Honestly, this altcoin crash has people feeling all sorts of emotions. A lot of folks are really anxious and frustrated seeing their investments tank. Only Long-term holders are a bit more optimistic, thinking this could be a good buying opportunity ,Pretty sure the newer investors are pretty regretful by now. I too wish i had sold at least 50% of my altcoins before now cause the market isn't ready to stop tanking down anytime soon .
My altcoin portfolio was +83% on the 9th June but is now +51% just 9 days later.
I am buying some dips but mainly just holding during these times and hoping we recover in the coming weeks.

I hope that you bought some good altcoins, if not then the only thing I can say is that you will face very difficult circumstances, as when a new altcoin has to go through adverse market conditions, it is unlikely that it will be able to survive, and this is because it is during that period in which it is the most vulnerable, and at the same time, if an altcoin fails to gain the support of the community during that time, then after a few months many competitors will appear, which will steal the spotlight and will not allow it to grow anymore. People do not really care about the crash in a "feeling" manner but more about curiosity instead. Because we are aware that there will always be super high peaks and super low crashes, we could go down 90% and we could go up 20x, those are all possible outcomes. This is why I think it is clear that we are going to face some trouble, and we should realize how easy or difficult it could be.
Emotions do not have any place in this, sure some people do go with their emotions and feelings, but those people end up losing a lot of money. We should instead consider how it would make a lot more sense if we could end up with zero emotions, and just realize when it's down, then it means it will go up eventually and we should hold tight until it does.

The market seems doubtful to recover in the next weeks for me. Though I do not rule out the possibility of a recovery, simply look at the bitcoin chart to see that the market takes months to recover.
To be honest, nobody knows when the crash will stop; hence, if I knew when the market would stop, I would jump in or even sell my car to get cryptocurrencies.
Although market collapses are not unusual in the bitcoin sector, I really think that everyone who did not sell at high regrets their decisions.
No one knows when the peak is , when i was +83% it could have gone even higher. I don't try and time the market as that is how things get complicated and you get wrecked.
The market continues to fall and I am currently +48% overall now. It could be a lot worse, I hear many who are currently down on their portfolio.
Hopefully we have a few more weeks or a month or so of this down and sideways action before we can start going up again - when we pump my portfolio grows very quickly.

If you are talking about future trading then I would not recommend it and hence you also mention that nobody knows when it will crash. Doing DCA is suggested for people who don't know how to read and analyze the chart.
Also, you will also know through volume if there is just fake pump or dump and when to ride it.

Almost every crypto investor is feeling the heat my friend, and I must say that it is not looking good for some altcoins in my arsenal now, they are losing, while those that were bought at a very low level have dropped some sizable profits that are not comfortable truly. Had it been it was another asset class, I would have managed them better because I always know when the market is making a retracement or reversal. But the fact that we are still in the long-term bull run was why I left them with a high level of doubts though. And yes, buying the dip could be a very good idea and will help you to make more money in the end. But we should pray that everything works fine, otherwise, it will be an issue. Also, the chart is the best to tell us when this selling will stop, and when the time comes, we will all know just like now (bullish time). As for the altcoin season, I hope such a thing still exists in the crypto world, things are changing, and I hope it doesn't include that.

Well yes my crypto portfolio did lose alot of funds now with this altcoin crash. But we can also say it is not just a alt coin crash but Bitcoin crash also.
But I do think it is more like a correction then a crash like you called it. We did not lose so much in this correction. I did not lose so much like you 83% to 51%.
But all crypto investors we just need to still hodl. I do think there is going to be big profits this year and then in year 2025. We will all gain big profits so do not sell your coins now.

I don't think it's that bad yet? Sure, I'm down in the red but it's only by a few %. Probably 10% at most at this point and imo, that's pretty small. Especially if you consider how most of the alts I had was at least 6 months before, so I'm pretty sure I'm still in profit in general.

From what I've seen in your posts, I can see that you are holding a variety of good altcoins. My portfolio, which was up above 100%, has recently gone below 10%. As for when the crash will stop, I think no one can predict this, but I'm sure that when the bull market commences, there won't be any crash. Even dead coins will wake up and try to regain their former levels by then.
This is just regular correction but what make me regret is i start my trading bot at high price even knowing from chart that it can go down. Hopefully no longer than half a month market will recover to the point that my bot is in profit

To be fair as long as we are in profit, we shouldn't really worry about it all that much, we should consider this as very normal and not really make a big deal out of it. We are seeing the drop right now, that means that next up will be the increase and we should probably consider that as the best timing to invest. If you invest right now, then you are going to make a good return, a lot of people miss that chance and I would say that it is not going to end up being something too crazy, we should just learn to be able to wait for it.

This isn't really a "crash", this is a correction. Crash was what happened in 2022, if you go and take a look back on what happened at 2022, or even 2018, then you will see what a crash looks like, this is more like it is something you could definitely consider as normal and corrections happens all the time.
We shouldn't judge the market on brief moment of drops, because those drops could recover in a week, and anything that can be recovered in a week is not a big deal to me. Just keep on buying and holding trustworthy good projects and when it recovers you are going to make a good return from it for sure, it is not going to be such a big major deal, we should not be really worried about it at all, it could be something nice.

When there is price dip in Bitcoin and altcoins, holders needs to wait for price correction before they will start to see price surge. That is why everybody that wants to buy any cryptocurrency needs to carry out research about the project before buying, to be sure that it is not a scam, so that they can wait for the price to pump before selling. This is a good time to buy altcoins now that their prices are in dip before the alt season will start.
