market dips will come in cycles. the gaps between these cycles and the length for each one varies heavily dependent on a lot of stuff so it is difficult to predict accurately when will it end.
i am guessing that it will end once bitcoin performs better the whole market is not at its highest right now and is not performing as many expected and that is why many are feeling more fud

once bitcoin rises up i have no doubt all the other altcoins will also follow suit

if its about bitcoin, probably its a bear trap, but market sentiment are so bad it actually worrisome at some point and it could affect altcoin heavily sometime 5% bitcoin dumps means 20% altcoin dumps, market sentiment heavily affected by bitcoin price movement   the thing is people just so afraid of sudden dump, but overall if we judge condition realistically we will eventually know that we're still really high in term of price and it seems people's fear were unfounded at all.



but if we are talking about altcoin crash on the other hand which goes as low as more than 50% that widely affect majority of the L2s, LST and LRT well its indeed worrisome, maybe people are done overvaluing these coins, their use isn't exactly justifies the overly inflated valuation that they mostly have, 8 billions FDV for a coin thats literally just sidechain of ethereum with some additional feature just doesn't sit right, but regardless the big investors are still pouring in some money to these projects by the billions, what you should remember though at some point these investors gonna dump their bag sooner or later, probably they will dump immediately after vesting unlock.

so for now I personally avoid altcoin and just reposition my investment to bitcoin or ethereum, just risk management thing.

But to me, this should not be a means of discouragement for you now because you know how the crypto market works before you invest. You know that the market can dump at any time, so it is at your own risk before you invest, which we all know as long as you are an investor, so this should not be a problem for you as an investor. However, since you know that you want to save money, you would rather not invest it; rather, you keep it in USDT or your fiat currency and not put it in meme coins. However, the crypto market is so volatile that you should not expect much or profit anytime soon if you invest. The market is unpredictable. 

Those investors who had invested in non-potential altcoins or used borrowed or emergency money to invest in altcoins are the ones to be very concerned about the steady decline of altcoin prices.

As for people like me, who had invested in bitcoin and other top altcoins had nothing to worry about our portfolio heading to a loss price for the time being. One thing that is certain that gives one courage is that the market will surely bounce back. When it does, our hearts will be filled with joy overflow. However, no cause for alarm thereof.

Altcoins follow Bitcoin fluctuations. So you can expect altcoins to start increasing in price once Bitcoin does. The problem is that Bitcoin is stucked between 65,000$ and 71,000$. Always it gains value, the market immediately crashes it to the 60,000$'s again.

However, I believe it's just temporary. Bitcoin just needs to break the resistance line at 72,000$ to reach new ATHs, and as consequence, your altcoins will too. So that is what you should be looking and waiting for!

Usually the last months of the year are more productive for crypto market during bullish seasons. From September or October on things may start looking more interesting for us...

No one knows when the crash will stop, it's much better if you've sold it when you're up by almost 100%. But then, with missed opportunities, you're not able to sell them and that's why you have to bear the losses.

Even with losses, you're in paper loss from the actual profit that you should have. But then, these losses that you're having right now is just a minus from your actual profit.

And considering a loss, it's not a total loss from your actual holding because you're still in profit.

Stick with your strategy and if it’s already below your cut loss price, then better to sell it now or if its not on this level then you can still hold and have a hope that it didn’t hit your cut loss price. You have to be more cautious in investing with altcoins as they are also dependent with Bitcoin and right now, the market is not doing good but still the bullish trend can still happen this year, so let’s see if we will survive this drop so we can continue the up trend.

Indeed, the crash and bloody decline that occurred in the altcoin market may cause people to panic sell. They may lose the opportunity to recover their losses and make profits once Bitcoin's dominance reverses and the Ethereum ETFs are listed. The delay in their listing caused market uncertainty. After Ethereum ETFs achieve significant inflows, the market rebounds and investor sentiment improves, which may lead to a market boom.

Although analysts mentioned some economic and other factors that caused this sharp dump, I agree that the decrease in interest in Bitcoin ETFs and its negative inflows have weakened altcoins, as Henrik Andersson mentioned. For me, this dump is an opportunity to buy more promising altcoins, as I am HODLing until the market rebounds, regardless of when it rises.

This isn't really a "crash", this is a correction. Crash was what happened in 2022, if you go and take a look back on what happened at 2022, or even 2018, then you will see what a crash looks like, this is more like it is something you could definitely consider as normal and corrections happens all the time.

We shouldn't judge the market on brief moment of drops, because those drops could recover in a week, and anything that can be recovered in a week is not a big deal to me. Just keep on buying and holding trustworthy good projects and when it recovers you are going to make a good return from it for sure, it is not going to be such a big major deal, we should not be really worried about it at all, it could be something nice.

Do not panic sell - if you cannot buy any more just hold and wait a few more months. I think once September comes the real bull run will begin for many months.

I have 2 altcoins which have given me great profits over the last 3 or 4 months, without them I would not be as well off as I am now.

I just hope we don't go much lower as I thought I was done buying and to be honest I'm tired of it I just want alt season to come so i can finally cash out some profits.

Your portfolio is still +51% after the altcoin crash but my portfolio is -22%. Now think how I feel. At least you can take some comfort in thinking of me.
Those who are traders feel bad when altcoin crashes. But many take it as an opportunity and fill their altcoin bag. But I'm looking forward to the next altcoin season. Hope my portfolio will be positive.

We're all losing and feeling like I wanna panic and sell everything that's what I feel. It's not just altcoins dipping down if you haven't noticed. BTC above all is most likely the one that gets dumped the most and affects all altcoins.

We all wish to stop early but if this dump takes more dumping I may just stop when the price hits $44k. Then I guess the bull run will be in 2025 or not because it's already over?

I'm just fed up with crypto investment. I'd have been better if I have kept some of it in USDT but I kept all of them in meme coins and now I have my portfolio decreased by half respective to USD. There was a general perspective that sooner or later crypto would keep on increasing and giving us profit. But the golden age of crypto seems to be ended. Though bitcoin and some coins recently achieved their new time high but it was not much different from the last time and the price momentum has failed to sustain. With too much uncertainity in economy and politics, I don't see the price going up anytime soon. I'd rather wait and look for another dip before buying them again.

It's very good figures! Most of the users now have -50% and more, so you're lucky one!

I also have a huge dip, still positive ROI, but few months ago it was much more in $!

My altcoin portfolio was +83% on the 9th June but is now +51% just 9 days later.

I am buying some dips but mainly just holding during these times and hoping we recover in the coming weeks.

When will this crash stop? and how is everyone feeling?

I have it in my mind we still have a few more months till alt season so I am just holding on for now.
