and not letting your emotions make decisions for you. If you're gambling don't chase loss, just move on if you lose continuously.

Whenever I lose on shot bets for a number of times I stop immediately, I use small amounts to gamble so it doesn't put me in debts and to avoid getting into those debts I stop when I noticed I'm not having a lucky day. I bet both on slots games and soccer.

Whenever I loss, I have the mindset that it wasn't my day and comes back another time to play. I start with the same bet I lost but not because I'm trying to make up for what I lost the last time but because I want to try my luck again believing things will be different.

This is a common thing and often happens to many gamblers where they initially play casual gambling but after getting several wins, they think it is their lucky day so they have to use it well. But the reality isn't always what they expect because usually, after winning many times, they can immediately experience defeat. And if they don't have good self-control, they will try to recover their losses by continuing to gamble. But instead, it will bring another loss where they might increase the bet amount because they think they can immediately recover their losses if they win. But again, that's not how it happened because it could trigger a big defeat. I usually play not using big money and whatever the result, I will stop immediately because I don't want to run out of all the money at once.

I'm not consistent for long-term betting, besides I don't combine strategies in betting, especially about financial management, to be honest I find it difficult to do bankroll management in betting on online gambling sites, moreover doing win and lose limits for me personally, it really makes me think long and hard.

Basically I bet on online gambling sites, based on fun by placing a small budget, winning and losing is not a big problem for me, let alone do win/lose limits, besides the betting bankroll that I have is not too strong to bet on and I am not a disciplined or professional bettor in gambling, for that I sometimes gamble in an emotional state, in essence I bet on the basis of pleasure and experience only.

People can talk all day but I think the majority of posters in this sub-section unfortunately are just spam posting without any real knowledge or experience. You want to see an actual case study, ongoing and with data stretching back to 5 seasons ago, focusing almost only on longshot betting?

Than I introduce my own thread (sorry for the self promo). In all honesty, this season is probably not the best to look at, barely 70 games. I don't expect future seasons to be much more as priorities in my life have shifted drastically, but in past seasons when I had more time, you will see several hundred bets, almost daily at some point.

They're generally all longshot bets, and not only am I keeping track of prediction, I'm also showing evidence of actual bets. Plus, calculating profit and loss as units. So you see an actual profit loss tally, and not based on percentage (which hides a lot of bad-performances from tipsters), but on actual units profit/loss.

Longshot betting, aided by some value estimation (given odds versus actual performance), and value maximisation (using price boosts, promos) can get you pretty far, without betting too heavily.

Whenever greed interfere in your gambling and you think you will grab every thing and will get much profit that is the point which leads you to loss. So keep your emotions and greed out  when you are gambling. When you become addict so you will be in loss. And gamble only that amount which you can afford. Means if you loss so it doesn't effect on your health or emotions.
