LOL, then you will get the stress and happiness equally bro, When the bitcoin value bumps up in the market we will be able to get the profit at the same time when we see the price goes cheap we should ready to hold the bitcoins for longtime.
Instead of that you can manipulate on various when the bitcoin goes to bigger in the market mate.

how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress associated with this?  I am checking it every few hours and it drives me crazy and makes me anxious. Is there anybody in a similar situation and how do you cope with this?

PS: I was trying to do this once a month, but I think, I missed the beginning of the bear market in January this year because of this.

Thanks,
Mike
As of now I'm not stress about the price in the market because as of now I contented to what I see in the market and i think you should not always check the chart in the market because it makes you frustrated enjoy and be positive always.
For that best strategy is to hold the coin you have. That will automatically help you to withdraw all such tensions and problems and complexities and will guide you to make a better life ahead. Holding has a hub of positive vibes and especially for the bitcoins. All other coins can be hold but there are some chances that they might give you bad results. So be confident on bitcoins and hold them.

Checking the price every few hours is not that wrong, the problem is if you spend a lot more than a few seconds after looking at the price, after all looking at the price does not take that long, the truth is that you are facing a problem that every long term investor or trader faces, we care about our money that's why we are investing, we want more of it and that is why we are willing to take the risk of losing it, but coping with it is not easy you will probably have a lot of sleepless nights and the only thing that you can do is to endure it.

Perhaps you are too worried about the price of bitcoin. This means that the losses are very significant to you. Maybe you invested more money than you needed to. But the greater the risk, the greater the profit. Everyone decides for himself.

If it stresses you out means that you have invested way more money than you should have. You have broken the one rule that everyone keep on saying. Try to not check the price more than three times in a day and set alerts if you feel that you will miss out on the price swings. Also if you believe in the project than the price shouldn't matter that much to you.
Having a look at the market value of the crypto coin in which you have invested your money is a good thing but there is no such need of looking the market value of any of the coin after every 5 or 10 seconds as it won’t change anything. You need to stay patient and that you need to keep your nerves and emotions under your control so that you may not get panicked by looking at the market situation.

You do not need to intentionally check the price if you have something to do with cryptocurrency. You just would see the price either while researching on a coin,  you want to buy or you read in a thread. Your eyes and fingers can take you to cmc.  If is your business, you will definitely see it.

I check the price of bitcoin every now and then to avoid unnecessary tension and stress, of course bitcoin is very volatile and unstable I am very optimistic and confident that in a long term bitcoin has a prospect and becoming more popular thus it's price will keep increasing although pullback will be expected as usual.

Did the 6k stressed you out that much and was planning to sell now? Well if you didn't got stressed then good for you. A lot of people looked into that price and chickened out their BTC out of their wallets. So now, how often should we check BTC price? Before you check BTC price, don't be disappointed nor happy with what the graphs have shown to you. If it is low, change your mindset as that it is an opportunity to build your capital even more for trades. Why would you let your emotions get into your business anyway?

I usually check it every two or three days because there is something interesting happening in the crypto world right now but I never make decisions based on this price and it has nothing to do with my investment strategies. I invest more and trade less so, in the long run, this short-term price fluctuation doesn't really matter. I don't take any stress because of price fluctuation and even when the price was 65% down I was appreciating it because I know it is going to help Bitcoin to grow in the long run. In my initial days of trading it was very painful to see even 1% fall but somehow I was able to manage with this fluctuation.

I have to admit that it’s actually stressful to check the price every  now and then especially if you’re itching for the right time to make a sell. To cope with the stress, I check out the recent news on crypto and see what may have affecred the price. This allows me to understand why the price behaves the way it does. If there are any good news about btc, I can expect the price to go up and it helps me ease up a bit even while the price is low.

I check them daily and regularly but I manage to cope up with my emotions and not really care about the price if it goes down because I usually hold Bitcoin for long term since I mostly placed all my savings from the bank on Bitcoin. But if there are times I get stressed out like when I checked Bitcoins price the last time and it was like $6k, what I usually do is I delete my application on my phone that has every coins I have in my portfolio so I would not be tempted to check on them again the next day.

If it's such a problem and cause of stress, I would just stop checking the price altogether.
There's a better option in that case, if you still don't want to miss major price drops or increases. You should find yourself a good customizable alert app that warns you when the price goes under or over a certain level.

Here's an open source one that will either send you an e-mail or a text:

Just relax, take a cup of coffee and wait for the market to start growing again. Believe me, this left very little time, as analysts say.
I check the prices every morning not to see if the value of my portfolio has gone up or down but to observe the market behavior and the compare the current speed with the price velocity of the last two months. This helps me to stay optimistic about the technology and is the only reason why I am still here. One should stay very consistence and patient if one want to have super normal profits.
There is really no harm in checking prices everyday even if you are a long term investor. It is just the mindset one has when checking the value of your holding that is the main issue.
Unless we want to lie to ourselves, there is absolutely no way your heart will not be on your investment and you will just want to check how well you are doing which is normal, but letting little things like drop in value get to you when you should be less worried about them and look forward to the future is always where the problem lies.

I do not check the bitcoin price a lot, maybe about once a week or so. it's one of my ways to get rid of stress and avoid panic because I choose how to hold or long-term investments.

Bet you've asked, very often. This is something normal for us cryto currency users, it's like some of drug that drives us crazy whenever we see the market is bearish or bullish. We react on what we see because it connects us. Even in the time of sleep, numbers pop up my head before I closed my eyes and thinking that maybe tomorrow It will be different. Now to lessen the stress I feel everyday, I play online games, that way I somehow forget and gives me peace of mind, relaxes me and even smile a little bit.

I'll admit that I still check BTC's price as frequent as when I first got into cryptocurrencies, but I sort of feel "numb" to the volatility. Bitcoin crashes by $5k? Meh. Alright. Time and experience in the blockchain ecosystem made me used to the huge price swings I guess.
Yes it happens everyone get good and bad time so do the bitcoin, we get nerves at start about bitcoin fall and rise but then later on when we learn about it we get experience, so don’t worry everyone use to do this at start but then they learn a lot of things through experience, I use to see the price but I don’t value the low price, I wait for the long time and I see the market getting high so I sell then again buy some bitcoin once again, keep checking the price once a week don’t keep checking all the time.

I don't have the fixed time to check the price of Bitcoin. If I have time, I'll go and look at it. Generally speaking, there will be no obvious changes, so I won't take a short look at its price. If the price drops, I Will not pay attention to it. Grin

I just check it once in a day or so and then I hit my workplace. Then after coming back home I will usually start working on my forum work and wont usually look up there pieces. The reason is simple, the more you watch the prices the more you keep thinking about it and get panic about it if it is reducing in the prices. That is the thing I always try to avoid and also if anytime I saw the too much drops then I will check it multiple times just to see what is going on with the prices and whether there is any bad news about it. As that could be the reason for the same. However, I usually avoid it watching multiple time thats for sure.
