Maybe $1 if you play in more than 20 faucets Grin

This. Faucets are no good.

Yeah, that's exactly right. That's why I said that $1 for more than 20 faucets Grin

Nice experiment. I didn't think that it would be so much. Of course, $2.40 for 12 hours is not much for people from the developed world, but for people from developing countries it is much more as they usually have to spend for a day  Shocked

With some free time today at work,, I decided to test my luck and see how many Satoshi's I could get in 15 minutes. This was to give myself a base line and try to contribute some useful information to the thread. I was at work and at the same time multi-tasking with my job so wasn't going to be a record breaker.

So in that 15 minutes, I got 20770 Satoshi.
If I times that 4 to get 1 hour, that is 83,080 Satoshi.
83,080 Satoshi = 0.0008308 BTC
0.0008308 BTC @ 240USD/BTC = USD $ 0.199392
In 12 Hours I would earn USD $2.3927

I don't think I'm going to quit my day job  Grin

0,12 BTC ... if lucky.

i'm not lucky.

Cheesy so i wait for the 2016 halving instead.
What would the halving possibly deliver in terms of making BTC? if anything we'll make even less BTC (considering the price should go up).

Well due to supply and demand the value of bitcoin should go up. Let's hope there either the same or much more demand for bitcoin when it happens and the value could skyrocket.

Actually, if you were really to truly work on faucets every single day non-stop for a week, say 8 hours a day, you can make quite a bit. Not as much as a job, but it's probably more than you'd think.

I would guess that you could make about $1-1.5 per hour with faucets. So 56 - 84 per week, ~0.23 - 0.35BTC/week.

This involves NOT wasting ANY time at all, so you can't lose focus, go to the washroom, drink a cup of whatever, etc.

you are saying that you can earn 500k+ satoshi per hour with faucet? i think it's not possible at all, eve with the best 1k faucets you need 500 of those(and there aren't 500 faucets that pay 1k each) then counting 10 sec(a bit far-stretched) on average to resolve a captcha

will result in only 6 faucets per minute and 360 per hour....(this not counting various little rest and the time you waste to move to another faucet)

Exactly. You can however easily make that hourly rate with a signature campaign. (Or even just a single constructive post. Almost.)

signature campaign i could agree, they are equal to a job right now, tnx to bit-x rate and dadice(best two at the moment)

but you still to post all day for a high earning, it's not easy and is a bit stressful in the end

I have recently had a talk to someone who is clicking faucets all the day. I said that it is not worth the time but he answered: "Getting 0.001 BTC a day from faucets might be a ridiculous low benefit of 3 cents now but if Bitcoin will reach its true potential this 0.001 BTC turns into $30 or even $300. So, I guess its more the hope than psychology.

I'm just going to negate this without calculating anything. You can earn a lot (more) cash if you spend the same time doing an actual job!
You don't need to have some special skills. Jobs that include something simple as a shovel or lawn mower will earn you more than faucets (as a free bonus they burn calories too!).

Yes. Something about free money makes us lose focus on what's actually going on. We all want a get rich quick scheme but they are usually too good to be true. When you do the calculations and convert to USD you will see how little you are actually making with faucets. But still we do it - probably has something to do with human psychology and maybe related to gambling.

in any case is still better to invest your time in something more remunerative, like a real job that pay in bitcoin, or signature, or even some mining(but altcoin) with the right miner they are still profitable

suppose you sign in many faucet websites, stay online for approximately 15 hours a day for a week. raping the faucet cashout and captcha solving MANUALLY. no bots involved.

how much will you earn at the end of the week?

i have been trying to understand faucets. how much you can make out of faucets a week. every person will have a different answer since there over a dozen if not more faucet websites that you can earn.

taking into consideration that we are spending 15hours on btc and ltc faucets altogether for 7 days in a row.

I would say about $50, you need some bot to save a lot of time. You basically just need to type in capcha if you use bots.

How to get 1BTC a week? The best way is to get a job. Wink

I agree with Stargazer and sgk, I recently just got into bit coins and was interested in faucets so played around with it while i was at work. They offer no valuable benefits that would lead me to quit my job. In a days work (9 hours), I can buy 1 BTC which would be better than me clicking on a faucet for 15 hours; 15 hours would be very dull to be honest.

Until I head home for vacation, I will then pick up a couple of Antminers and bring them back to run in my company's test environment and mine for BTC or LTC.

Invest in equipment instead of faucets  Smiley

in the country i live, the average salary is 1.5btc per month.. Mauritius Island.

thats why i was asking this. you work from 8h30 am to 5h00 pm for a month and you are paid approx 300$ to 400$

So, the point is. Don't work for people! Work for yourself so that you can get the full profit, not sharing it to other people or given by other people. (CMIIW)

Yeah I am opening my own business soon, you get nowhere in life working for someone else.

amasingly i might turn to faucets in general like 10 of them the best in order to have 20 dollars a week or soo becuse my ptc sites are mostly scams and faucet are not

agreed. pay to click is just a huge scam. i dont even try those. basically useless. faucets are ok but the number of satoshis you need to get to 1 bitcoin makes the effort you can give all by yourself stupid and worthless..
you need to have about 10 laptops in your room, to click on the best faucets to get approximately 0.5 btc per 10days.. its just useless.

I've tried PTC sites too. Absolutely not worth it. Way way worse than faucets in comparison most faucets are pretty straightforward.

i have 1-2 things in the line. but with many bugs, and many problems. like an ebay-bitcoin website, its up, running, but 1-2 problems concerning the checkout page.

have a domain : bitcoinloanbureau.com
which i was planning to make 2-3 or more bitcoin lenders from this forum to be the lenders there and getting on a bigger market. the domain is still inactive, i havent done anything yet..

ive bought 3-4 scripts for casinos, oh well.. i gave up the idea anyway...

am trying to learn how to make coins, so that i can set up a website and build coins for people who want their own alts... the number of things i have to learn is ok, i can learn. but where to get the tutorials. thats  another problem. considering i am using a celeron laptop of 2.2 ghz, from the year 2005 Cheesy

i have an idea box in my head, but cannot really put them to work

Search this forum and you will find various threads about creating altcoins (eg. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-foo-and-bar-coins-a-how-to-guide-for-cutpaste-cryptocurrency-217636) There are also threads of people offering the creation service or selling automated scripts. I also found this website http://coincreator.net but I have never used and cannot endorse it.

yes, i already looked at those yesterday. since i am still in the learning process and the noob grade it will take some time before i understand everything.

also the website just gives you the coin, no pool, no wallet. nothing.
i have been looking at websites and tutorials for 12hours or so now. its all messy in my head. will take some moment to calm everything and set things right. the basics of bitcoins itself i dont know, let alone script or source.. even the mining process. like i said, i am very very noob in this. the thing is in my island nobody uses bitcoins. if i walk on the street and do a poll, maybe 1 over 1000 people can say : ive heard of it, but dont know what it is Cheesy

Even if it was actually literally possible to earn this much, it wouldnt be physically possible to work this amount of time. You'd be physically and mentally exhausted doing this much 'work' constantly it just wouldnt be worth the small amount of money you'd be getting.
