Actually, if you were really to truly work on faucets every single day non-stop for a week, say 8 hours a day, you can make quite a bit. Not as much as a job, but it's probably more than you'd think.

I would guess that you could make about $1-1.5 per hour with faucets. So 56 - 84 per week, ~0.23 - 0.35BTC/week.

This involves NOT wasting ANY time at all, so you can't lose focus, go to the washroom, drink a cup of whatever, etc.

I'm just going to negate this without calculating anything. You can earn a lot (more) cash if you spend the same time doing an actual job!
You don't need to have some special skills. Jobs that include something simple as a shovel or lawn mower will earn you more than faucets (as a free bonus they burn calories too!).

Yes. Something about free money makes us lose focus on what's actually going on. We all want a get rich quick scheme but they are usually too good to be true. When you do the calculations and convert to USD you will see how little you are actually making with faucets. But still we do it - probably has something to do with human psychology and maybe related to gambling.

Some people hope, that one day satoshi would be worth a buck - so if it's that easy to get some now, why not?  Wink
Holding and investing (or gambling  Grin) your satoshis are the only reasonable way to use faucets - trying to cash out that pennies is definitely not worth effort.

Why would you waste your time on faucets (which it literally is a waste of time). The best way to get easy btc would probably be from signature campaigns and its possible to earn 1btc a month on some campaigns if you put in the effort but you might need a higher ranked account for that (or several lower ranked ones). Don't bother with faucets though.

I do faucets and use the money from them to invest in coins that I think will roi or asset backed crypto currencies, that way my 0.005 a week i make say from faucets can grow exponentially when reinvesting in other stuff, it's all about the compounding..look after the pennies and pounds will take care of themselves they say. I click around 300-400 faucets daily.. Smiley

How to get 1BTC a week? The best way is to get a job. Wink

I agree with Stargazer and sgk, I recently just got into bit coins and was interested in faucets so played around with it while i was at work. They offer no valuable benefits that would lead me to quit my job. In a days work (9 hours), I can buy 1 BTC which would be better than me clicking on a faucet for 15 hours; 15 hours would be very dull to be honest.

Until I head home for vacation, I will then pick up a couple of Antminers and bring them back to run in my company's test environment and mine for BTC or LTC.

Invest in equipment instead of faucets  Smiley

in the country i live, the average salary is 1.5btc per month.. Mauritius Island.

thats why i was asking this. you work from 8h30 am to 5h00 pm for a month and you are paid approx 300$ to 400$

So, the point is. Don't work for people! Work for yourself so that you can get the full profit, not sharing it to other people or given by other people. (CMIIW)

Can't tell you the exact amount but I'm sure it will not be enough to pay for your daily living expenses including the electricity and internet connection bill. Also, you haven't taken into account the transaction fees incurred for spending the coins because all the dust payment can really eat up your earnings.

Forget the idea to use faucets. They are not worth the time and work. In my opinion, there are currently three options to really earn Bitcoins or altcoins steadily:

First, sign for an honest signature program (find an good overview here). You can make up to 0.1 BTC weekly depending on your member rank.

Second, offer some service where you are good in like web designing, programming, video editing, translating or something else in the services section here. If you are good you will make some good earnings.

Third, invest into serious and reliable assets on the Nxt Asset Exchange which increases in value and usually paying dividends. I know Nxt is controversial for most BTC users, but it is the most well-engineered and matured asset platform in the crypto world so far.

at the very beginning i was solely getting my satoshi's from faucets. i did not manage to get more than $0,10 per day.
it was nothing more than a waste of time. it's simply not worth it.

faucets are useless so every other crap like py per click or wacthing video and get payed, all those give you a too small amount

join a campaign instead and you will make at least 0.1 a week, maybe more, but not at your current level, you need to reach full member at least

well if i buy 3-4 full member account. they are sold approx 0.1-0.2 btc

suppose i invest in them. what signature campaign can make me ROI quickly? or at least within the first month itself.

0.1 per week is quite good. and if i have 4 account that will make 1.2 btc monthly. but of course i know the rules of no spamming.

bear in mind that signature campaign don't allow more account per user, if they see the same post style you will be banned forever i guess

besides this you need to reach at least full member status and join bit-x or dadice(those are the best right now)

ROI is very fast with sig, yes, absolutely worth it

if you play with 20-30 BTC ... probality is with you.
but, you can't always win so the sum must be blocked on the exchange for 3-4 months for example (to equalize the lost and gains).

OP is talking about faucets, so there is no gambling involved. So there's no question of winning or losing.

@OP:
whatever you earn, I'm sure sure it will not be more than a few dollars.
Instead it is better to just work a day job and buy BTC from fiat.

You will not make any substantial money but you can make some satoshis to play around with. If you really want to earn bitcoins online and have the time the best option is almost always to do a signature campaign. Anyway, the subject is interesting to me and I have tried: CoinAd I'm making around ~0.001 BTC per month. I find focusing on a the few highest paying faucets works best for me. Also, referral are the main way of earning on faucets. In total maximum I would say you could maybe make around ~0.005 BTC if you're active.

suppose you sign in many faucet websites, stay online for approximately 15 hours a day for a week. raping the faucet cashout and captcha solving MANUALLY. no bots involved.

how much will you earn at the end of the week?

i have been trying to understand faucets. how much you can make out of faucets a week. every person will have a different answer since there over a dozen if not more faucet websites that you can earn.

taking into consideration that we are spending 15hours on btc and ltc faucets altogether for 7 days in a row.
Faucets are a joke, don't waste your time on them.
They all offer thousands of satoshis, but in USD terms they offer less than 1c per hour, if you find a god one.

Ask yourself, would you waste your time for 15h a day clicking on some crappy website, to earn a quarter?  Of course you wouldn't, don't let the small denominations trick you, 1 million picodollars is also near worthless!
