It depends on how old your kids are if they are still under aged it is better for them to focus on something else like sports and school. You can teach your kids about Bitcoin for when they become adults.

Its quite an old article and I stumbled upon it from a facebook group bitcoin page, the concept is an electronic piggybank which its balance itself is (IIRC) digital, means, the balance was sent directly into an account instead of being a fiat like conventional piggybank. You can use it to introduce bitcoin to your children as well as teaching them about "working to earn". You can ask them to do some tasks like cleaning their room or do their homework at scheduled time and give them bitcoin in return. I think it give a better idea of how to earn instead of doing faucets which mostly gave a poor amount of satoshi.

If kids are desperate to earn bitcoin at this age then they can earn it through faucet sites as that is the only way for them to earn it.

The best way for kids is to play games offered by bitplay.today
There are a variety of games that can be downloaded on android and are fun as compared to faucets.
The user gets awarded at most 100 satoshi per round.

I think that kids, up to certain age, shouldn't be allowed to make money. And also not to spend too much time on the Internet

I think they should have to stay on games only to earn some bitcoin or other currency, games will make them healthy in respect to their intelligence and brain. Do not teach them about faucets, with faucets they will lose their health, as for kids faucets are health sucking.

Instead you teach him do faucet teach him to play xapo games it is high paying than faucet sites and also give him an account here in bitcointalk so he/she can earn more by joining sig campaign. Remember faucet is waste of time and effort since he is newbie better teach him the proper way to earn. I think if you teach him do faucet he will get bored because it has give her/him low earnings.

nothing wrong with that if you teach kids about faucets. If they are interested they will continue, else they leave it off. Kids will be always interested in games. So let them to play games, by that they earn little btc.

there is all kinds of things wrong with this.

it means you are teaching your kids to work a very crappy job (mindless typing in captcha code in faucets) and get paid a lot less than minimum wage jobs.

i prefer my children selling lemonade on the street instead of working on a faucet.

My kid wants to make some money.

I never cared much of those easy systems but seems it would work for him.

I gave him 2 faucets but i ALSO remember there was servers/games where one could make Bitcoin [or altcoin] just for playing.

Would you remind ?
There are a number of games sites available on google where your kid can earn some amount of satoshi by playing games, faucets will just dull his mind, he need creative and strategy type of games to play which may help him grow with other capability and to become intelligent as well.

how old your kids?i think this is good, introducing bitcoin to childern was not bad,its good for them to know how internet can easy give the money,so they not addicted to game, they only think how to make money Grin

What you said is correct, this is the age for them to study and play the physical games which will give them physical and mental health gain, not but the online internet which will make them lazy , still they have so many years to get into it. get them to some extra activity program or join them to some games classes or you can join them in which they are very interested in life. This is the age to enjoy the  life and game the knowledge not to make them internet savvy.
If the kids really interested about bitcoin and want to earn it as their will, then there is no problem. I guess most of kids wont interested about cryptocurrency or some complex thing on internet. All thing they need is just playing a game.

There is a Chinese saying that "a book holds a golden house". They have not reached the age of earning money yet.

I personally don't give my kids too much time on-line, and most of their time on books or play or outdoor activities..

There's got to be better marks out there, people with gambling problems, bad credit, no credit, the timeshare demo? Let's leave the children for last, if at all.

Playing games that pays in bitcoin would be the best choice for your kids. There are some android games by bitplay.today that may give your kids some satoshis. But I think the main purpose should be to having fun from the games rather than to collect free money. Let your kids enjoy their childhood as they should be..

I agree with alani123, How old are your kids ? If they under 15 years old, better focus on their school. Because i think it's too early to think that. And you can guide them like investing or trading.

10 yeard old. And yes i know they have to study.. but since they have free time and can "play" games [i said which] or watch LOADS of youtube on the side - they could also make some "internet money" and possibly understand how it works

Maybe you can check out sites that offer "jobs" like watching youtube movies. If they are watching movies anyway, why not get paid a little for it?

I think it is a great way to get them interested in technology and also learn about the value of currency. It may help your kids in the future with money management, so I can only applaud it. Better than sitting behind an ipad for the better part of the day like most kids are doing nowadays.

Faucets are a big waste of time imo, they will be working to get their transaction fee together.

Captcha typing might be a good one to let them do. They can practice typing at the same time as earning a bit. I think rates are about 3-5 usd per 10,000 at the moment.
