Been in Bitcoin since early 2012, someone owed me 500$ and payed me this with roughly 100 bitcoins at the time. Funny story is at first I was really annoyed, because he wasn't just giving me real money but he made me understand that I could sell it instantly at a loss on an exchange site or to a BTC trader, and I had to download a wallet and like I said it was fucking annoying at the time I just wanted my lousy 500$. Anyways I downloaded the wallet and the guy kept going on about how nice he was cause the price was fluxuating but he was still giving me the same amount we agreed upon. (and I thought, what a jerk, quivering like this over pennies) When I got the BTC I realized they were already worth 750$. The rest is history, I sold all my coins at the first peak at 285$ per coin and cashed out 28,500$ from 500$.

I know everyone loves to say if you held on you could have had 120 000, but you'd be forgetting the whole year after 28 500$ , it was only worth $6000 cause BTC was at roughly 60$ per coin before it went sky high, and I don't think I believed enough to hang on through that at that time. I just would have thought its better get my 6gs out before I have nothing left. I consider myself very lucky and very fortunate to have made out with what I did. Sometimes I think of myself as a Deal Or No Deal  contestant who took the first deal that was offered but I have no regrets , It completely changed my life for the better and bitcoined my entire world and I have never looked back.

it is also worth mentioned while it was climbing i have a friend who bought 500 of them and has never sold a single one or even considered it, and I have no idea how he passes up on that temptation. He is a regular guy who is not a millionaire who has just plainly decided he is hanging on until the end.

I'm in the Bitcoin world since 2012 and never have regreted it. I always had a feeling that I'm part of something new, exciting and revolutionary. It has good and bad sides like everything else but in general Bitcoin is something that has changed my life for better and showed me new opportunities.
im in bitcoin also from something like 2012 though my main aim is to make a lot of money out of it, i think bitcoin is the best investment option and it will help me to become rich

I am in the Bitcoin world since a little bit more than 3 months ago. That is when I gained interest in Bitcoin, how it works and where can I spend it. I collected my first fraction of a Bitcoin about a 1 ago though. But I did not use it or understand it and I was using just a faucet and nothing more, that is why I do not count that as my time in Bitcoin. I also dumped my old wallet with funds I earned on.the faucet.

The majority of the negative things you mentioned are just hyped up nonsense spread by shills and fiat based media. Yes, we cannot deny that a whole bunch of criminal elements are active in the

Bitcoin community, but the same goes for fiat {cash} too... I would dare to say, that criminals prefer cash over Bitcoin or any other payment method, because it's totally anonymous. I have been

active in the Bitcoin community for nearly 5 years now.  Wink

I started mining bitcoin in 2013, only use the graphics cards. Then I mine altcoins and buy bitcoins.

2013, by then a few alts took my attention, and was with them till 2014. After the ups and downs, I was back to BTCBTCBTC.

Been involved about a year and a half.   My main regret is that I didn't buy more when we were below $300 for a bit and also that I didn't just hold onto every bitcoin I ever bought.  I did some selling that was just stupid.

One thing I'm happy about is that I didn't buy in 2013 when I was watching the price shoot to $1200.
