Teach the kid how to daytrade pay for the bitcoin out of your pockets teach them how to invest.
give him a weekly allowance just for it

I think it's hard for kids to understand to kind of thing, we can't just teach them about that thing.

I think that when the kids are sharing anything with friends then i think a shortlink will give them few cents or more using coinurl shortener link which pays in bitcoin, don't know if they still pay but it worth trying and researching about them.

faucet sites, store up satoshi and play it on satoshi dice site Tongue

I wouldn't recommend introducing gambling to kids. Gambling is something only an adult can deal with properly and even some adults as we can read on this forum can't manage it.

Better start with small earnings with faucets, but don't let them gamble.

Gambling is very bad for children, even for us, how could kids handle their emotion when they were on gambling,  i think it's too fast to teach them to learn about how to earn bitcoin,
but you can suggest them to play games, there are some games that paying in bitcoin

thanx for replies but please understand - i know how to teach kids about BTC.

they understand it.

they PLAY games, i know there is games that pay fractions of BTC - im looking for those Wink
ie for MINECRAFT servers that pay you or so Smiley

OP, I'll get you started.

Another line to try: "make bitcoins playing games" Shocked
Of course, these games will teach your kids the best lessons:
-That BTC transactions cost money, and you gotta grind&grind just to make enough satoshis to cash out.
-That most BTC projects are bullshit/hype/clickbait/scams/don't work; there's only one way to "earn" BTC: buy it with fiat.

Hope this helps, Dad.

I think earning bitcoin for kids is a little too soon. we are still stuck at earning bitcoin, and there is a lot of scams out there that makes it difficult for a kid to thing about getting into earning bitcoin seriously.

if you can find games that are suitable for kids and pay decent amount then it might be a fun way for them to earn but unfortunately such games are either have bad payment or dead projects.

Wouldn't it be just a little bit against the law for children to earn bitcoin? Bitcoin is money, and children cannot earn money/work for money as it would break established child labor laws and so on.
If it is against your law to give your neighborhood kids a few bucks to wash your car or mow your lawn, than indeed earning bitcoin is not allowed.

My kid wants to make some money.

I never cared much of those easy systems but seems it would work for him.

I gave him 2 faucets but i ALSO remember there was servers/games where one could make Bitcoin [or altcoin] just for playing.

Would you remind ?
I do not think that Bitcoin is for kids. As a parent you can teach you kids about Bitcoin to prepare them for when they are adults. But I do not think that kids should be on Bitcoin.

Kids should not click on Bitcoins faucets for pennies. This is a travesty of the highest order. Your kids should be playing outside with their peers and having fun exploring new things while their childhood isn't over and leave the Bitcoin faucet farming to the desperate teenagers around here. There is time for everything but don't push it on the kids so early  Roll Eyes

Kids can't invest with big budgets usually, so i suggest telling them about the faucets it's the simplest method for them
Lol small children will not understand why you told him typing keyboard that is not suitable for small children
you should have told him to play games such as coin hopper

My kid wants to make some money.
...

Tell your kid to do what everyone in this thread does to money:

1. Make 20 accounts on Bitcointalk.
2. from the 20 accounts, ask questions like "How I maek monyz with Bit coin ? " and "I haz 1 bitcoen, how soon i milionair?"
3. from the 20 accounts, ask answer questions like "How I maek monyz with Bit coin ? " and "I haz 1 bitcoen, how soon i milionair?"
4a. Enroll in signature campaign.
4b. Sell accounts.
5. PROFIT.

If your kid is between the ages of 2 and 9, (s)he'll blend right in.

It's funny how no one really thinks that no people are doing that, and there is really just that much activity on this forum... it's good though that campaigns are starting to become a lot more strict on people enrolling in campaigns and track their activity from a while back to make sure it isn't a pretty shit account.

At least if people are doing that, then it's a lot harder to get away with it than just by posting "+1" and "to da moon!".  Regardless, signatures still aren't worth wasting every single minute of your day on... it's a shame that probably a lot of people on here do end up doing that and become recluses to their families and loved ones.  I see threads pop up every now and then having people explain "how bad" gambling is and all that, because you "waste a whole day" on a site and "lose money... when in all reality they are wasting a full day on here trying to get their activity up and post as much as possible for fractions of bitcoins, and also end up losing out on money they would have made if they just got a regular job and then put that money into bitcoins instead.

I know it sounds like I'm a hypocrite that I'm in a campaign too, but I know where to draw the line in not becoming too obsessed over post count and getting as much bitcoins as possible to "becomez'a millionerrz"... instead I just focus on my career and frequent the board to get my daily news for cryptocurrencies (which getting back to the point of the thread) is what I think these kids should do.  Tell them to go get a STEM degree, whatever that may be, and then do what they love... don't force them into bitcoins by any means, that's just flat out annoying.

I can't even blame people for doing exactly what I described -- poverty is a bitch, and in some places account farming/sig ad spamming probably adds up to a decent part-time income. Doesn't mean the forum hasn't turned to shit -- it has. Hmm, start selling crack on your own stoop, suddenly the neighborhood ain't as tony as it once was.
Not even useful to the better scammers, tho we got a new addition to the /gambling/ section, /investment-based games/ Roll Eyes

And here we are, unironically suggesting a kid should hang out on faucet sites. Why not put the kid out to beg? At least she'll be outside, interacting with IRL people, in [presumably] fresher air. Did anyone suggest camwhoring yet?

If you ever wondered why people are more receptive to leprosy than bitcoiners, now you know.
