Binance #SWGT and CERTIK Audited
Hello friends! My team and I recently organized a full-fledged cryptocurrency exchange platform. Unique design, user-friendly website, Estonian Cryptocurrency license and so on. Now we are asking ourselves the main question, how to find customers and establish ourselves in the market?

For me if you wanted to advertise on this forum, running a signature campaign will do. I found it catchy because even me, whenever I see something new on signatures, and if the signature is catchy, I'll visit the page and use some of my time on that site.
You can also make your own forum. And make some paid posting there. That will do also, I've seen some exchange doing that and it seems successful.

Launch a decent announcement thread complete with a good design I also recommended that you complete all your social media sites, and build your telegram or chat channel so they will know where they can reach you if you have a budget launch a signature campaign this is for awareness, it's actually word of the mouth that will attract you more users, so improve your support.

To be honest, you have a team and now you are asking how to market the platform Huh This doesn't sound very trustworthy and doesn't sound like professionals are going to run the exchange. Running an exchange is a highly complex matter. Whoever then asks for marketing tips will surely fail.

1. Create a token for your exchange if you don't have one yet and then coordinate with various airdrop channels to advertise it. If I am not mistaken, Binance became an instant hit because they did this.
Binance became known not because of their token but because of their service as an exchange. And it's just so happen that through the popularity of the exchange, their native token took the attention of the investors and traders.

Although this isn't a bad idea but I suggest that they have to focus first with the exchange rather than thinking of making their own token. All of the marketing suggestions are good and if they have a decent budget, they should hire an entire experienced PR person or team or agency for the marketing to easily monitor the promotions.

Know your target market too if you are going to focus first with local or you'd go int'l already.
Yes, you can add their service as part of the reason. I'm not really referring to how BNB got the attention of investors or traders but how Binance used it to help spread awareness of the exchange. I remember them launching community competition such as creating videos about Binance and pays the participants with BNB.

The main post is asking how they could market their exchange so maybe they really did their part when it comes to development & licensing. Hiring someone who is experienced marketing products related to cryptocurrencies isn't a bad idea. I would still recommend methods that wouldn't hurt their budget for testing the waters.
I agree about them testing methods and strategies they have absorbed through suggestions or those strategies that they already have. It's a test-trial for which they will learn a lot from the experience that will build throughout the process.

Before asking this question why don't you reveal the name and url of the site. If the exchange is already up and running you should first give the link to it.
Having a hint through the username of OP, you'll get this website.

https://revalcoin.com/en

And their address in Estonia is indicated on their company info and contacts.

Secondly you need to decide where you need to market it. You can market it through facebook, google ads or on this website in form of campaigns. Also it depends upon your marketing budget.

A lot has been said if your exchange has unique characteristics, organizing twitter campaign or other social media will also increase the visibility. Doing AMA with Youtubers that have a great audience will make it exposed to crypto lovers and having it published in cryptocurrency blogs like crptodaily, cointelegraph, coindesk, btcmanager , coindoo etc will attract the right audience.

I think all of these can create a huge impact on your presence, but the one thing that can make your presence felt is the word of the mouth or reviews from actual users of your platform, beef up your security, set a high standard in your support, even if you have awesome marketing if your service and support sucks, your marketing will be useless.

Creating a new token just for the sake of marketing is not really good. Not many people for that trick now, except for a few who like to speculate like crazy with their funds.

Just start with announcement thread as mentioned, and explains why you can be competitive, followed by good service and customer support. Sooner or later you'll gain enough traction and if you're good enough, maybe you can compete directly with the top 3 exchanges on the market. In short, marketing is easier with great products.

Not another unneeded token, creating one for your exchange may even be counterproductive cause most newly created token/coin is a scam and if your exchange (which is also new) is associated with one, it can also be accused to be a scam exchange; and that being said, Binance token was created in 2017, and you know how much things have changed since then.
I can see where you are coming from but who really knows 100% if it's going to be another unneeded token? The native token will become useless if the exchange itself isn't good enough. Like I said, the method will help increase awareness of the exchange and not a guarantee that it will bring in serious traders.

there are various types of campaigns here. they are especially interesting to me when the service owner gives some bonus to newly registered users and for testing and giving suggestions on how to improve the platform. there are both sides to the gain, you will get first feedbacks, some new customers. Some of them will be happy with the earned bonus, maybe they like the platform so they stay for a long period.

however, to market your product or service, you have to spend extra money. advertise on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to reach potential users.

before stepping in there, you better create an ANN thread for the exchange you have and respond to all the opinions in the ANN thread.

Running an advertising campaign on Facebook and Google can help a lot. They are holding a great amount of customer's insight in which you can use and make a suitable target. The signature campaign is also a great choice for sponsors cause the bitcointalk community is a place where most of the crypto traders come to visit. News and articles are also very good but you need to have the right source with a high volume of traffic daily. I suggest you can make an offer with Coindesk. Many traders read this site for new information

2. You can also ask reputable crypto influencers to write a review.

These old school methods increases awareness for your exchange at a lesser cost but there is no guarantee that it will bring in serious traders.

Sponsored and guest blog posts can also help. All that matters is your marketing budget.

Good suggestion, I forgot to mention that. @OP Take a look at BitcoinPRBuzz[1][2]. I haven't used them myself, but they look like a reputable service.

The rest of the sites (CMC, Etherscan,...etc) and newspapers don't deserve these sums.

I disagree. In my opinion, when advertising on these sites, you are reaching a larger audience compared to when using the forums.

I don't want to be pessimistic, but your question will reduce the possibility for many to use the platform because when you start a business, it is better to be specific to all operational, executive, marketing, and other plans.

As beginner advice: try to use the visual and written content included in these sites Youtube, Reddit, and Twitter.
After you create interactive content, you can increase the number of users by promoting this forum, but you need to pay a lot of money.

Jack of all trades 💯
You can start by creating an announcement thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0

Then, you can look into the following options:

1. Participate in the forum's auction. See these stats (the takes several seconds to load).
2. Start a signature campaign.
3. Buy an ad slot in Etherscan.io (IIRC it costs around 1500$/7 days), Coinmarketcap, or some other big crypto site.

This suggestion is good to execute already by the OP and I will add more options for him to select.

1) Start a social media campaigns(like twitter,facebook and linked)
2) Start a contest where people will be excited to participate the more appealing the prizes the more chances for you to get an attention.
3) Hire a ambassadors on each countries so that you will get a local promoter and expand your business.

This options are good to go already @OP but it always depends on your budget.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
You can start by posting the name of your exchange here. Cheesy

Make an ANN (announcement) thread in "Service Announcements" first and follow how other sites have done their ANN. If you need help, contact any of the bitcointalk ANN/graphics designers. You can find a lot of them here -Overview of Bitcointalk Designers

Next job would be to start a bitcointalk signature campaign like OSS said.

Then go for promotional content on news media sites like cointelegraph and others. Some managers here might be able to link you up with them for a sweet deal so make sure to ask them first.

Sponsored and guest blog posts can also help. All that matters is your marketing budget.
Also, don't forget to work on ORM and to make use of SMM, especially with platforms like Twitter and Youtube in which most cryptocurrencies users like crawling. It could be by doing an advertising campaign on Twitter, get a video review on YT...

Increase your social presence, broadly speaking. Forget Facebook, it's full of low information voters. You can use it for your profile but don't waste resources on it
