I store my bitcoins at Coinbase wallet. I think it can be stolen, this is a reason why I don't really trust online wallet,  but I still use it @-@
to me i store my bitcoin in blockchain and yobit to me i think it s one of the most trusted and secure online wallet i do not prefer to any other wallet because i always consider blockcain and yobit the best online wallet.
I think yobit is an exchange dude? many people who recommend not overconfident or save a lot of your bitcoin in exchange site, of course you know what happened in bitfinex and mt GOX right ?

This is true, but not only for exchanges or online wallets but any site where you need to store coins like casinos or marketplaces, it is simply not a good idea to store any significant amount of BTC in a wallet where you don't get sole possession of your private keys.

I store my bitcoins in a offline wallet, I right now as example use a paper wallet its offline and due to that very safe.

Offline wallets are the best, they are a safe and can almost not get hacked on a simple way, I really think that its a good option if you are having a large amount of bitcoins.

It is risky but you can certain small amount kept on exchanges.
Why is that good? You can react fast if dump occurs or wait for alts to wake up like Dogecoin recently

Just dont get goxxed. Only keep on the exchange what you would use for trading. If you dont controll the private key, they are not your coins, but a mere promise from someone you probably dont even know.
Yes its is risky but how to trade without exchanges?
All those manipulations can increase your holding at the end.. Why not take advantage of that?

There are wallets as Xapo, that allow you to convert your bitcoins to FIAT rigth away, however the fund will stay on that wallet, if you need to withdrawl it , then you need to convert to BTC again, and send it to some external exchanges .

Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
for me i am save it in wallet online , i think this is more easy to open everywhere ..
if software wallet in laptop, you have to bring it if you wanna go to everywhere ..
if wallet online this is more easy
using desktop wallet will be more complicated because when you're going to open your wallet you have to bring your laptop,
while the online wallet can be opened anywhere. and I think the online wallet is also quite safe if you add 2FA
That's why some people still prefer to use online wallet regardless to the security which is poor and can easily make you lose your money if you are saving for a long time. But desktop wallet nowadays could be integrated to your wallet in mobile so, its function is actually as the same as online wallet but it just can't be accessed without special app but, still nowadays people are already having some sort of gadget with advanced technology.

I stored all of my bitcoin in online bitcoin wallet blockchain. Blockchain is my first bitcoin wallet and i don't have any issue so far, that's why i trust blockchain to stored all my bitcoins. Actually i never try a offline wallet in my computer, because it's a bit risky if our computer get a virus or something bad.

People learn only when they get burned. I'm reading comments and I noticed how many people keep their coins on exchange, or online wallets. That is OK as long there isn't big problem's, but what will happen if they crash? What will happen with your coins?
Keep your coins safe, pay more attention on security. I learned my lesson on hard way, and even there is many threads and comments we are lazy to do something. Don't wait, protect yourself before shit start to happen.

Actually sir I am using online wallets for now. As we can see, their is complains in the online wallet. But because it is a online we need to be careful, anytime the online wallets has shutdown all your money will be lost.
I'm using online wallet cause I got only small value of bitcoin maybe later I will change my online wallet to cold for protection of my money.

I store my bitcoins into a paper wallet because that is just very safe and its offline so you cannot access it easily too.
Lol I know it will be very safe, but it would be very complicated when you're going to do bitcoin transactions. better use online wallet, and add the authentication will be very safe and flexible

Having even a hardware wallet is comprising the bitcoins stored on it.
When you access it over a network that has a computer that is infected with malware either with coinstealer software or ransomware installed on it you never know until it is to late.
I think the only way to be completely safe is have an offline linux box to access hardware wallets.

I use a wallet on the blockchain, because it is free, easy to use and the security system seems very strong to me. Every time I have to enter ID, password, get a confirmation letter on my email and confirm the attempt to log in. Then if everything is okay I can enter my wallet on another link. And blockchain is warning me that I'm not really secured. Well, I think the system is reliable and I don't want to pay for keeping my btc.
Just be careful with online wallets since hackers are always looking for ways to get access to those sites and get to your coins, if you really need to use an online wallet then enable two factor authentication and only keep there bitcoin you are going to spend in the near term.

Yup, nothing is wrong with using an online wallet as a "hot wallet" that you only keep spending money on to go shopping with. However don't treat it like your savings account that you keep your entire retirement in, that's what hardware/offline/paper wallets are for!

Mostly I usually prefer to use online web wallet service which also offer you privatekeys of you bitcoin wallet address. Having private keys of your own bitcoin address is very important to keep your bitcoins safe and secure.

Even user can also use clod storage or paper wallets to keep their bitcoins safe. Still would like to recommend higher security for your wallet service.
