Yes investing money in bitcoins is safe in compare to investing bitcoin in any online sites as we had bad experience in the past by investing our bitcoins there hoping to multiply them quick but it never happened as those sites were scam who disappeared with people's money.

exactly and even the price is down like you said, we are sure the price will reach more higher than before. we all know that bitcoin have risk and the risk is only about we are loss the amount of money we buy bitcoin but behind that we still have the best investment that we made because the price is always increase. i think if we want to buy bitcoin, its better to wait for the down price. after the price is increase, i am sure that there are any correction of the price so we can get bitcoin with lower price.

Even the seasoned traders of Bitcoin can't answer your question. We don't know what will happen to BTC in the future and if you're going to investment money to it, you should stop asking people the risk involved in it. Why? You should be responsible to your OWN investments. Do your own research. Try to read the chart to get the fair price to enter and exit from it.

The price right now is a bit high. But if this price holds for many days, you could try to enter some money into it and see if the price of it will fall or increase more. My advice is to invest to it bit by bit.

In every investment it has always risk the same with bitcoin, there is no guarantee that you will gain from it because many possibilities might happen along the way. if you decided to invest on it make sure that you are prepared for the outcome because investing is like gambling. btc is for long term investment and you need to be patient, imo this is not the right time to buy wait for the price to drop a bit.

Well if not in the price of bitcoin by buying and investing with it, I think it is on bitcoin mining, well investing your money with this machine can certainly cost you a lot and you don't expect to ROI that much if you make expenses more than you are earning, well there are a lot of expenses with mining equipment, electrical and internet bill, I think the coverage of expenses needed for this is higher that you can expect you can earn.

yes risk is not only there in bitcoin investment but there is always risk in all types of investment. and without risky no one can make money from trading and investment. but still if you have good experience and skill in trading and investment then you can surely reduce the risk of losing money, as in trading we do not depend 100 % on our luck as we do in gambling. so you need to have good experience and trading and investment skill while going to invest your money in bitcoin or altcoins.

Even though all investments got some risks but bitcoins falls under high-risk investment. Especially now because its prices are almost all time high and we all know that its prices can move both directions quite fast. So we can make fast profits and as well as we can also lose money fast. So we shouldn't keep all our money in these high-risk investments, and also we shouldn't miss these products to make good and quick profits. So just allocate some funds for these high-risk products.

Need some spare btc for a new PC

Investing into something is basically gambling, you ca never know what can happened tomorrow and you'll lose money and maybe you'll profit. I'd suggest you to research the market well before investing into bitcoin. Tho, I think that buying and holding bitcoin is a great idea because the price is still relatively low to what it's specualted to be in the future year or two. I'd suggest you to buy and hold but if you're interested into investing bitcoin into something, I'd strongly suggest you not to invest all of bitcoins you have, keep more than half and hold it.

Invest either in a casino or in some cool altcoin projects. I highly recommend investing in some altcoin projects. Try to support the ones that sre actually backed by something and not just dreams of being rich.

Well, first things first, is that money you're going to use to buy BTC "disposable"? Do you not mind losing it? Also, do you have other saving that you can pull cash out of, rather than dipping into your BTC? If yes, then go ahead.

It currently is at its peak price a few months ago. You might wait for a few days to see any drop, coz as always, it's better to buy stuff when they're cheaper.

As for risks, if we are just talking about price, bitcoin has shown that despite plunges and plateaus it always manages to raise its ceiling so long-term it's a good investment.

As for the technical stuff, you'd probably see people here arguing on how to fix the current state bitcoin is in, with people complaining about high fees and slow confirmation time. I'm one of those clueless on how it should be dealt with but let's just keep our ears ready for news.

I believe in bitcoin will stay around for a long time, as long as there are users, devs, miners and exchanges that supports bitcoin community, it will continue to rise which has been proven all this time until today. Bitcoin start from nothing and become mainstream, worth $1300.
There is risk involved in every investment, including bitcoin too. But the risk is very small, depends on your point of view, if you want to save bitcoin for long term, then anytime is the best time to buy it.

It is true that we have increasing demand on the bitcoin, when the supply stays the same (on the contrary to the regular currency) but it doesnt necessarily means that it has very small risk because of that.
I would even say that bitcoin is in the group of the risky assets, because its price is highly volatile, and the fluctuations are on the chart everyday, with a unexpected moves.
Only lately, BTC has become kind of stable, but I think that is because everybody is waiting for some incident that will be a key to further rise, or drop.
I assume it will be rather a price decrease, because we have been for so long on the 1200-1250$ area.

There are many sites that will show you false results and will even have trusted feedback from the users but the fact is they themselves are busy in giving positive trust ratings to their sites which can attract many people to invest in their sites but at the end they will only scam you.

There is another risk like you will not be able to get an insurance for your investment.
