Yes, I feel that too and most people definitely feel it too. I know this problem is closely related to inflation, but I also think that this problem occurs because the human population continues to increase, resulting in increasingly tight competition for money. my strategy is to look for additional income such as joining airdrops and bounties.
Don't just focus on airdrops and bounties, mate, even though this can also bring in additional income which can help some people with these results when facing inflation. But try to think about opening a business that can also generate income actively so that we are not so affected by the current inflationary conditions. Because everyone needs to see more promising business opportunities for their future, even though airdrops and bounties can also be continued as usual because these two things will never interfere with the business that we will open later.

Certainly, this rise in prices is a worldwide phenomenon; however, some countries have it way worse than others, and Greece is certainly one of them.

Of course, inflation in each country will be different and price fluctuations will also depend on each item. In my country, there are many farms that raise cattle and poultry and specialize in exporting to neighboring countries. For example, the price of chicken in the area where I live is only about 3 USD per kg, or vegetables and fruits are very cheap because we can even grow them ourselves for better quality. It can be said that my country is an agricultural country and I live in the countryside, so I can hardly see the effects of inflation on food products.

But we are having to spend more money on electronic devices, technology or gas and electricity prices have increased a lot for many reasons from the Government. I've even seen them go higher and higher each year and have never dropped back to the same price.

Inflation is general. It’s in every country on earth. Unless the country doesn’t use fiat (which isn’t possible because what then are you using as legal tender). In the next couple of years, the cost of petrol would likely be more than that. And even if it isn’t, other items like food items, or clothes would cost more. How you’d know this is when you look back to how it used to be, you can see the trend of inflation.
Before, things used to increase on either annual basis, two years or more. But now, things are increasing like hourly not even monthly. something that you just purchased few hours ago, going back again like in the evening, you will see that they will tell you another price that's more than before. The problems that most countries are facing today, are caused by the government. Removal of fuel subsidy, unification of foreign exchange and leveling of taxes on companies and industries have made things difficult for people. In my society today, people are suffering. their income are not up to their expenditures. Still things are going up.

Hi Guys,

I'm curious to know if there is a cost of living crisis in your country and if you are feeling the effects of rising goods and services.

I'm Australian, and the inflation rate in 2023 was over 4%.

I have noticed significant increases for everyday essentials like food, petrol and utilities.

The cost of petrol is around $2.10AUD per litre, which is insane.

Let's hope things improve in the near future because the current state of things is unsustainable.
The cost of living is continuously being raised nowadays as the world situations and political disorders have make it more volatile. It is almost impossible for a middle class man to survive in these kind of situations where things are getting costly and the value of their currency are decreasing day by day.

The governments have to make sure that the living cost and taxes should be balanced and people should be given relief.

Everything was fine but suddenly the price of fuel oil has gone up and we are seeing its impact in every sector. All of a sudden the price of fuel oil has increased so much that the industrial factories have increased the prices of their products as a result of which the products which were bought with relatively less money are now being bought with relatively more money. The price of fuel has gone up all over the world so I think every country in the world now costs a lot more. People always complain that even though the prices of daily necessities have doubled, the income of people has not increased. That is, an employee still gets the same amount of salary that he used to get, but he only has to buy different products with more money.

Really not laughable as many nation is deeply in sorrow over inflation, I see it as negative restructural design by nature to punished man kind and slow down their activities, not just a system regulator it courses more harm than regulating. For instance in most if the third world countries many barely feed two square meal even one is difficult for them as a result of high inflation, many sold properties, and others valuable to survive, inflation is like war that dangerous weapon is been use to eliminate the human existence why acting as a wave towards the people.

My country inflation is at the extreme and is crashing the nation the revival if what the inflation has done can't be soon, the adoption of Bitcoin and crypto currency in general has in one way positioned and limit some zero level crashed of the nation economy even if it can be fully revive but has reduced some panic by the citizens who are engaged on the Bitcoin or crypto currency eco system, as the government is left with no choice than to dance to the tone of the inflation.

The recorded annual inflation in Greece was 3.2%, and that's without taking into account how much more expensive fuel, electricity, and water are. Trips to the supermarket have become way more expensive, with several goods, such as olive oil or meat, almost doubling in price. I used to buy chicken fillet for less than €6.50 per kilo, and now it costs €10 in the same supermarket, and the condition is only worsening.

Certainly, this rise in prices is a worldwide phenomenon; however, some countries have it way worse than others, and Greece is certainly one of them.

However, with the implementation of inflation, people will have difficulty buying goods which are primarily their family's basic needs. I think inflation in a financially unstable society will only make things worse for society the difficulty of finding food is currently being exacerbated by inflation which is making the situation even worse goods rise, this really punishes the lower class by using the word inflation.

In my opinion, the state must be sensitive to the situation of its people, because many regulations are made without knowing the situation and make people have to follow them and submit to the laws in their own country, this is really unfortunate for lower and middle class people. because they will feel the impact of inflation.
When inflation occurs, this will make it very difficult for people to fulfill their needs because all their needs have increased and for those who have saved money, of course this will be very detrimental to them because their savings have not decreased but the value of them has decreased. the savings they had when they first saved and many more difficulties that occur during inflation.
If a country makes regulations without thinking about the fate of their people, this will really create great chaos because the people will have great difficulty in implementing them.

In our country it is very difficult for a worker to afford all his living expenses just with his salary. We find that most of people here are in debts and loans because of the small salary which is very funny. Imagine getting paid 200$ working 26 days a month, while only one good meal here costs more than 20$.
Products and food here are cheaper than most countries, petrol is so cheap, around $0.3 per liter. However, the salaries are very low to afford a good or even a normal living. Personally, I make more money than any paid job here in our country, working as a moderator on discord pays better than a doctor salary here. Thanks to crypto and Bitcoin that made this change, I think without it many people wouldn’t have a better life.

The cost of living in my country is super costly  Grin but 1 litres of petrol is not yet up to $1, it is still selling for $0.8. Every country is really feeling the impact of the inflation because it is very worst than years ago.
In our country it's over a dollar, as far as I know the price is already at $1.10.Compared to it's price in the previous year, the effect is too much that even some of those people who have their own vehicle prefers to take public transportation because it can lessen their expenses.

Inflation is a bastard and that is the more reason why Bitcoin is gonna put an end to inflation and financial slavery as almost every country one way or the other is experiencing inflation as the world is going towards economic crisis and recession however, in my country last year December 2023, the inflation rate was 28.92% as against the inflation rate in December 2022 which was 21.34% that is to show that it increased by 7.58% in December 2023 while in April 2024, the inflation rate rose to 33.69% which means that the inflation rate from December 2023 to April 2024 rose by 4.77% high. This is to show that instead of the inflation rate to reduce it's still increasing thereby making the cost of goods and services high and making livelihood difficult for the common man and woman and this inflation is suffered by many even when high percentage of people in the country doesn't have a job or are on low income salary range.

In recent years, inflation have been on the increase and a major setback to the development of the country and it tends to make life even more difficult as an average family can hardly afford three square meal in a day which also means that the inflation rate of the country has made many suffer abject poverty and unable to afford daily needs. When we talk about building materials or the cost of accommodations in the country, the cost of petroleum products, the cost of transportation and all that almost everything is on the increase.

Yes, inflation is terrible and it is slowly killing us, but I wonder how will bitcoin end inflation? Inflation is not only the result of the Government printing money in an uncontrolled way, but inflation is also the result of an imbalance in supply and demand, the gap between supply and demand is too large. And there are thousands of causes of supply and demand imbalance, the Covid pandemic is also one of the causes.

Bitcoin has potential and has many benefits but to say it will solve inflation or poverty by adopting bitcoin, which is an exaggeration. We need more than one solution and it is not as easy as we think, just the government stops printing money and inflation will disappear.

Here in Serbia, it's around $1.9, depending on whether you wish a 95 or 98. One is under and the other is around $2. Generally, everything is more expensive than before, some prices almost doubled from 2-3 years ago.
I thought that it's cheaper there.

But that's true, everything has almost doubled post-pandemic.

I guess the biggest problem is food, we spend a lot on food, it's an everyday need, especially for big families with many kids.
Can't cut cost with food especially for the breadwinner. We don't cut foods to the ones that's working for the family, that's why salute to the dads that have been working their a** off all day long just to provide and deal with this declining moments.

I live in a third world country and the price of petrol products and other commodities are 3x that of last year, and I don't think that price will come down anytime soon. Cost of living is fucking expensive now.

Inflation is very high down here which has affected every sector of the market. Getting the money is also another problem because minimum wage has not being increased and people who are earning salaries are really suffering because their monthly salary can no longer take care of their needs. I have a neighbor that quit is job, because of high transportation fee. After he did his calculations and saw that transportation will consume 90% of his salary.

Whoa! You mean it's around $6  per liter in your country? While here in our country, at the cost of 1.3 dollars per liter, I already manage too much; it turns out it's cheaper here than us.
It's hard to live there in your country; if it's just fuel that's expensive, it's probably more so than prime commodities. Is that right?

Then there's the employee who resigned because 90% of his salary will only go to his transportation to work. I'll do the same, because it's a fool to do that;
it's like you're killing yourself little by little.

In the next years, the cost of everything will be higher than now... this trend will not end anytime soon. As you said, we just need to look back. I guess our paychecks are also rising, but not with the same speed, sadly inflation is winning that race all the time.

Currently, many people complain that inflation is occurring which is causing purchasing power to decrease, because the increase in inflation is not commensurate with the increase in salaries. the economy becomes increasingly sluggish. However, those who can see opportunities will certainly look for additional income to meet their daily needs, so it is not surprising that currently many people have side jobs.
