I don't request loans~
The problem is we keep increasing bet size to get more excitement, same level of excitement can't be equal on different bet sizes for many gamblers, we don't want to decrease bet size aka controlling bankroll since we play for fun. As it mentioned before, it is always best option to stop gambling when fun stops. I don't have gambling addiction problems so it is still my decision to keep depositing for getting more enjoyment, IMHO. Everyone has different limits and excitement levels.
I reckon that differs from the bankroll you initially have, plus the possible influence of maybe richer people and their positive results. I reckon it's also why gambling casinos have scoreboards so that people can induce other people to "believe" that more aggressive bets can result in more profits when in reality it's different from person to person. I myself have felt the thrill, but even then it's always adjusted to my level instead of adjusting to the level of others' bankroll.

I have vowed to stop gambling at several occasions but all where to no avail and most times I laugh at myself when I get caught up but one thing I'm also sure of is the fact that I'm not a chronic gambler or an addict and I only use money I'm willing to lose which is my spare money for gambling, but the trust is that gambling is handled differently but different set of persons in different ways and to some persons, gambling is just for fun and for some other persons, gambling is a very serious business and at such treated with so much zeal and passion and every loss and profit to them matter.

Be careful, when you say you will do something and then you fail to fulfill it you can be creating in yourself some long term issues, it is better that when you say to yourself that you are not going to gamble anymore you set a limit on this, lets say a month, that way when you can keep yourself away from gambling for that long you will realize that it is not as hard as you though and in this way you can easily exercise even more control over yourself of when and when not to gamble.

From my experience in playing gambling, I have tried several times to stop gambling, but it seems difficult for me, who is already addicted to gambling, to really stop.
I felt the unintended effect of losing most of what I had to gambling and I regret it a little.
Even though I have at least been able to get back what I have lost, there is still a feeling of regret in me because until now I still continue to play and bet.
But to be honest, I already have a little sense of self-control and control every game or bet I make so that I can minimize the number of losing a lot of money.
For now I only use 15% -20% of my income every month to gamble, so I have started not to lose much in gambling.
as long as you consistently set aside your funds for gambling every month, of course it will not make you lose in gambling because by being consistent like that you have managed to control yourself from more losses, play wisely  Wink
^ As always they said, be a responsible gambler and play wisely.
But I don't think if your purpose is to have fun when you are gambling, there should be no massive loss on this. Controlling yourself from the urge of gambling is the biggest factor that you will need, there is no need to stop gambling if you can manage this properly. Even myself, how many times I tend to stop but cannot, the reason is probably that, while w are having fun, the chances of increasing your money is on gambling.

Gambling has become an everyday thing for some people and this act has lead to serious addiction which is not good. When gambling we should understand that we are just playing for fun. Most people i know around always take gambling as a very serious issue and i have this particular friend that always complains to me how he has stopped gambling but from no where you still see him gambling again. Me myself am a sesonal gambler and i only gamble on the sport i know which is soccer, i think exploration of new gambling games you are familiar with also causes this repeated feeling of always quitting gambling. I just want to know if this phrase is common among everyone or its just he catch phrase whenever you experiences a big loss.
I am one of those people who want to stop gambling but in the end I failed. I may already be addicted to the fun that you get from gambling, especially if you already have the ambition to win at gambling and don't just think about fun. I was almost driven crazy by gambling until I sold the things I owned to play gambling so I thought gambling addiction was more dangerous than drinking liquor and methamphetamine and even I saw my friend who had sold his house certificate to play gambling and for the victory that he seeks in gambling.
I'm still lucky not to do that even though I can't stop gambling but at least the scale of my gambling can be reduced.
The defeat that we get and the ambition to win in gambling will change all the logic that we build at the beginning before gambling.
If a gambler realizes that he is becoming addicted, he must try to control it. The more time and money you spend in gambling, the more you lose and will try to recover. So keep it limited as much as you lose. Keep a certain amount of money in the budget and when it runs out, wait again until a certain time. If you can manage responsible gambling then you will not be addicted and if you are not addicted then managing gambling will not have any negative effects.

If you are already selling your house certificate in order to gamble, now, you already know what kind of gambler you are.
More than likely, you will end up in deep debt and the people you owed will be chasing you more often.
I think there are a lot of these gamblers that are under this circumstance, they should wake up before all his loved ones are gone from his life.
Lucky for those that can still manage their gambling activities and know their limits. Better contain yourself before you totally ruin your life.

Unless they are winning then there is no stopping. Sometimes they just realize that they are already addicted when all are lost already and have sold some stuff only to gamble. Situations like these already happened in the past, many times.

Whether they win or lose some money, they can stop if they can control it the better of course. But its always losing money that will make a gambler realize he is addicted.

When you are on the winning side temporarily then those losses that you do have earlier or the stress and anger you had felt out would be wiped away on an instant on which these current or recent wins would really be triggering you out once again to play even further or more and this is where a very common approach and reaction of someone who do deal up with gambling.

There's no stopping when you do still have balance into your account or you do have the money something to play which it would really be just a common behavior to have.
In my part, i could stop mid way no matter what since im not that addicted to it, always have the good control of your finances.

Only having intention and admitting we have made a mistake can stop us from gambling. And accompanied by increasing maturity, we can understand that everything requires responsibility, especially gambling, so we will not become addicted. And if we have experienced addiction before, with everyone's help, we can cure it properly and even leave gambling for good. It will be better if someone accompanies us while we are healing ourselves from gambling addiction and they continue to encourage us to let go and leave gambling.

This is just part of my past, then I was very young. as far as I can remember, there were only a few fiat online casinos and one of the most popular was PokerStar, Sbobet. throughout my experience, to stop completely from activities that have become a habit is something that is very complicated and difficult to do, believe me. However you have the intention to quit, if it is not accompanied by strong determination and the desire to break free from addiction it will not work.

To be honest, I like the hobby of gambling. this makes me a little entertained in the middle of the saturation of the activities of the work routine.  but now it's different, as I get older, I have more responsibility, a good understanding of how I define gambling itself.  I still gamble, but not blindly. just being part of the fun of entertainment, with the money i had budgeted and could afford to lose.

commit to a budget plan for gambling, it is one way to control yourself away from gambling slowly. because if the gambler has limited the budget of funds used for gambling, he must really commit to the establishment and if that happens for a few months, I think it will work.
the most important thing is trying to respect the plan and yourself, that is the spirit to stay away from gambling properly and slowly you will definitely be able to really stay away from gambling.
Budget planning can be an effective strategy for controlling gambling. However, the daily or weekly budget should be very flexible.  So that the budget does not allow too many single bets per day and too much time to be spent on gambling.  Then gambling cannot make us addicted to its deep addiction. And only then it is possible to control yourself in gambling.  If not, we can get stuck in the deep addiction of gambling at any time. And then it will be almost impossible to quit gambling
planning a budget for weekly gambling it would be much better. because if we learn to refrain from gambling for 6 days and 1 day to gamble, that's even better. so it won't drain a lot of money and time that is only used for gambling.
actually all the ways can be achieved by gamblers who really want to gamble. because if a gambler who has the intention to stop gambling usually has a great will and commitment to defend against himself not to enter into gambling again.

but also not all gamblers can achieve the goal of stopping gambling, especially addicts who are really crazy about gambling. it requires more extra assistance from some medication such as a psychologist to help provide motivation to stop gambling.
Gambling 2 days a week is not bad and a serious gambling addict will not attack. But if someone starts gambling 4-5 days a week or every day, then surely that gambler will get into a deep addiction. So making a weekly budget for gambling is very necessary and effective because if one spends his weekly budget in one day then he cannot gamble for the remaining six days thus he can control himself a lot from gambling. And if he uses the same budget seven days a week, he will not be able to gamble for a long time. It will also be easier to control himself from gambling.

When a gambler constantly loses in his gambling he suffers from depression. At that time sometimes he can express his frustration through these words. Another thing is that when a gambler regains consciousness after losing everything due to addiction, he can still use such words. However, people who use such words often become active again after taking a few days break from gambling. This is a common term and I think those who have been involved in gambling for a long time are very familiar with this words. But for those who really take gambling as fun or entertainment, normally the words loss and Stop are not heard.

But the essence, not on the problem of how to stop. because throughout my experience it is very difficult to do. at least, I have processed and gone through various things until I found the answer for myself. Until this moment, I still gamble. whether it's betting on sports, slots, dice, or other types of gambling. however, at least now I'm more mature to react to it. with good understanding, as well as responsibility, we will automatically have self-control. that way, make gambling as fun entertainment without harming other people, especially yourself.
You have tried to avoid gambling addiction even though stopping addiction is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand, but at least you have control over the decisions in each gambling and the first attempt to push can limit the balance used for gambling. I think the main factor in avoiding gambling is having the intention to get out of gambling addiction and wisely deciding not to continue gambling when the loss reaches the gambling balance limit,

Yes, that's definitely the key. Admitting the mistake and having the intention to go out of the situation will be the first step towards recovery, it may not be easy to do and start but just trust process because eventually, you will realize someday that you're already far from getting that addiction again. And then, having the discipline to steer clear from the situation again is a must.

Maybe I should answer "TILL NOW"  because everytime I lose ? what I am saying is " I'll quit gambling" and tomorrow when there is a fund available? I gamble again lol.

It's pretty common for those gamblers who lose a lot. I am sure that most of us hear this coming from a gambler who has intense emotions due to losses and is complaining to the casino that it is not fair, but after the emotions calm down, you see him again depositing money, and after winning some games, he wouldn't be saying anything. Though mostly the reason for this is that they are just addicted or they just can't quit due to their need to earn money.
You will only decide to stop gambling if it’s making your life unhealthy because of huge losses you keep on enduring from gambling. But when you start winning again and slowly recovering your losses, your decision has shifted again and instead of quitting gambling, you will just continue to gamble more hoping you can chase more profits instead. Yes, this is very common to gamblers out there, and even myself is not an exception.
well that is the common reason why most gamblers fell from bad living as they  have this addicted character.
try not to become one or else your life will be misery .

I've intended quieting gambling on several occasions but to no avail but one thing I'm extremely certain of is the fact that I'm not a gambling addict.
Addition especially in gambling is a very terrible issue that requires very serious mental and emotional attention from professionals and research has shown that it is one of the greatest additions aside of drugs.
Just as OP has said and I also agree that one of the reasons people gamble alot is trying to test all features of a casino and another greater reason for addition is when a player begins chasing after their losses as a result of using money he or she can't afford to lose.
Maybe your time to calm down hasn't worked because you haven't been preoccupied with other things outside of gambling. Try doing other things unrelated to gambling and see the results. I think it can work as long as you can have a variety of activities each day so that your minds will not think about gambling but about those activities. It is this mental problem that most often leads gamblers into an even bigger problem and they don't realize it. So maybe we have to change our mindset before we stop gambling.

Trying to test all the features that the casino has is fine as long as we can control ourselves so we don't get carried away by the pleasure we will get from gambling. This is why we must have good self-control when playing gambling, namely to keep ourselves from crossing the boundaries that we already have.
