how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress associated with this?  I am checking it every few hours and it drives me crazy and makes me anxious. Is there anybody in a similar situation and how do you cope with this?

PS: I was trying to do this once a month, but I think, I missed the beginning of the bear market in January this year because of this.

Thanks,
Mike
You need to relax I know that it is not easy but you need to do it, what is the point of earning a huge amount of money to your trading activities if you are stressed all the time and you eventually get sick because of it? Stress is one of the main factors that causes a lot of diseases in the long term, so learn to relax, learn what works for you maybe you can try meditation or yoga.

I check it very often which leads me to a couple of times worrying about it every time the prices drop. My partner told me to get rid of checking it too much because it won't really help and I followed it. I am now just checking it whenever needed and as the market starts to recover, it always surprises me.
People obsess over the value of their coins, I cannot really blame them if you have invested a significant amount of money then it is natural to be worried and try to do everything you can to get the most profits, but at some point you need to realize that no matter what you do you need to let the market do its thing, you cannot make it grow any faster it doesn't matter how much you watch it, once you realize that it is a lot easier to not look at the market all the time.
Not only that its always been part of human nature for us to get worried because we are talking money on here which we do really value and we dont like for it to lose.Even myself cant really resist not to check out the price every now and then even i do know that i cant do nothing because market prices wont really be in a rush.If you dont like to stress out yourself then better not to look actively.

if you are anything like (the old) me then what you are doing means that you don't know what you are doing that is why you keep checking the price!
otherwise if you know what you are doing, if you can speculate the market and make an educated decision and make logical moves based on that decision then you don't need to keep checking the price.

for example if you analyzed the market and decided it is a good time to buy with the least risk and placed an order you won't have to endure stress.
and with experience you should know what to do when that small chance of failure happened and you started losing money.
It is even an insensible move for someone to be checking the price every time because it is either they are expecting too much in the short term or they have gotten greedy, thereby getting anxious along the line. This is the reason why no one should ever get greedy when it comes to investing, as it is important to invest what would at least give you rest of mind.

Over time, experience will always teach everyone a lesson anyway and they may feel the value looks huge and may not even increase again now, but they'd be surprised what it may be like in few years’ time.

This depends on many factors. When I was buying bitcoins with credit money, I checked the price every 5 minutes. Now, when I invest only on my own money, I check the price once a week. As they say, feel the difference.

If you want to know about me then I will say that you do not check so much, Bitcoin is a lot more volatile , If you look at it in less time you must make the head crazy.

I sometimes check it from time to time, just to monitor the price if it's a good time to buy back and get more bitcoin. I check it too when I need to cash out, because most of my are in crypto, whenever I ran out of money I convert some of my bitcoin to fiat, but I make sure that the price is favorable.

I don't have any fixed schedule to check the price of Bitcoin.I just check when I have time. So if there is no significant changes, so I won't take a short look at its price. If the price  falls, I Will not pay attention to it
To be honest, I'm already very tired of watching the price. I keep my funds on the air and wanted to invest in Bitcoin. But as the price began to rise, I will still leave my attention to the etherium.

Very often I would say, few times a day but somehow I came to the phase that this doesn't make stresfull situation for me.
I look at the price changes, both positive and negative as an new opportunity or chance I have to use in the best possible way. And I now that volatility is quite natural for bitcoin so price changes are something that can't be avoided.
Yes.Because no matter what, its price fluctuations are still inevitable. So you just have to be calm as always and don't expect too much in cryptocurrency so you won't be frustrated when things aren't working according to your will. For me,i check btc price before sleeping and after waking up.That would be enough for me not to be left behind whenever there are dumps or pumps happening.
These are some of the things we will always get to deal with. This is first of all a new and small market and until we see a huge growth in the long run before we may start considering to see some level of stability but for now, there is really nothing anyone can do than to just keep holding irrespective of what is going on and stop checking the price every minute as long as they are looking forward to the future and they do not want their emotions to end up sending them out of the market.

The main idea of checking your investment once in a while is just to access them and not to panic, and there is no way it is going to be easy not getting tempted once in a while to check them. However, it is just a way to stay in tune on the situation of things while looking forward to the future. However, for those who have the tendency to panic, I would always advise there is really no need since it is going to end up giving them unnecessary emotional stress anyway.

Sinbad Mixer: Mix Your BTC Quickly
I check the bitcoin price everyday. But I am not as stressed as you. It is not an exam. It is just a price. What keeps me calm is that I am sure that the price will grow, and even if it drops down, it will be okay for me because I believe in the potentials of bitcoin. Therefore, if you want to cope with stress, just be patient and believe in bitcoin. As you can see, the market is green now. People were like this is the end of bitcoin.

because bitcoin prices can change at any time even every second, I always see bitcoin prices every time, every time I have time. seeing the price of all green coins alone can relieve my stress
I am not too regularly checking because I am not usually withdrawing all the funds I have, what I am doing is to make sure that when I withdrew my money it is at its peak price, well, I don't let myself stress out with the current price as I know the price now still will change.

Well the best thing to do is dont look at the price so you wont get depress by it. Instead find some activity that will take off your mind from it like spending your valuable time earning bitcoin or do some trading. For me i just do some signature campaigns then wait for the news when the btc price is bullish once more.
You should know that avoiding fear and looking for alternative activities just makes you do not understand the market and can not stabilize the psychology, sometimes you will not be able to make important decisions while you forget the market. What you should do is look at the problem in a simpler way, check the price every few hours, it will make you know the market trend but should not put too much pressure on the minds and force us to do something, comfortable and relaxed, the change that the strong in the market need a very long time, maintaining everything at normal levels, we will no longer stress

Looking for gigs
During the Bitcoin crash starting mid-January, I am tempted to check BTC price every few hours only to see it free falling down to $5,700. From there, I stopped checking them for a long while until a news popped up about the slightly recovery, only to fall once again. As of now, I only check at least once in a while (maybe once or up to three times a day) since the April tax deadline has ended that results for BTC and the others to go up again.

It depends on the type of person you are like if you are a trader then you will/have to look at the prices frequently on the other hand if you are more of an investor then checking the prices once or twice in a week is what you shall prefer(i generally prefer this).

But yes having the market awareness is important to be updated with the news so that you don't get trapped in ab ear market.

If you have time, try at least to watch it especially if your targetting that coin pump, not all pumps happen in morning, many things can happen in a span of day, it may pump in just a few hours, so if you're seeing a positive increase and wanting it to trade better give more time, if possible to not miss that chance. We need to extend the time in trading if we prefer to do day trading and as we keep on doing it, we will eventually learn what things must be done to be successful in trading, It is only a matter of experience and determining the importance of that coin so it can survive in a volatile market.
Yes, and this kind of stuffs happens to most markets once in a while.
The thing here is that every coin always has a specific time they pump in the long term and the way the market always responds after the pump, so it is indeed a normal thing to always target those periods. For those who are watching their folio and panicking when the price is going lower is absurd. Checking your portfolio main reason is to take advantage of the peak if you want to at least do some long term trading.
