Like are you asking where do we store bitcoins
or like how do we manage to store bitcoins.

For the answer to the first question.
Most of the people trust blockchain to store theirBTC
but there are many other wallets where you can store bitcoins.
Now coming to the next question
many people do store bitcoins as they have a greed in them like when the value of BTCBTC increase they will convert it into their currency.
But few people prefer to use it rather and satisfy themselves  Smiley

I use a wallet on the blockchain, because it is free, easy to use and the security system seems very strong to me. Every time I have to enter ID, password, get a confirmation letter on my email and confirm the attempt to log in. Then if everything is okay I can enter my wallet on another link. And blockchain is warning me that I'm not really secured. Well, I think the system is reliable and I don't want to pay for keeping my btc.

I store my bitcoin in a desktop wallet in a computer that is encrypted and never online, it is a mistake to store an significant amount of money in an online wallet since you are not the sole possessor of your private keys and you are subject to hacks.

Some would also say it's a mistake to store a huge amount of bitcoins on a computer - offline or online - as they're so susceptible by nature to a variety of disasters, versus something such as an encrypted multisig paper wallets.
I don't know any of them, but if there are people that really think like that, then literally no form of storing coins will nurse their feeling of security. It's beyond being ultra paranoid.

From my understanding, there is no better option than storing your digital wallet files offline in numerous usb drives and other hdd's.

That also goes up for paper wallets if they are created under the right circumstances. That's why it comes handy to have an old fashion printer without any features beside its main purpose.

USB's are just computers which means they're just as susceptible as desktop apps. I don't think one can be ultra paranoid when it comes to their life savings (which is the amount of coins I'm saying that computers aren't secure enough, I'm talking about a lot).
Believe me, I know how susceptible and prone to breaking computers can be, but since I have knowledge in computers I prefer to deal with those risk than to risk to create a paper wallet, and then worry for fires, thieves, deterioration of the paper, damage by water and a long string of other risks that I’m not prepared to deal with.

I have an overwhelming portion of the Bitcoin I owned stored either in a lightweight wallet I own or I have them stored on an online wallet hosted by blockchain.

If I cared more about the security of small amounts of funds I would be placing a lot more of them into wallets I have on external hard drives I have stored away.

I'm using a desktop wallet, Electrum to be specific. I'd be afraid of using a paper wallet, it can get damaged really easily and I find storing documents hard and annoying . It's easier to keep the file on a usb stick.

threads full of idiots who don't know what they're talking about.
Your coins are as safe as you want em to be. Just don't click any weird links
At least some of them start their posts with a capital letter Wink

It is always wise to store your bitcoin in more than two places including hardware and online wallet. If you are holding a good amount of bitcoin, prefer to keep majority of your holding in your hardware wallet and never disclose the account number to anyone. Keep small amounts in online wallets for quick transfer and trading purpose.

This way you can keep most of your holdings safe and away from hackers. Even if the online wallet gets hacked, you will still have the majority in your hardware wallet. never keep all your bitcoins in a single place.

Jaxx.io is all the wallet I need.  I don't hold a lot, nor do I want a lot.  Btw, when is jaxx going to support monero?
I am using rush wallets for now and they have been working fine for me since a long time, actually a new service and I am a early adopter of it. Some people told me that xapo is now asking identity which I wonder is a scam attempt ?

I store Bitcoin in my hardisk wallet so it is impossible to steal my Bitcoin. My wallet is secure enough even if my harddisk has been stolen, there will be a way to recover those Bitcoin
I preffer like to store my bitcoin in online wallet, becouse it is so practicaly. I can easily withdraw my profit from trading to my online wallet. Its litle risky to talk about it.

Yes, me too, if I have now good enough number of bitcoin, maybe that would be my move too, put it on the online wallet in bitcoin value because it is growing as the bitcoin value increases when you have  it on you online wallet and have it save.

I had kept the Bitcoins in your wallet on your computer and the backup on a flash drive, but the wallet already weighs more than 100 GB, hard sync, so sent over the Internet services and exchange and store
