what about when I deposit to the site but the balance in the account doesn't increase. does that include the gambling site scam or am I wrong in entering my money?

Well either there is some technical error on the site, such as their bitcoin daemon crashed and they weren't processing deposits/withdraws and it will get fixed eventually. This happens sometimes from time to time especially with coins like ETH since the blockchain is so large.

However when this happens it can also mean you sent it to the wrong address by getting some malware on your computer which is called the clipboard virus which basically waits until a BTC address is copied and it pastes the thief's BTC address when you go to send the coins. They never arrive at the destination because you sent it elsewhere. This is common, especially with newbies with Windows 10 which is full of bugs.

If its neither, then most likely the gambling site is a scam and they are cheating you. But you can easily avoid this just by taking time to read some reviews on Bitcointalk first.

Those are hypothetical situations... Not everyone thinks on scamming their Users that way.
Let's face it, if someone would want to do that they would be negating any profitable user in their end.
If an High Roller gets to be hit with that sort of cheat, they will eventually leave the Casino.

But its more profitable for them to selective scam customers that deposit large amounts.  They can't make enough noise to warn other players.   Scam casinos do things like changing your address, deleting your account, running indefinite KYC check, calling you a cheater and voiding your play.
This should be understood that not all the gambling sites are legit and genuine. There are different way in which the costumers and users in the gambling sites are cheated and manipulated. Not all of them are cheaters. But yeah those who want to make money in gambling should know the ABC of gambling. Without enough knowledge, I believe you bets could be risky.

I still have some doubt about the provably fair system as how much fair it is. ~

It is absolutely fair actually, and you can google it and research it by yourself, check out the following explanation for instance:

https://themerkle.com/how-provably-fair-gambling-protocols-work/

But if it's still confusing I can try to explain in simple words and with a down-to-earth example, what it is in essence. Imagine playing with your friend a game the rules of which are very simple: if you guess right whether a number is going to be even or odd, you are the winner. And if you are wrong in guessing, you are losing your bet. Now, the number. You agree that it is going to be the sum of two numbers, one provided by you and the other one provided by your friend. Your friend writes down a number, puts it in an envelope and seals it, and gives it to you. And, without opening the envelope, you say your number, say "5". Now your friend tells you that you lost, because you've guessed that the sum was going to be an even number, but it's an odd number because his number was "6". You don't need to trust him, you can open the envelope and see whether he is telling the truth or not.

Hope that helps. And, sorry if it's still confusing. I thought, my explanation was going to be shorter and better, but maybe I failed in that.

I haven't got cheated by any of the gambling websites, but with users posting about the issues encountered with the gambling websites related to payment I found that majority face problem by the time of withdrawal. When requested for support the team comes forward with terms ind conditions along with some rules framed. So better is to go through all these before depositing to gamble.
Usually on most cases most player do really faced up with withdrawal problems.Anytime it can really happen even on the most popular or reputable gambling sites as of this moment.
Its inevitable but it shouldnt matter the most because you would able to know which site do have fastest or good customer support when it comes on solving the issues.
Cheating is there but as a business owner you wont really tend to tarnish your reputation for a few dollars.
I myself have never experienced that either. yeah usually the problem is like that. when the site can't pay a large withdrawal amount, or they don't give the jackpot the player gets (I've heard this news). but I have never seen any cases of fraud about provably fair, house edge or something like that

It is not in the interest of gambling sites to cheat their users. I am talking about reputable and trusted crypto casinos. They have no reason to do that as the casino has always the house edge which is guaranteed to bring profits to the casino in the long term.

I know though that many not well known crypto casinos may play tricks on you or even worse scam you.

I agree, for established online casinos cheating is not to their advantage. They can lose thousands times more, by ruining their reputation, than the amount they can steal from someone. Many people still think that all gambling sites are cheaters, and that any "picture" can be shown to you on your computer screen, and that only fools believe in fairness of those sites. The good thing is that we shouldn't trust any site, even a reputable one, since we can check their fairness, but it's impossible to explain the provably fair system to those skeptics.

I still have some doubt about the provably fair system as how much fair it is. And i think this cannot be challenged. However with the trusted  and old sites you will never get any problem related to site or withdrawal etc. Also their support system is also very good and the point is that they will never exit scam. You cannot be sure of these things for a gambling casino or site which is recently been introduced.

I agree with you, gambling and online casinos is a very huge lucrative business, and they are all fighting for gamblers trust, it's hard for stable gambling sites to have an issue like this because it could ruin the business that took them years to set up, but there is still issue about withdrawal in some stable gambling sites.
So in this matter I only can say that don’t trust any site that you are not sure about it, I know we use to see so many adds in market being advertise about gambling with them at safe and secret status but instead of trusting what they say, investigate what they use to do, ask those who has been gambling with them, because they will say only good about themselves.
Always seek out for community feedbacks because this is one of the most important things for you to rely on when you do
tend or decide which gambling site you would choose to play on.Even reputable gambling sites do experience issues but the good
ones do able to resolve it no matter what and just being said building up reputation isn't really that simple and it do takes years.

Those kind of site owners don't end up rich eventually because their scheme will be exposed soon as they think and what they think as their money making machine will just generate headaches for them. So better stick to gambling sites with good reputation and has been up and running for quite some time now.

Majority of the threads made about withdrawals being late are either fake accusations made by newbie sockpuppets to bump their thread until it dies out never to visit the forum again or genuine users who end up getting their issues solved.

If you follow these threads you can yourself understand which is what and how much hardworking some of these casinos are in order to make sure that deserving members get compensated in a manner such that both parties are happy with it. On the other hand fake accusers will beat around the bush and cry out scam while not providing any evidence or giving doubtful claims with no proof.

Yes, that is the major problem with many gamblers, and I think it's not about cheating. But maybe it's about the time for confirming the transaction as we know that when we withdraw bitcoin from one wallet, we need to wait for a while and if the traffic on that network is busy then the confirming time will need longer than usual.

So far, I don't have any problem with the gambling websites, and I haven't got cheated like you and I still playing gambling, make a deposit, withdraw the coin into my wallet.

Gambling sites can cheat with me in many ways. But usually, the gambling site is very less fraud. Because gambling sites come to everyone's fun. No one is investing more capital on gambling sites. Everyone has invested in some of the capital gambling sites and made fun of it. However, the Yes Gambling Site may delete our account. I agree with this completely. Therefore, before investing in the gambling site, take a look at the site's review. There are also many other ways in which gambling can be fraudulent. We should always be careful.

Thank you

There are a lot of complaints about gambling sites in the scam section of this forum, some of them are resolved, it seems if the bettor file a complaint here they will try to resolve, but if not and just go to their support ticket, they will just ignore it, and some of the complaints are those with high winnings.
It maybe some gambling sites owners never wanting to give rewards into the winning players. And good thing that they'll working on it cause if this couldn't be resolved, then they loss their reputation and claims that this is all just a scam strategies.
There is a lot of gambling sites appears but it somehow some of them aren't reliable enough to visit which in some ways that they'll affect the trust of the players.

This is how gambling sites cheat on you, We don't really know what a gambling site holds on the chance in which we can win our bet. For example, in a roullete, we don't know the mechanics of the chance that game holds.

But most gambling sites are fair. It should be one of their characteristics in holding a casino online. If a site is not fair, then, no gamblers will go in there.

If they do that they will be reported but if you want to be safe, only bet on reputable gaming and casino sites, 10 BTC is such a huge amount, you will not trust this amount to a newly launched site and of course, always do a screenshot, in case something bad happens.
Good advise, having a screenshot will give you evidence just in case you noticed some unhonest act from the house, if you have that huge amount to spend it's always better to find gambling house who already gained peoples/gamblers good experiences, learning from old folks who already played
inside the house will give you some additional confidence.
