i def plan on going long on ethereum noone says u have to hold a million but i agree def has potential, better to have a few than none if it takes off one day or grows over time like it has been.

That is right. I think the price of ETH has further to go.
With a year we are looking at $1,000 per ETH. We won't see ETH this cheap for sometime.
I hope also ethereum price will increase $1000 each ether. And I think maybe this year or the next  year the price will  be like that. The price today is 300 dollars plus and everyweek the price continue to increase. I hope they increase more so I can make a lot of profit . More ethereum more money . So its better to buy ethereum and wait for the good result because you can earn money .

I think this pump will end soon, irrationality levels are off the charts. A lot of shilling is going on and the hype seem to have peaked. I wouldn't be surprised to see eth going for 500$ in a last big push, then a slow bleed for the next year down to 200-250 if not more.

Since there is better technology being developed right now, I don't really see a reason to hold it long term.

I put in about $100 into ETH yesterday and plan on putting another $100 in today. Last I checked, it was around $3 per ETH and now it's at $19 which is absolutely great.

How many of you have invested in ETH and how far do you think it will go in the next couple of years?
I have invested in ethereum about 20 ETH and have plan investments up to 100 ETH for long time investments, if the developers of ETH keeps make innovations in ethereum network also many projects be builded on ethereum network, ethereum's price will become $100 in couples years later.

Well those people that believe in bitcoin should believe and invest with ETH either. This is the one of the most promising alt coin next to bitcoin. We know that it's $2 on the coin market cap but the thing is that when btc is pumping ETH is dumping so that's why you need to take advantage of it. Just like op had done, what a great job.

I was an early miner of ethereum, it started wall, really, but now it is just a mass of methods, it is always hard to run an ethereum node, i don't want parity or annother third party, it is somewhat complicated when it comes to run a ETC chain also, the problem is that it is still too much complicated.
I like the ipc interface, the methods are great, and provides a complete set of functions to manage the node in many aspects with call backs, but it is a development environment, not an integration environment.
Talking about integration, the world champion of integration is bitcoin, and both currencies are not comparable, bitcoin is stable, solved his shady past, well established, easy to use and integrate.
Now for support, in he ethereum side, it depends on your luck and/or support platform, you can have answers, and you can wait for days befor having something, it is worst when it comes to ETC.
For bitcoin, just ask and you will received hundreds of answers, support is important when it comes to adoption, and this is why eth will fail. The price doesn't means it is adopted, the price can be faked, easily.
Never use the price as a reliability token, exceptionally when it comes to volumes.

It is really hard to make a prediction, but even the price is high now, the profit potential for the future is brilliant.

I truly believe in Ethereum's future. I like the idea of Smart Contracts, and how they work. In my opinion it is in many ways better than bitcoin, and might some day pass bitcoin in monetary value. But that won't be happening any time soon. So I think long-term ethereum will just keep slowly rising in price.

Luckily I have purchased or bought some ETH on those times when it was dumping or on bearish trend for about $7 on the price and anybody is on panic and always said that ETH is going to die but I didn't listen to those speculation and assumptions instead I buy ETH because I believe to its potential and my hopes doesn't fail me and now it increased almost reaching out 3x on my initial investment and I plan to hold on for more.

IMO all thing tha want do ETH on their blockchain will couse nice mess and will reqire a lot of storage.
Today people have problems with 1MB block and 100GB blockchain. Imagine then ETH with 10MB 20MB blocks in 10 years people will need about  1TB-20TB to keep that blockchain.
Etherum price rise is killing stuff for projects becouse Ethereum is fuel, if fuel is to expensive people don't use that chain

Eth can go 10x and boom that is all

you can never predict the top price of a bubble no matter what coin it is, you can predict the rise to some extent and have some vague idea how much it will go up but you can never tell the maximum price of that pump.
in this case you could have said price will be pumped to 0.018-0.02BTC but you can never tell when it is going to end. it depends on lots of factors that are all unpredictable.

ETH is the best crypto to be used as a currency right now. It also has Smart contract capabilities so will be a gud investment even at these current low prices. Prepare the launchpad.

I think the price will skyrocket eth with 3 digits in 2018, with their smartcontract and the proliferation dev ico that uses eth, opening up new opportunities to increase the price eth over 200x.

It will go to DONKEY DICK before it goes to Saturn.  You can bet your money on that.  Oh, wait!  You were fool enough to do that already.  ETH is a losing proposition, my friend.  Same as all these other superfluous pieces of mouse shit that you all call altcoins.  If you can get in and out quickly and make dough on that, go for it.  But holding on to any of these flytraps is like trying to hold onto the world's net output of fucking diarrhea.  You're going to get dirty and it's going to suck for you.  Don't say I didn't warn you.

It is a better thing for you that after the buy of the ETH by you the price of the ETH got increases and luckily with the small dump it is going increases slowly without stopping .
Here we can't predict for any altcoin Because any coin can go fall down at any time without any hint before .
So here I will suggest you to invest in another altcoins also , so that you can understand that how you can make a pure profit through multiple altcoins trading .

If the ETH does not go to PoS soon and it is distributed more evenly, the price will rise a lot.
Eth will do it. But based on the vitalik's statement if there is no deadline for the casper pos.
