First Payment Gateway using GoldBacked cryptocurre

^^^^^^If you see the above error, that is because you put in the image link and not direct link, what you need is the Direct Link of the image [red box below], if you use imgur.com copy direct link and wrap the link between the img link opening and closing tag
Code:
put your direct link here, must be direct link with the image file name must present here
Code:
[/img]
so it must be like this
Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/ieYo0EJ.jpg[/img]
Notice the image file name must be there, in the above example it is [ieYo0EJ.jpg]

Or if you want a quick way copy the BBCode (message boards and forums) code [shown in the yellow box below] and then just paste it into SMF preview editor no need to wrap it with any tags

Hello,

I am trying to insert image between [img] tag, but when I am previewing it, It shows only image url rather than image, kindly help/guide me.

Thank you in advance.

You need to be a junior member to be able to post images.

This is what I am facing now

thanks, so this is why i can't post image. we have to be a junior member first.

If i have over 40 posts and 30 activity exactly is there a reason why i am still a newbie =(

does replying to messages count towards the juinior status

Not unless you have someone respond to it as well i think.

but on this topic if a newbie posts pictures and then is upgraded to a jr member will his pictures automatically display or will the imgur links still display

I recently made a post about it, you just need to follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Upload your image to site like https://imgur.com/. Then right click on the image to Copy Image Address/Location. You will get some link like this: https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg
  • Step 2: Use the following code in your post, your image will show:

Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg[/img]

This is what you will see after you insert the above code in your post:
https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg

HOW TO RESIZE YOUR IMAGE?

You can add width and height to the code to resize image, the code will look like this:
Code:
[img width=200 height=150]https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg[/img]

What you will see after resizing:
https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg

HOW TO MAKE THE IMAGE CLICKABLE?

If you want your image to be clickable (once click redirect to another website), you can use the following code in your post:

Code:
[url=https://bitcointalk.org][img]https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg[/img][/url]

This way once you click the image, it will take you to another website (in my example bitcointalk homepage). You can try below:

https://i.imgur.com/lUr20xA.jpg

Note:
- Newbie CANNOT post image.
- imgur link MUST have a jpg/jpeg/png extension. Also link to an album in imgur will result in proxy error.

thanks a lot, it is very useful

does anyone know how to resize the photo we are going to upload?

There are a lot of sites where you can upload your images to. I really like: https://postimages.org/. You get links to different formats of you picture and when uploading you can choose the size of your picture. Just try it. It's the best I found.
