I usually checking cryptocurrency price everyday in coinmarketcap website.
It is very important to monitor the value of your investment, so you can prepare the next move,
either if you want to buying more coins, or selling your coins.

I check crypto prices every day because it is my only way to earn money and I have not another profession. Thats why I am active crypto trader.
If it's true that trading is your only way to earn money, then why do you join a project campaign and use their signature. Please just stop spamming by making this kind of posts.

At first, I was addicted also because my friends told me how much would I gain, then I can't get enough sleep because I was always checking my phone every night. Of course, I don't want to be left out when my invested coin pumped. Eventually, my excitement fades away when I experienced a huge loss. But I still have interest in crypto, it is just that I do not expect that much. I just think of a long-term view.

The increase in bitcoin in the last months has brought back the old me when checking crypto prices. When it was the bear market, I even made it once a month because nothing is happening but now that the market has regain its full health, I'm back on it checking 3-5 times in a day. And now that I am into IEO, I invested in a few coins that I kept on checking.
I check the market every day, I can’t imagine the addiction, buy any cryptocurrency and don’t go in a month

Well, I check crypto prices often to check if I am doing a short term trade some of my coins in my portfolio. There are a times checking twice a day to be updated of crypto price in the market. It is upon on our decisions when to do trading but checking prices or observing the market could helps to decide.

I see the price of crypto at certain times, this I usually do when I want to trade a certain coin, this I do one week three times. I do this to find the right moment to make decisions in trading.

as a trader I always check crypto prices hourly sometimes in a minute, I know it's not healthy, but I don't want to miss the opportunity to earn profit or losing more money if the price is down. Well I'll be stop checking prices if I converted into USDT or fiat.

Last two months when I still do day trading, I check my portfolio almost every moment to keep updated with prices even though I set price alerts.  But recently, I prefer mid to long term trading and I only check my portfolio maximum of 2 to 3 times daily.  Sometimes even though I intent going in for mid to long term trading on a coin, daily checks on my portfolio help me adjust my decision. If I discover massive price spike, I normally sell and buy back if need be. In essence, I also used to be an addict of checking crypto prices but it's not so right now anymore.

I think once a day is quite enough, you don't even have to check too much, just go to coinmarketcap and it will show you the first top 50 and just scroll them through like how does the market looks and that should be enough, you should not need more.

I kinda think that people who check more than once a day should be traders, if you have a job based on what the price of bitcoin or any other altcoin is then yeah there is a reason why you should check the prices but if you have nothing to do with it and just an investor then once a day is more than enough, what can you do about it by looking at it if you are not gonna trade it or have power to change it yourself? None. Hence more than once a day is purely trader thing and no one else should do it in any circumstance.

Much depends on how "tight" a person is engaged in cryptocurrency. Of course the trader should keep an eye on the price of his coins very often. But if you bought let's say bitcoin then it makes no sense to look at its price every day although many look anyway.

When I actively trade, I can check prices every hour or even more often, but now I am out of the market and check prices 1 or 2 times a week, today I am not interested in the market.

For BTC, no need to check everyday, as I have no plans to sell it anytime soon. Some other coins however, I wouldn't mind getting rid of.

Me, I do checked BTC price on a daily basis or let's just say regularly, every time that I'm online, the first site that I check is https://coinmarketcap.com/ and that gives me the entire picture of the market since the top 100 are the coins that are dominating the market.

Maybe some would think it's not a bad habit as it will only affect our emotion especially if you have no business to sell in short term, personally I do hold for long term but maybe I already get use to looking at BTC price on the daily basis and have learn to control my emotion even at a bad market day.

The only time I check everyday is when I am planning a short term trade... or a coin I hold has tanked completely and I'm simply looking for the least horrible way out of it.

For BTC, no need to check everyday, as I have no plans to sell it anytime soon. Some other coins however, I wouldn't mind getting rid of.

I check it every 4 hours. but I checked not on the exchange, but the Blockfolio application. Easier. And I set an alarm at a certain price, so I do not miss if I want to buy or want to sell it.
It is important to have some glance of our portfolio and to see what is happening to our investment. But, isn't enough to check the status of our coins, looking it into coin marketcap is somewhat reliable than it appears in portfolio applications.
Anyway, prices may vary all the times and can't expect that all the changes will appear in every minute when using any apps than to check it in a certain exchange.
