simply collect 100 BTC, hopefully enough until your retirement

being hopeful is never a good plan lol.

Its better to have realistic scenarios to reduce the risk in your own way, then just falling up on bitcoin. I rather would just plan most things out to make things happen imo to predict best and worst case scenarios.

In 20 years, Bitcoin will have crashed down to $0 at least once.

the lowest it will prbably go to a crash is low hundreds, and if everyone jumped ship then yeah only then its zero.

but i doubt this scenario since most of the hard problems with bitcoin is being solved esp with the 1mb situation and hard forks.

My personal plans are to buy 5 btc in this month, investment idea of a retirement plan which I would require after the next 30/40 years, probably end up as something really big or just nothing.

On the down low, I will mine maybe.

I think 50 BTC is a good number to be holding onto, But no one knows BTC's future price,  you can make your own assumptions and make your purchase.

You can make some speculation if you want to invest, there are many threads that give a good speculation not just based on us only. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0

In 20 years, Bitcoin will have crashed down to $0 at least once.

What are you based on? How can you so sure that bitcoin will crash in exactly 20 years? Bitcoin will never hit $0 since their technology is the most innovative for now

Yep bitcoin is our common fundamental internet money, which is the free-est out there.

Everything else is layered above bitcoin. That is why all altcoins are denominated in bitcoin, nobody trades DOGE/GBP or DOGE/JPY or other fiat crap.

Bitcoin is the DE FACTO reserve currency of all crypto coins, just as the USD is the reserve currency of the fiat toiled papers.

Bitcoin is the common traceable money and Monero is the untraceable counterpart.

also there is no reason for bitcoin to die, bitcoin is a new technology there is anything like that for the moment, and there will be anything like that for many years, tech like this do not appear in 1 day or 1 year

be assured that bitcoin is here to stay, and to the contrary of the general belief, bitcoin is less risky then many think, you only need to know that after a furios pump there is always a crush remember just that and you will be fine

after saying this, you should aim at 10-100 btc, minimum 10, with a price to 10k, returning to 1k will not be a problem, and when we will surpass that point, then the  way until 10k will be much easier than many think

Yeah ... like gold, it has crash since 2000 years ...  Roll Eyes ah ? no ?

And by the way :

Nah c`mon stop the fearmongering guys, bitcoin will be here until the internet is here.

And we know people cant live without it, even if it gets destroyed, we can rebuild it anytime, the data can be saved, it only needs about 100 blockchains backed up by 100 different people, and we can resume bitcoin anytime after the internet is back.

I`m talking about even if a solar flare wipes out tech items. Dont have to worry about bitcoin, big exchanges already use faraday cages.

Actually its true someone told this is completely depending on won personality how you are and what is your dreams for in future this absolutely your personal asbhow you want but I want to spend my retired days with luxury thats why i am investing my present time to earn good bitcoins and 2 bitcoins is not enough for me ! i think i need  more than 1k  bitcoin in my account then my all dreams become true and its should be too and I am waiting for be enjoying...

Obviously 2 bitcoins isnt enough for anyone. But, 1k bitcoin is actually more then the average joe, and it depends on the value at that point.

if the value was 1,000 thats minimum 200k.

The rates going at current value of today. 200k is what most will never save up in their life time.

I think if you start now, the wisest choice is to buy as much as you dare. Bitcoin has made many rich consider the guy who sold two pizzas for BTC10,000. The about $20 investment has turned to $2.5 millions

i think 50-100 bitcoin is enough. butif someone invests every asset they have in BTC and moans that the price down swings a little bit, it's simply the best sign that they shouldn't have invested everything.
Only invest what you can afford to lose.
Actually you can't say 50-100 btc exactly. Price are not stable yet. They might go down to few cents. So  you might end up regretting.

But if you can invest and the loss wont hurt you financially you can give it a shot. Who knows? bitcoin may jump up $1000 or more within next 2 decades. I would say invest in such a way that it won't hurt you financially in present or the future.

Depend on the price in 20 years time expecting like 5 figures is reasonable so how about 5 BTC retirement font or little more.

I wouldn't invest more than just 5% of my wealth right now. The rest 20% of my wealth will be invested in other investment plans which are less of a gamble and more secure like government bonds or fixed deposits retirement plans.
