I'm not sure how many of me there were, but in the end it was just crap. You can never get away from gambling if you are still in this industry every day. I've even been off for a few months, but I can still come back the next month. Just by lowering the intensity I think the problem can be minimized, but someone who is very troubled should plan to stop completely and consult for recovery.

Finally the decision to stop can only be arranged by you, but success or failure only depends on how you have the intention and prevent yourself from getting involved.

I take longer period without betting.
Sometimes also really long likewise months or year. Maybe I can gamble with some free funds just for not waste some bonus.

I can take a bet or gamble just because I find something that really deserve attention otherwise during these periods I don't place literally no bets.

Probably after years and years of gambling yes I am not playing as before so probably I am going to stop any activity on it.

If you mean stop by trimming down your gambling habits, then I would have to say its a thing of the past that came at a cost of  my persistence but, if your talking about putting a complete halt on it? I just haven't. Gambling hasn't been much of a problem as I am always in control of my gambling habits.

It's not just drinks tht you get to "drink responsibly". Even gambling too, you've got to be responsible while gambling. You shouldn't gamble if you can't handle yourself, if you've got no stable means of income, don't know where or when to draw the line and head home or logout.

There is a reason why it's often rated 18years and above. Not like those above 18years of age should gamble but, it someworth defines a level of reasoning that is expected of an individual if that age. Handle yourself good while gambling.

Always I had to stop gambling due to losses I did it without further issues, besides a temporary urge, impulse to keep playing, because it's really hard to accept you lost and it's game over. But after controling that temporary emotion I quit gambling until recovering my losses through another sources of income, so I can come back to gambling again later.

Right now, I'm recovering myself from a loss, so I quited gambling, although I have plans to gamble again once I conclude this recovery.

None, because I was never addicted to gambling, I am very disciplined and I only gamble when I can afford it, most times 1% of my earnings per week is why I use it for gambling, if you said you find it very hard to stop gambling it means you are addicted to gambling. I think it's also better to gamble not only because of the earnings but out of deriving fun.

In my case the answer is never. I don't gamble very often and I don't lose a lot of money doing it so I don't feel the need to stop. I feel like only when you know you're addicted or gambling makes a negative impact on your life you should start thinking of stopping. Why should a casual drinker who drinks a few beers once a week when he's out with friends should stop? It's the same with gamblers. You can be a casual gambler or keep doing it all day, every day.

Gambling has become an everyday thing for some people and this act has lead to serious addiction which is not good. When gambling we should understand that we are just playing for fun. Most people i know around always take gambling as a very serious issue and i have this particular friend that always complains to me how he has stopped gambling but from no where you still see him gambling again. Me myself am a sesonal gambler and i only gamble on the sport i know which is soccer, i think exploration of new gambling games you are familiar with also causes this repeated feeling of always quitting gambling. I just want to know if this phrase is common among everyone or its just he catch phrase whenever you experiences a big loss.

For me gambling is not something foreign, since I was young. so, it's only natural that I was once part of a gambling addict. be it traditional gambling, land-based casinos, or fiat casinos. the worst thing was when I started playing poker, baccarat, etc., I had a hard time with what happened to my life personally. not infrequently, I often try to stop gambling. I don't know how many times I tried it, I don't even remember. and frankly, it's very hard to do. the temptation and strong urge to play gambling, always crossed my mind.

Until finally, I can control myself well. then crypto casinos appeared, I switched from fiat casinos and played at crypto casinos. armed with my experience in the past, at least, I have limits and self-control so as not to be led to addiction. and the most important point is, understanding and responsibility. if someone is able to decipher the meaning of both, i'm pretty sure. Gambling can be interpreted as just being a fun part of entertainment, without having to harm other people, family, and even ourselves.

The more you try stopping it to gamble the harder it becomes because you're just too used to it, yes we all find it difficult to stop what we have started especially when we derive this kind of satisfaction in it, I don't make any move towards putting a stop to my gambling lifestyle because it's not beyond my control or what a couldn't cope doing anymore, but in case of those interested to quit a d put a stop then they should work on a substitute first than starting the unfinished task.

I think if you want to stop you need to stop, i know this sound like the same with other words, but not.

Definitely, but it's two different things in my opinion, it's the emotion though that you need to conquer. If you don't have control over it, even if your mind says to stop, you can still go back and gamble and continue.

If your mind and body tell you from the inside STOP no matter for what (most probably for losing money, or maybe time), you need to quit the gambling and re think all yourself and life, because you were hooked and you can fall more.

Again it's takes more than that. That's why gambling addiction is way different to let's say quitting smoking. It will really take a lot from you, mind, body and the help from within your circles, families and friends before you can quit gambling for good.

Clearly. If you want to stop doing something and continue doing it, you definitely have a problem. I think a lot of people lean on addiction to explain their problems as well, but to me that’s a cop out. Nobody forces you to do things you don’t want to do. If you keep gambling when you know you should stop then you are just a weak minded individual who lets their greed control them. Just quit cold turkey if you need to. Quit listening to people who sympathize with what you’re going for a take some responsibility for your actions.

I have stopped gambling twice.

Firstly, when I was in my first year in school,I do gamble on dice with my friends  in my neighborhood. It all started in a cool evening when we were gambling, I was winning big and so I was very happy and forgot to stop at that moment, before I knew it,I was losing and lost everything even with the money I borrowed. The owner of the money arrested me and I had nobody to assist me with cash to payback. So I was in the police custody up to three days before someone help me out from that crap.

Secondly, was when I used my tuition fee for gambling in my final year which affected the time I was suppose to graduate from the university. Now am a responsible gambler and would continue gambling, since I can control myself on it.

I have not attempt to stop gambling because it helps individuals to think more most times, gambling in the recent time is a good Business for somany persons, the large population see gamble a rekindle hope because most of them use low money on it and always expect to win high, to start Gambling is easy but to take that hard decision of stoping it is manly as I call it because of the addictive nature.

Except for newbies in gambling I don't think I've made some necessary steps in stopping how i gambles since it does not affect me in a negative way, i believe what we need to control is the addiction and not the gambling since we gambling at our leisure with all convenience, no one forces other to gamble, we make use of our earned money to also gamble, so it should be what we desire and get ancious to do, stopping it means we made a wrong decision by starting at first, which i believe that gambling should not be a regrettable decision if taken since we were not forced to do so.

in my case, I don't think about stopping because I play for fun, I just make sports bets, for example I put 10$ in my bankroll to be able to play, and I set bets for each game from 1.40 to 1.50$ and when I win until I get 20 $ of bankroll I keep playing until the bankroll grows and then I withdraw and leave 10$ and start doing the same thing of making bets with 1.40 to 1.50$ and increasing the bet amount every time I win and mine capital increase.

it is necessary to manage the bankroll well and have a good game strategy, if the person, for example, plays today with 10$ and the next day plays with 40$ while only having 50$ of bankroll, that person will lose all the bankroll because he did not have good management and of course he will say he will stop playing, but the next day he will make a deposit and lose again

Whenever I experience big loss I make plans to quit gambling. With much difficulty it lasts for atleast one month. Soon after that once again the wavering mind gets directed into gambling. At times long break gives good winning during comeback, but missing the comeback luck and continuing to make further wins once again leads to loss. So most of the time while making comeback I used to limit myself and enjoy the winning. Every gambler would've made such decision atleast once.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
The only times I have tried to stop gambling "forever" is when I made big losses which made me angry and out of that very anger, I swore "never to gamble again". But here I am, gambling Grin

Unless someone has an obvious gambling addiction which is crippling his finances and his personal or work life, I do not think that promising to yourself never to gamble again is meant as a serious dedication.

So how many times have I sworn (without taking it seriously) to stop gambling? Many times.

How many times have I SERIOUSLY tried to stop? Not one time.

I thought I had stopped gambling before. As I said, I realized that this was just my opinion. Gambling is like an obligatory habit. You can't stop drinking water! I can summarize it exactly this way. I've thought many times about stopping gambling, I can't express it in numbers. But I don't think about it anymore, I don't have such a goal.
My advice; Keep playing and enjoying.

To me gambling is an addictive behaviour or habbit that takes an individual whose personal decisions is taken as their priority to really put a stop to it, gambling as it sound has many things involved more expecially when you are favoured by the act you always see yourself going for more in the other hand when you loss you will still continue hoping that one day you will surely win, using myself as a case study I have not thought of stoping it because sincerely I want to hit high and that's the mindset of a real gambler.

Never. I just switched to sports gambling. Then, to never feel that bad loss, I don't gamble big amounts anymore. Don't chase losses that will make you double the losses if it fails. Take just half of the bet.
Discipline will play an important role when you are gambling and I've been keeping it clear that I should not go for fast games like Slots or Dice because that's where I lose a lot back in the day.
Just thinking about that huge amount of BTC (years ago) accumulated loss in one gambling site makes me regret it even now.
But, you will have to learn from it instead of quitting. Because I have seen gamblers who tried to quit and just made it worst. They are now gambling addicts.
