Its will really be almost an impossible task to achieve for me in this part of the world things are that are different from the status quo are not allowed or seen as outcast and anyone in that line dare not tell someone else for fear of what is unknown even though not doing anything illegal so in that case I only know of myself and exchangers one have to deal with by the way, not physical because of factors already listed above.

In my closest community just a few people are familiar with.Bitcoin. I live in small, rather traditional community that accepts changes slowly. But I'm trying to promote the Bitcoin and use of it as well as all advantages. The process is slow but stil is moving. Good informations and knowledge are crucial.

For fun on their social network page to put a picture of a bitcoin, it happened that all of my friends, none knew what it was. And these are the people who live on the Internet.

Statistically a very small percentage of users bitcoin in respect of the principal amount of the population. So you can imagine how many of these people have you know. The chances are zero.
Yeah at this stage very few people are aware about bitcoin and the fact is even if they have heard about it they are not willing to use it or invest in it as they have a feeling that its a scam and they will loose their money in it.
And the reason behind it is that we don't have any trusted place to invest our bitcoins as most of them will scam you in long run and that creates negative impression in the minds of people related to bitcoins.

We have gathered both in the smoking room at work after lunch, and I'm friends all told that at least a little aware of the bitcoin. I was taken for mad.

This far more than what I knew in the my community. Even though i keep on sharing about bitcoin and the good stuff it gives to me, they are still not interested in it. As for my counting the number of person who is actively participating in bitcoin society is me lol. That is one out of 10,000 population in my community.
Thats also what I am doing, telling friends about bitcoin and telling them about its potential and whats excites them is the income potential with bitcoin. Among my friends, only few knows and using bitcoin. Educating them is a good way to let them know about cryptocurrency.
The fact is people will spare their time for bitcoin only if they find it an interesting concept, but if they get confused or find it complicated then they will never bother about bitcoins.

Yeah we should recommend bitcoin to people around us and even if few of them start using it then it will directly contribute to the adoption level which will take price even higher in future.

I got one friend who knows and uses bitcoin, I was the one who told him about it though a year or so ago, After that he became a hard core fan as much as me or even more. Other than that I can't think of anyone knowing about BTC in my friend base.
And I have no friends of those who would be versed in bitcoin. Even for advice to address not to whom. Trust the majority do not, because everyone wants to earn, and you cheat. October 02, 2016, 11:59:07 AM
I do not know exactly how many people know about Bitcoin where I live, however I expect I am part of the extreme minority here and there are likely not many people that know about Bitcoin beyond its name. There are some shops that exist here that accept Bitcoin, but they're small stickers and I doubt they get a ton of business from Bitcoin users.
You are lucky that you have at least few shops that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment, in my area there is not even a single shop and even people around me have never heard about bitcoins.

I do not know exactly how many people know about Bitcoin where I live, however I expect I am part of the extreme minority here and there are likely not many people that know about Bitcoin beyond its name. There are some shops that exist here that accept Bitcoin, but they're small stickers and I doubt they get a ton of business from Bitcoin users.

I already told them about bitcoin couple times but unfortunately, nowadays, most of my friends still happy with social medias things and have not interested in bitcoin yet. Maybe someday, when they got bored with such things, more and more people will be interesting in bitcoin.
Very few people in your community and I guess we have the same situation. I've been telling bitcoins to all of my friends but still they don't want what I am saying and even I am sharing how bitcoin works still they don't want it to adopt for their own good. But I guess if I will going to show them some strong proofs that is going to change their minds.

In Dallas County where I live, according to a bitcoin ATM map, there are 4 Bitcoin ATM's in the area and 1 Bitcoin ATM in neighboring Tarrant County (Fort Worth). On localbitcoin, I regularly see at least one full page each of buyers and sellers in the area.
Also, every few days, there are various different bitcoin meetups where locals get together to discuss bitcoin, encourage local business to accept them and also trade them. http://www.meetup.com/Dallas-Bitcoin-User-Meetup/
All this being said, less than 5% still sounds about right.

That is the major problem we are facing at a moment, we are trying our best to recommend it to people around us but the fact is they are simply not interested in knowing it.
