Reputable and established gambling websites never do such a thing like what the OP has mentioned unless the said websites were not that reputable and not legit gambling websites. But I am not disagreeing that some gambling websites system isn't really provably fair and was meant to cheat players.
No doubt some gambling sties still cheat the gamblers, but you also know that gamblers are not innocent that they can't recognized that which sites is scam or which sites is doing properly work. Now in this time, it is too much easy to judge about gambling sites.

Not all are using blockchain tech to thier platform some are still centralized while some are only using the name blockchain to gain attraction but deep inside their real main purpose is to scam inoscent people . when it comes to trust matters i think the activities that you mention above has nothing to differ with gambling . if a site is legit , they are legit but if a site is dis honest they will do some inapropriate things . however some still thinks that gambling can cheat us just because they cannot win easily . they dont know that its only normal .
Certainly. There are so many websites who do that and have a tag of blockchain but does not really know a thing about the blockchain technology. This is important and high time to do some good research about how a legit website, their team and services looks like. This will help us get rid of the websites which are scam and loot the users. I heard on the forum that there are so many websites who block you messages and do not provide proper service if you wish to withdraw after a win.

KYC is something that is looked down up in the crypto sphere. The casino is having the upper hand here because the person got the money from shady activity and the casino was used as a bypass for offshoring the money. They do can anytime cheat you if they wanted to but for those who are really aiming for longer terms profits then they wont tend to cheat out because that would ruin their reputation

They will prevent from making the member disappointing in many ways, and they will not do that because they are losing the trust of the member, it means a lot to them. They will lose their reputations, and they lose the member too, and that is doubly lost. So they will protect their member by not cheating them, and they will give the best services to them.

There is so much transparency with Bitcoin sprtsbooks that I find this tactic impossible.
It would have to be a total scam site and with 2fa options and others, I dont see this happening.

As for me, it's hard for them to gain trust so I think they won't do things that might affect their site. However, we should also do our part to be observant because we might not get cheated on sites but scammers are just roaming around and looking for new victims.

so a bet roll is generated using 1 & 2, which ensures there is no cheat.
Now consider this
1> your account is hosted on there website, all it takes is 1 command to database to delete your whole account and you will not prove anything.
suppose a user deposited 10 BTC, the website can simply delete his account and claim its never been created, so what use are your secrets hash.
2> or they can alter your password and claim its been hacked and its your responsibility
[ remember : password is saved as hash in the database, so they cannot know your password but they can definitely change it , and claim its been hacked]
