My bro just said I'm getting addicted to my Portfolio app, and I think he is right. I usually check crypto prices at least three times a day. I know it's not very healthy checking crypto prices these days, but bitcoin specifically has been doing well.

When I'm about investing in a new project I believe in, I usually monitor the price for a couple of days. There are those moments when you believe in the team behind a project and appreciate their methods of communication, but the price of the token could be even more appealing. A crypto enthusiast once said, "It is far better to buy a wonderful crypto at a fair price, than a fair crypto at a wonderful price." Since it involves money; no one would want to throw funds away. You'd definitely want the accumulate a wonderful crypto at a fair price!

When you monitor cryptos for a long time you realize that sometimes as quickly as it goes up, it can also go down just as quick. That is one of the perks of being observant. You know when to jump in and when to pull out. Don't forget the French/ English proverb; a stitch in time saves nine.

PS: If you have high blood pressure, I'd say you should avoid checking the price of altcoins regularly. Every time I check the price of some Alts, they're down another 5%. Such dumps on Alts could trigger up the blood pressure.

What about you, how often do you check crypto prices?

I check from time to time maybe 4 to 6 times daily I don't have blood pressure and I'm comfortable with my investment I have no problems even if the price is going up or down, but of course, I always wish that it's going up, we all want it to go up of course.

I don’t see anything bad here, I myself check the prices of my coins more than 3 times a day. I mean, I check those coins that I trade on the exchange. And a hodl strategy for altcoins is a sure way to lose money. Hodl can only Bitcoin))

Before a couple of months, i got used to check my portfolio and CoinMarketCap on daily basis, even hourly and sometimes i may check my holdings value every 10 minutes.
Nowadays, alot of things changed and i became "careless" , i even can stay for like 10 days or more without checking anything.

I often look at the prices of those coins in which I invest for a short time. Because I need not to miss the time when the price of these coins will go up and I need not to miss this moment. For some coins, growth peaks can last several hours and you need to have time to sell them first. That is why I and many traders constantly check prices.

Since I invested in some coins, this has happened recently, and also started to trade a little.
Since then, I noticed that more and more often I check cryptocurrency quotes.
At the same time, I am absolutely not upset if the price falls.
Goes opposite into my part where I do actively checking on prices yet ive hold some shitcoins and good coins in my bag.
When I do see that the entire amount in fiat inside my portfolio decreases then it do stresses me out.I tend not to check out but
my mind do always bother and my hands do tend to do its work. Cheesy

In 2017 I was checking the prices every hour, to see how my money are growing. Now I don't find it so interesting. At least for now

Personally, I always follow the market forecast. Since it depends on my capital. If the price starts to fall, you need to always control yourself and not give in to emotion, since you can really damage your health. You need to boldly and quickly think about your decisions. And then success is guaranteed.

There was a time when I used to check the price of coins in the market 7 times a day, but I don't really think about checking the price of coins unless I want to trade on an exchange which will determine me making those enquiries.

I have this mentality of we basing our conviction in crypto on the technology and not just looking at the price in the crypto market searching from when to dump or buy a coin, I think everyone in the crypto space should also learn to focus on the technology and not on the price of coin because price can be very volatile.

I don't think there is a cryptocurrency enthusiast out there who don't check their portfolio of crypto market apps atleast 2-3 times daily, personally it's the second thing I do after waking up each morning (the first is to pray).

If I remember it correctly, it should be around 5~6 times. Depend on what coin I am holding on, for example. If I am holding on Bitcoin, checking it based China trade time and EU trade time is a must for me. Because something will happen at those times. But if I am holding on other small alt-caps, I just check it randomly since the price is being determined by traders mood or Bitcoin movement.

I check prices 1-2 times a day. To be honest, this is already a habit Smiley Even on the condition that I now hardly trade or invest. But it helps me keep abreast of trends in the crypto market.

I always check their prices everyday but not like before when I was trading as I check them every hour every minute. But now I am only holding and not trading that is why three to four times a per day is fine with me.

I check crypto prices every day because it is my only way to earn money and I have not another profession. Thats why I am active crypto trader.
Checking crypto price everyday might give you pressure. Pressure might be huge if you buy at highs, and when checking price everyday, only see price falling down. It is interesting to observe price everyday if you buy at bottoms. In contrast, if you choose strong altcoins, but unfortunately buy at highs, not at all time highs, you should only observe price one or two times per week. Strong altcoins will rally sooner or later, checking their price everyday don't help them raising sooner.

If you are getting used to the market, and you are comfortable in your portfolio, then nothing to worry about each time you look at the price in the market, this is pretty normal in a highly volatile investment, you will get yourself in trouble and end in a hospital if you suffer depression whenever you are looking in the market.

I usually checking cryptocurrency price everyday in coinmarketcap website.
It is very important to monitor the value of your investment, so you can prepare the next move,
either if you want to buying more coins, or selling your coins.

70% of investors will do this every day because it is essential to determine your daily profit. I also regularly check the value of many other top altcoin because if those coins tend to fall, I will consider buying if that is a good choice for my profit. Sometimes when I work, I often do this because the market is very volatile and if not careful, I will have a lot of big losses in investment.
