Sharing secrets and giving advice to others is completely different. I also tell a few close friends about my investments because we care about each other and can help each other out when someone is in trouble. But to give them investment advice in bitcoin, I never did. I think anything related to money has the potential to lead to an emotional breakdown, so I avoid that altogether. While I believe bitcoin is good for me, it will also be good for them. I just hope that one day they see what I have achieved, they will change their mind about bitcoin and go for it on their own.
Only those closest to you should know about your investments, maybe even only your wife / husband, or the closest person, brother or sister, if you have a good relationship. But everything that concerns friends and acquaintances, this should remain a secret, money loves silence.

As for financial advice, I'm of the same position, you shouldn't give anyone any advice, because if they fail, they will blame you. Even if it seems to you that this is very good advice that will surely bring money, refrain from advice. There is no exact algorithm that can enrich everyone, someone will use it correctly and earn money, and someone will understand it in his own way and lose everything.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
Don't talk about our investments or the bitcoins we hold with untrustworthy people, or don't brag on social media, that's the right thing to do. As for parents or spouses, I think we should share everything with them because we make money for them, not just for ourselves. And sharing our assets with those closest to us is also a way of hedging when we have a problem and can't use that bitcoin. Our relatives will inherit that property, don't let them disappear with us, it's a waste.

Maybe I'll never even tell a friend. But I used to post on social media and attract some of my friends to join. But at that time I regretted that they didn't survive and probably had bad thoughts about the investment I made.  So for now I never tell anyone again. Maybe many people think I am gambling and make me look like the wrong person. But I don't mind, I'm always positive. For now only my wife knows very well that I keep Bitcoin. I have a lot of stories about Bitcoin with my wife. So I don't think it really affects much about the secrets of investing in bitcoin. Many people need to know what Bitcoin really means because it will make them grow bigger.

Why do we even need to tell others about our investment?
I mean only few trusted friends and family knows about my investment, I don't think everyone should know about it.
There's no point in sharing it publicly.

The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was that one should not talk about his crypto investments with strangers or friends as it can pose various risks. If you are active on forums like bitcointalk and involved in trades, you should not give information which can help others relate to your identity.

I completely agree with you. This story is a harsh reminder that security is of utmost importance in the world of cryptocurrencies. It's very easy to forget how risky it can be to share information about our investments online, especially on forums where we think we're among like-minded people.

It's crucial to remember that when we talk about cryptocurrencies, we're essentially talking about money, and the information we share can fall into the wrong hands. Sadly, this can lead to situations like the one detailed in the article.

OpenSea is a leading peer-to-peer marketplace for buying, selling, and trading NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). As an expansive platform, OpenSea supports various forms of digital assets, including art, domain names, virtual worlds, trading cards, and more. It provides artists and creators with a unique platform to monetize their digital creations directly and provides buyers with the opportunity to own unique pieces of digital art and other assets. Based on the Ethereum blockchain, OpenSea makes use of cryptocurrency for transactions, further strengthening the connection between the worlds of crypto and digital art. As we progress further into the digital age, platforms like OpenSea continue to redefine how we understand and value art and ownership.

I think this has happened before and we have been reminded about this.
Bitcoin gave us anonymity to invest or use it, so why not use it that way?
We don't really need to publicizes it, it will only attract attention and might get us into trouble.

Is not a good idea to talk or showcase our bitcoin wallet or anything that indicates bitcoin which belongs to us to friends mostly strangers because hundred's of people want the same thing on the Wallet we are holding, I am kinda sorry for the victim but it will sound as a little warning to the victim and others too, if we want to tell or show our bitcoin wallet to some one that should be our parents/family not people out side, although is really tempting to announce to others about bitcoin mostly when we got profits from it.
Bitcoin is not something people will keep to our self's but we should also know the types of persons we should tell.

in this case we have to be able to choose people we can trust, but of course it is very difficult to find good people and right people, but I think the people we can trust are our own parents, because if we tell our assets to people parents, I don't think anything bad will happen because parents certainly can't rob their children's property.

Besides the threats to security that comes with letting other people know you have a wad of money under bitcoin, you are also risking yourself from getting screwed over by your spouse or girlfriends if things went south and you guys get divorced. I read a story just a few weeks ago bout some guy losing out on his investments because his wife found out somehow that he has bitcoin investments, and even though he didn't really tell the wife of anything about it, he was caught thanks to financial statements and tax reports that don't make sense.

So yeah, if you want a happy life, keep your bitcoin investments to yourself, you'd save yourself from the peering eyes, and the people who would want to get a piece of your bitcoin pie, as well as legal problems in the future that may or may not arrive.

It's better to be safe than sorry. I think if we're going to be vocal with our Bitcoin holdings, it's better to use some safe and counter words as if we're no longer have it.

Like, "Yeah, it was a good investment until I've sold and made a profit from it and then I've spent all of my profit for my needs and entertainment."

And from there, you'll stop that you'll put it on their minds that you will still plan to buy it but you don't know when. I know there are friends of us that we can trust but most of them can't. So, if you're gonna be talkative and overwhelmed talking about your assets, always make sure to use safe words and make them believe that you're once into it but not anymore today.

Maybe he talked about his money while drunk.
I know people who are very careful to hide their fortune that they have made in the crypto world. Many people hide a lot of money even from close people. It is not known how a person will behave when he finds out that you are rich. Even the closest person can betray
You have always remember that what you do not say - others will not be able to use against you. How many people have lost their money because of the desire to brag

Interesting story, it'll be useful. Thank you

The matter what death is inevitable there is possibility that people were envy about the guy. In life whatever you do people will hate you. I don't believe it because of the given trading information to friends or customers but because enviness for his appearance and his social lifestyle would make the enemy to strike him to death.

But keeping quiet with you Wealth assets is good because really it will save you from untimely dead and unnecessary attacked by the opposition. There are sometimes that your best friend is the one launched those attacks because enviness. But in the revise part it is good people know your sources of income because if not they use names to tag you and say blood money or he has join cult or did ritual to get money. And with that people will afraid to come close to you.

It is counterproductive to talk about the amount of money we get and where it comes from. We must be very careful with the people around us because we do not know if they are coming or are planning something to harm us knowing that we are financially well off. For this and many other reasons, I don't see the point in disclosing or showing off what we have, the more anonymous one remains, the safer.

But I have this question, if we keep it quiet and keep it completely secret, don't reveal it to anyone, including our loved ones. So how do we make bitcoin popular and people know about bitcoin? Is this too contradictory when people say actively spreading bitcoin to people and getting them out of the bank? I think sharing is up to each of us, bitcoins are money, too, so protect them the same way we protect our assets.

In my opinion telling someone others and your love ones about the bitcoin is an idea full of benefits because in this way they will be easily get profit and if you help them in their harsh condition they will surely help you whenever you need it. Spreading should not be stopped but spreading secure data should be stopped because the society is unable to predict and their habits are hidden so try to spread that information which is beneficial for him but should not be harm for you.

You're right on this but I think this isn't a big deal anyone as everyone is already expected to hold their possessions at heart and not sharing it with strangers not even family.
Alot has happened in the world and cryptocurrency industry at large and people ought to learn how to safeguard  and secure their hodlings no matter how little it might be.
The bitcoin industry  is already a very risky one from the volatile  nature of it to the criminal  and scam attacks on it and for no reason should one expose their holdings expect on exceptional cases.

I think many have heard the phrase: money loves silence. Everything related to finances is better not to discuss with anyone except with people with whom you have a common business, with other people I always ignore these conversations. Why once again discuss this with people whom I do not know well.
By avoiding unnecessary conversations, you and your finances will always be safe - this rule works flawlessly.

Yep, that works just fine as long as you will keep your circle small with people who does have the same goal and version so that some unintended words will not leave your area because why would they pit you into some dangerous if they are also busy achieving their goals in life, right? It makes more sense to keep it that way rather than taking about your lifestyle to some strangers or even people that you know but is not that close with you, you know keep them guessing but don't share some information about you that could put you at risks.

You are right. I wouldn't even discuss any of my serious financial lifestyle with another person unless it was my family, and even if it were my family, they would only know about everything at the right time. It's not good to spill everything at once; one is supposed to still keep some secrets to themselves and only say them when it's really necessary. Even the people you say you are in business with should not know everything. Some people are very envious at times, and you cannot tell who is not really happy with your success; they may pretend as if they like you.
