So you are talking about risk. The risk in investing in bitcoin or anything is that you can lose all your money. That is the highest kind of risk in anything. Risk is everywhere in life and investment in bitcoins is also not risk free. So there is no thing in the life which has no risk. But i still think investment is bitcoins has very less risk as it is the most demanding currency of this decade.

it is all speculation, the risks are there but in my opinion price going down in long term has a very small chance. but in short term because of some stuff that are going on can go down but i won't last long.ut there is another risk that people usually forget, when you are using bitcoin you are in charge of keeping your private keys (your wallet) safe. and if you fail to do that, you will lose your money

There is always risk in any investment but i think in bitcoin, there is only a small risk for investing your money on it. If you invest in bitcoin then you can sleep very well because you don't need to worry for getting a loss because in the long run, the price is always going up and that is good for long term kind of investor. Bitcoin is one of the safest for me and i trust bitcoin for having my money.

That's correct that is why we do not have to put all our money in this investment, diversifying it would be wise IMO.

Not sure what you mean by there being no-one here, looking around on the forum there's still a fair amount of people and I haven't been seeing any mass exoduses, even a trickle of users away from the community doesn't seem like a major concern right now. While the market might be a bit of a gamble, it does have some trends that it follows and it isn't impossible to predict movements, just a bit more of a challenge with whales and everything.

Maybe old users of Bitcoin are leaving, but the community seems really vibrant for what it is. I could be wrong.

I agree. If it is in the high point of its rate, volitality should we expect as what does huge traders' tactics do. I think, it's better to wait more and watch if it is consistent enough before buying bitcoins again.

The risk associated with bitcoin would always be there in terms of investments. How much risk one is willing to take is up to him. If a person decides to go all in on bitcoin, that could either be a brave or outrageous move, depending on how much the price of bitcoin has increased or decreased. But if we look at the historical performance, one cannot be blamed for taking more risk because the reward is definitely big.

A Bitcoin investment used to be a lot more risky, this would be I say around a year ago based on the volatility of the market and in one day you could lose 10 percent of your value in Bitcoin if you were holding but it could also go the other way! (Never happend to me I'm not that lucky) The risk isn't as high now, but Bitcoin as a whole is still a currency that has these fluctuations now it just takes a week for this all to happen instead of a day and so on.

This is still more of a better investment than other cryptos such as the many altcoins but still very risky. May want to explore the stock market before doing something so drastic like buying into this.

Bitcoin investment can be risky only if you cannot handle it smartly and if you are smart enough then you will be making good profits from it by taking an advantage of price volatility and if you can do that then there is no risk in investing in bitcoins.

Just be ready if ever the price go down and be happy when the price go up. But right now it is worth to take the risk as you said it, the price goes up in the long run.
