I have the same issue. Im trying to add an image between tags, but nothing happens. Can you check what is going on?

If you're looking to paste an image on your screen on a post, I recommend Gyazo! It's really handy when I want to post a picture of something on my screen as I just click and drag and the URL form of the image pops up. I find this a lot easier than uploading to imgur and then posting the link, it's less time consuming.
I just checked out Gyazo but you need to download the program?

Some people can upload images, but I never can. I just do not get it. It should be easy, but it is not.
Ohhhhhh. So it has to be on imgur.com. That is why I can never seem to upload a image on Bitcointalk. Thanks a lot.

had the same question -- turns out, for Avatar images or "Profile pics" you cannot upload them until you reach Full Member status (120 posts) and, that way, kind-of have earned your stripes...

Yes, you are right! That's why, profile pic is banned. But I think, both will be implemented in New Forum!

We won't see the avatar feature back before the new forum software...
If I recall correctly, there was an hacker last year which managed to abuse the forum by using avatars.
Not sure how that's possible, but they have been disabled since.

and u open the image then copy the link of the image
then paste it using
format

You use the [img] tags. They can also be embedded with links, and other tags.
