Hi, everyone sorry have not came in here for so long as I was tasked to seed content for Bitget previously. They were damn dubious and sketchy with how they work and I have left them and just wanted to let everyone know of their marketing tactics. Do beware and hope you guys can spread the word!!

TAKE NOTE of seeded Bitget accounts doing this as that's how they operate!!

some newbies are getting into crypto and the main thing they think about is profit and earning is not wrong. but it's good to know in advance what are the risks and benefits when getting into crypto. Earning in crypto is not only from investing, there are still many ways to do it. Investing is only the easiest way and can be done by anyone if you have capital, but if you don't have knowledge about investing, it will result in losses.

The best way to start in crypto is to learn the characteristics of crypto, its advantages and disadvantages and what to avoid. This forum is a great place to start learning about cryptocurrencies.

Hi everyone, I would like to ask a very simple question on how to start on crypto if that is what it is called. The idea for me is in hopes I can just earn here and there mainly to help with monthly expenses. Not looking to invest like 5 figures but more of like 3 to 4 figure ranges to create that monthly recurring for my expenses.
If you are mentioning about investment then you can choose top 10 crypto on coinmarketcap. First time, it needs to invest on top crypto currency. It will boost your investment strategy. It has lower risk and high opportunity to get some profit. 3 or 4 digit is enough for investment if you enter market in right time.

Your aim is to maintain monthly income, This is only suitable for trading types that work from time to time.  So I think you should learn how to trade, it will serve the purpose that you want to build in this space.

You need to understand the fact that trading is not for everyone and majority (specially newbies) lose money in short term trading. Crypto trading is full of wild swings in both directions. Take example of today, BTC was 45k in the morning and fell down to 40k in the evening after China ban on crypto news came.
This read, though not specifically related to crypto may help you understanding the trading risks.

One cannot enter cryptocurrency if one wants to because cryptocurrency is not such a place. Before entering here, one has to acquire enough knowledge. In particular, before investing in cryptocurrency, you must know about the project, you need to know the updated news about the market, otherwise you will face a big risk.

In crypto world you can make profit in several ways. First, you can trade, this is a way to get more money, you can trade in different exchange services. Second, you can earn in playing games like play to earn in different project in crypto you must be participating in gaming. Lastly, you can invest in different crypto, there's a lot of good future ,i recommended bitcoin.

Before you think about profits you should learn first the several types of scams since mostly there are so many attempt created to scam those people who believe that there's a easy money in crypto  so its good to research first before going anywhere and if you also want to trade don't just go since many buy it monitor and study before we enter the market, its hard to buy at the top and cry when the dip so learn what other mistake and earn with it.

Can you please explain what kind of scams can i expect as a beginner?
I'll help you out.

There are plenty of scams that are rotating in the crypto market. Like those ponzi and pyramiding schemes which is also happening in real life. There goes the pump and dump scheme that shall ask you to join to a group and will collect some fees from you in return of market signals as you trade.

But that's likely a scam and you'll just be losing money from there.

The idea for me is in hopes I can just earn here and there mainly to help with monthly expenses. Not looking to invest like 5 figures but more of like 3 to 4 figure ranges to create that monthly recurring for my expenses.

Its possible to earn and support your monthly expenses on crypto but you cannot expect more on it especially when you are in starting phase, you possibly face so many challenges and to many scams that possibly will lure you so before going on something you better learn the basics and don't do any shortcuts on the valuable information you can get maybe you can start to learn on how to trade since this one could help you figure out how difficult to earn and you can also discover things which can help you to successfully earn on crypto.

Can you please explain what kind of scams can i expect as a beginner?

Ponzi schemes like promising you to earn passive daily income without doing anything with bigger return, also scam tokens created by dev so be careful on choosing this since there are so many scam tokens created and never hold them for long term always trust the top coin which have huge volume listed since they are quite good to be choose with. Lastly dealing with p2p without having an escrow so make sure to have escrow if you are dealing with unknown guys over the net there are so many trusted escrows available around so insist to have them and ignore if they don't want to use escrow since scammers always denied this.

Until your account is capable to join in any form of the bounty campaign. Where in the end you can earn altcoins without investment involve. though you are allowed to invest in the project but of course its depend in your hands.

Well, starting is easy, and this is by first and foremost registering on a local or international crypto exchange which supports deposits of your local currency to the exchange, which will then allow you to exchange the money for any crypto currencies of choice, if you go through this successfully, then congratulations for making your first investment in crypto.

Meanwhile, there are still other ways by which one can start earning crypto (sometime for free) and one of this is by participating in Airdrops, participating in bounty campaigns which requires you performing some certain tasks to get paid at either in the projects own token or stable coins like usdt and rhe rest.

Good advice for new comers is that never jump with huge capital. " Never invest money that you can't afford to lose (source). " Crypto seems very attractive these days but only from outside, once you jump in you can feel the heat as its not that easy to earn profit even in this bullish market.
Always start slowly no matter which trading market you are in. Tech Analysis and Fundamental Analysis are great way to learn how market will behave in future.
Actually this should be the mindset need to bring by newbies and since they are starting up they shouldn't invest rush to earn immediately since for sure they will end up being scam by those people which they think can help them earn money. And its good to start with free and the options given by @fivestar4evermvp is right is good to start but it takes time before you can see earn on those things. Also you can invest time to read more articles and to became knowledgeable on crypto since if you are well educated about it for sure you will earn from various task around especially if we talk about trading where technical skills are so important.

You mean how to start investing in crypto currencies? Buy some from an exchange (either directly from them or p2p). Move them out from the exchange and store it safely in a wallet (hardware wallet for the best security). Make sure you know how to use those wallets like encrypting and keeping backups of the wallet. You shouldn't rely on your investment to help you with monthly expenses. The market is volatile. You might make some profit in a month and the next month you might be in loss. You have to hold them long term to make some good profit. But if you are talking about earning crypto using this forum, then head over to the service section. Open a thread and sell your skills.

A lot of things you can do to earn I think they were referring to signature campaign which a company will ask you to wear their signature on your profile, make post and earn that's one of the ways to earn here but there's a lot of things you can do such as selling something in exchange with cryptocurrency, give professional service, offer skills and also you can apply to bounty campaigns and airdrops where startup projects run a campaign and all you have to do is to apply do the work and earn their coin but be careful most of the projects are useless/worthless so review first the project before joining bounty campaigns.

Well before we can say that joining in signature campaigns will be ideal for starter since they can earn by joining on any available camp if they reach the minimum required by the manager but unfortunately you cannot start with it right now as the forum implement the merit to rank rule so for sure those new users will take a long time to join on camps since its hard to rank up right now. But if they can able to join on bounty campaigns like joining on facebook or any social media campaigns or even article creating maybe from this they can start to earn some crypto here.

Thank you for mentioning that. Now that being said, OP must then seek to know what are the considerations that must be met when deciding to join signature or bounty campaigns, and even investing to make it official on the participants’ list. It is also good to explore every possible opportunity there is in crypto, to upskill, and upgrade income as well.

Before earning crypto, first, you have to buy some. You need some to experience what its like, because only after that point will you begin to understand anything about it.

I'll tell a very short version of my story about how my profession switched to cryptocurrency: I hated my old career, took a skill I was always pretty good at and applied that to a new job search, that next job was the gateway to a free-er way of living.

Knowledge is power as we hear. Obviously, as per what you said, you may have to trade to earn from crypto (not the only way but the most common). Now, trading isn't fully about your capital, it's more of your strategy. I have seen people who started trading from little amount of money and have eventually turned it into bigger amounts. If you do not learn how to trade, you may eventually lose any money you invest. Some people pay for people to trade and give them returns, but, remember they are humans too and can lose your money because no one decides the market, besides, I have never seen an honest person doing that service; just telegram scammers who will run with your money. Just start learning how to trade, with time, you'll learn to trade enough to achieve your monthly target.

There is a very strong belief with the crypto world that everything has to do only with the cryptomarket, trade, and in general only selling and buying, but there is such a large and extensive collateral related to crypto that there are several areas to start.

In fact your concern should be on the Beginners & Help board, since you are in 1 satoshi of knowledge, it is very bad to give financial advice to people who are starting.

So having said all that, do not invest (today...) and If you do it is not easy to make this your profession.

Stroll through the forum, read and study all that information, I would only add if that is your idea of where you want to channel your "investment" is that it does not take much to start gaining... "experience," after that you will understand that you should be willing to lose part of the 4 or five figures you want to start with.
