1. For imgur.com you need to upload the image first (obviously)

2. Then right-click on uploaded image and select "Copy Image address"

Then put that link between  [ img ] and [ \img ] tags (You'll get it by pressing "insert image" button)

3. The link should be like this:
https://i.imgur.com/L4yeYlJ.png

But NOT like this:
https://imgur.com/a/LjidG

Later is redirect, it will give you image proxy error:

Enjoy your image.

Once a man, twice a child!
It's about time Sir Theymos or these moderators here: nanotube, Luke-Jr, SomeoneWeird looked into this issue and get it resolved. It has lingered far than necessary over the years. Except someone unveils to us that there is a business partnership between imgur and BTT. Otherwise, I don't see any reason we should be going through imgur just to post a picture here.

Hello,

I am trying to insert image between [img] tag, but when I am previewing it, It shows only image url rather than image, kindly help/guide me.

Thank you in advance.

You need to be a junior member to be able to post images.

This is what I am facing now

are you able to have another higher member quote you and display the images?

Write a couple of posts (2-3) a day, your activity will go up.

I think this should be changed. Some new accounts may be for active blockchain members who are just new to this forum—and they have to reach 30 posts very much for no reason.

Yeah, it will be cool

For some reason my activity has stuck at 28 for last two week, but my post number is increasing, is that normal?

It's not stuck. You just don't understand how activity works. You can only get 14 activity every two week period.

Im also looking for same. never find out proper answer for how to post or upload image On Bitcointalk

Read through this thread. You can't as a Newbie unless you purchase the Copper Membership: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/newbies-can-now-pay-a-small-fee-to-enable-images-2385104

Then you just upload it to a filehost such as imugr then link to it here with the image tags:
Code:
[img] [/img]
